Stage of the Month #103: Walk-a Walk-a Walk-a
PAC-LAND
Source series: Pac-Man
Appears in: Smash 4 WiiU, Ultimate
Home characters: Pac-Man
Availability: Unlockable (WiiU), Starter (Ultimate)
--Unlock: Play all 3 Smash Tour maps.
Type: Ick-heinous
Hazards: Scroll, hydrants, logs, water spouts, moving platforms, cacti, collapsing bridges, springboard, stat changes.
Music:
"Pac-Man"
"Pac-Man's Park/Block Town"
"Pac-Man (Club Mix)"
"Namco Arcade '80s Retro Medley 1"
"Namco Arcade '80s Retro Medley 2"
"Libble Rabble Retro Medley"
"Metro-Cross Retro Medley"
"Sky Kid Retro Medley"
"Yokai Dochuki Retro Medley" (WiiU only)
"Bravoman Retro Medley" (WiiU only)
"Galaga Medley" (Ultimate only)
"Mappy Medley" (Ultimate only)
"Area 1 - Dragon Spirit" (Ultimate only)
Trivia:
--This stage comes from the arcade game Pac-Land, the first game to use the has-limbs-&-eyes character model for Pac-Man that was developed for Hanna-Barbara's cartoon.
--The scrolling speed changes based on how close to the front or back of the screen fighters are.
--If Bellossom appears, its Sleep Powder will scroll away from it.
As ever, I hate scrolling stages, & this stage in particular, since all the terrain looks like a solid painted backdrop & you never expect that stupid swimming pool to be a pit.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

i never play here on purpose. all i really know about it is that the top blastzone is way higher than it seems like it should be.

^^Like, freaking seriously, they brought back this garbage, but not Pac-Maze.
^Rumble Falls wasn't too bad as long as you didn't jump into the spikes. It was better than Icicle Mountain, at least.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

bad stage. stages where you can listen to mappy music shouldn't be this bad.
