I keep hoping they'll bring in someone from way out in left field, like Arden Lyn from 'Masters of Teras Kasi', or Masamune Date from 'Samurai Warriors', or Inphyy from 'Ninety-Nine Nights'. Or Captain Underpants. I bet the Captain Underpants creators would be honoured to have their champ in a Smash game. "Tra la laaaa!"

[EDIT: If they brought Captain Underpants into Smash, I'd hope they'd get permission to bring in the Weird Al song from the movie, too. I mean, I don't care about the movie all that much, but that song is a real banger. It'd be fun to smash with that cookin off in the background. I love that rah-rah sound, man. And it's perfect for Smash! There's already an (unseen) audience in Smash! They chant your name when you go ham!]

A couple things weren't announced in yesterday's presentation:
1) A new Arthur spirit will be gifted to anyone who has played Ghosts N' Goblins Resurrection on their console.*
2) A new Sophia spirit will be gifted to anyone who has played Persona 5 Strikers on their console.*
3) Your preexisting level 99 Rex spirits have been lowered to level 92 instead of just immediately becoming enhanceable.

*Both will become available to everyone else later.

Mythra handles really well. I actually did real combos in training mode for the first time basically ever; however, she is sorely lacking in kill power.
Pyra seems to move fine at first, but after you've been her other half for a minute, she feels sluggish; however, the power & reach really do make up for it.
Their Classic route is genuinely fun to play, once you remember to switch characters.
Their DLC board is weird. For one thing, anybody with 100% completion already has half of it done. For another, there's the aforementioned issue with Rex. For yet another there's the announced introduction of a fight for Poppi. And finally, there's TWO Legend-classes, with all the frustration that implies.
