Adjustments:
Luke Cage overlaps season 2 of Daredevil.
There is now also talk of a Runaways series on Hulu (which sucks for anyone outside the USA) as well as a New Warriors comedy series staring Squirrel Girl (which probably means she won't be played by Anna Kendrick, despite that being a great idea).
Also, the second Black Widow novel came out....& unfortunately, it establishes that the novel series is not canonical to the MCU (the book involves She-Hulk & Captain Marvel, neither of whom yet exist in this continuity).
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Dr. Strange was really good, and one of the most spectacular visual experiences I've ever seen in theaters. It's one of the few times I would actually recommend seeing it in 3D if you can spare the money, and if it it doesn't bother you too much.
Also, if you're a fan of Mary Jane Watson, you might want to get your Johnny Blaze on before seeing it. Just a suggestion.

I saw 'Doctor Strange' yesterday with my pal Shane. It's the first new MCU anything I've seen since 'Iron Man 2'. I liked it a lot. Occasionally the visuals were a bewildering clustercuss, but all in all it was excellent. Easily my favourite MCU thing of the past few years.

So I'm not big on the Doctor Strange lore (I knew he had magic, and that Dr. Orpheus from 'Venture Bros' is vagely based on him, and that's it)-------------so does anyone have an opinion on Tilda Swinton getting cast as the Ancient One (aka something might have been an Asian man's role)? Example of whitewashing, or nontraditional casting?
Personally I thought she did great in the role, I don't have a single problem with her performance, yet I know that isn't strictly the issue, here.

They rewrote her role as a Celtic figure so I have no problem with it. If she were meant to be Asian then I would have a problem with it.
EDIT: Actually, I remember when they rewrote The Mandarin as a token rich white guy in Iron Man 3 and that really pissed me off. So I could just not care as much about Dr. Strange as I did about Iron Man because I grew up reading Iron Man comics. But the good thing about Dr. Strange is that there were other non-whiteness to go around. They made Mordo black, which is cool.
I actually just read up on the wiki about Tilda Swinton Ancient One, and the scriptwriter said he felt that he was going get backlash either way because if they made the Ancient One Asian like in the comics they would continue the Asian kung fu master stereotype, but if they made the Ancient One white then they would not be able to cast an Asian actor in a major Asian role. Interesting.

^You should watch "All Hail the King".
Timeline news: Dr. Strange clearly takes place in 2016, but exactly where is undetermined. It could potentially overlap a bit with Civil War, considering
Strange turns down a patient who sounds a hell of a lot like Rhodey no matter how much the director tries to deny it
, but there's no confirmation either way.

Yeah, as good as the Marvel Netflix shows are, I feel like each season could be 1 episode shorter & it would help the pacing tremendously. (But Netflix just has to enforce their 13-episode season format universally!) Fortunately, since it's officially a "miniseries" instead of a full series, The Defenders is only going to be 8 episodes.

ABC put a mini-series online called Slingshot, focusing on the Agents of SHIELD recurring character Yo-Yo Rodriguez. It's framed in the middle of season 4 of AoS (& that's when it should be watched, as the frame itself is a spoiler), but the actual plot takes place between seasons 3 & 4.
Further study reveals that Doctor Strange takes place over a period of many months (starting just after Civil War), so it probably overlaps Slingshot, the tail end of AoS s3, & most of AoS s4.
Also, the new trailer for Spidey Homecoming shows Tony Stark still sporting his facial wounds from Civil War, so they may butt up against each other too.

Updates for everybody!
Film:
Final trailer for Guardians 2, out next month.
New trailer for Spidey Homecoming, out in July.
There's a 2nd episode of Team Thor as an early teaser for Ragnarok, out in November.
Netflix:
Iron Fist was underwhelming. I'm also not sure whether it's set before or after Civil War.
The Defenders has completed filming, & they put up a new teaser revealing the release date: 18 August.
The Punisher is still due out by the end of the year.
Jessica Jones s2 & Daredevil s3 are now filming, likely for 2018 releases.
ABC:
AoS just came back from hiatus to start its final arc of season 4.
Leaked set photos from Inhumans suggest that it will connect to AoS. Black Bolt, Medusa, Maximus, Karnak, & Lockjaw are confirmed.
Freeform:
Cloak & Dagger are cast.
New Warriors (starring Squirrel Girl) is officially greenlit for Freeform as well.

While I loved Jessica Jones, I thought Luke Cage suffered greatly after <spoiler> died, and it kinda became a joke. However, Iron Fist has sunk even lower, I feel like Finn Jones was miscast (it was the perfect opportunity for an Asian Marvel hero too!) and his acting was terrible throughout. I hated how they did the flashbacks, it always looked like they just filmed it on a set, they could easily have devoted an episode or two for his time in K'un Lun and fight with the dragon. Instead we got more terrible villains and a boring, unconvincing story. I did like Colleen though, but they didn't really feel right together.

Finn Jones was terribly miscast. Danny Rand is traditionally Irish-American in the comics--I agree that could've been changed & they could've had an East-Asian actor instead, but Jones being white isn't the reason he was bad. The entire production was sloppy too: bad dialogue, bad pacing, weak cinematography, weak choreography, unclear plot, horrible production value, Bakuto, et cet. And yeah, more K'un Lun would've helped a LOT.
I didn't think LC suffered as badly as you did. The 2nd half of the season was weaker, yes, but still good.

^Yep, everything in the timeline in my OP is canon. (The movies don't acknowledge them much, for practical reasons.)
All of the Netflix shows (so far) fit in-between Winter Soldier & Civil War.
Agent Carter directly follows First Avenger.
Inhumans will tie in with Agents of SHIELD. (So would Most Wanted & Damage Control, if they'd been greenlit.)
Not sure how Cloak & Dagger, New Warriors, or Runaways connect yet, but they are supposed to be in continuity.
By the way, here's a poster for Inhumans.
