ELITE SMASH
Featured in: Ultimate
Function: High GSP matchmaking
Trivia:
--Unlocked once a character gets over a certain GSP threshold (which increases based on the number of active player accounts).
--Re-locked if that character drops back below that threshold.
--Rematches are disabled if the previous fight brought a character into or out of Elite Smash.
--Replaces the normal "Solo" Quickplay option; however, non-Elite characters can still be used, just without the Elite parameters.
I'm not good enough to get into Elite, & I don't have enough patience with Quickplay to *get* good enough.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

The only characters I've ever gotten into elite were Isabelle and, somehow, Mii Brawler

I got Dark Samus and Bowser in.
ES helped me realize that I really dislike online ranking systems. Yeah it's partly 'mad cuz bad' but it really is a terrible experience in a lot of ways. If you want to actually have fun and get better at a game lobbies are your best bet. That being sad, even by low online standards ES is hot garbage lol.
