Nintendo and Konami announced today that not only is DDR finally coming to GameCube, but that Nintendo's number one plumber will be throwing his weight into the project (which seems to be becoming a trend lately). Dance Dance Revolution with Mario is being co-developed by Konami and Nintendo and is due for a summer release in Japan with a dance mat bundle also available. In addition to the familiar rhythm-based gameplay that many Nintendo fans have missed out on for years, DDR with Mario will also include several mini-games. Although specifics on the song list have not been made available, it's a safe bet that at least a handful of Nintendo-themed tunes will be included.

DDR with Mario will be on display at Nintendo and Konami's booths during the Next Generation World Hobby Fair in Japan, which starts on January 16th.

Yes, and maybe they'll lose some weight.

Damnit, that's mainly the point of DDR. Exercise for us bums that sit on our asses all day.

And that's bad why? Sure, they might be braggarts occasionally, but you can just ignore that.

And I would expect that response from you, Carter, judging by your signature.

Back on topic....

Calm down. I'm allowed to have my own opinion. As if anyone cares whether or not you respect them.

And I'm fat? Hahahaha.

DDR is pretty lame, and Mario is a sellout. Next he'll be in Gatorade ads and snorting coke off a nude 12-year old.

Yeah, I would much rather have them just port a normal DDR game instead of making a Mario one, although a few Nintendo songs could be nice.

As long as we don't have Mario dancing in the background of every song like characters did in Konamix, I'll be fine.

What? The dancing characters are awesome. That was the only thing wrong with DDRMAX, is that there were none.

Now now, Curt. Just because someone's opinion is different doesn't mean you can go call them names.

Yeah, I can't dance because I don't like to hop on a plastic pad like a retard with his feet on fire. Good one.

A "troll" is someone who signs up on a forum with the sole intent of flaming/insulting the foundations of the forum. Since I was merely expressing my sincere opinion that DDR blows, I am not a troll.

No... "trolling" is just making often ignorant posts with no reason or explanation on boards just to get a rise out of people.
