Help me to lose weight
Hello,
I was wondering what kind of activity i can do over the summer to help me lose weight quickly. I know the healthy way to lose weight is over a long period of time for lasting results, but i have always been overweight and i absolutely hate it!! i dont have much patience when it comes to waiting a long time for something, and that is why i am still overweight. It must sound stupid, but i want to lose weight fast. Will you please help me.

Eat three full, healthy meals a day. DO NOT SKIP MEALS even if you are trying to lose weight fast. Skipping meals slows down ones metabolism. Aerobic exercise is the way to go. Such exercise includes walking, jogging (uphill jogs add an added challenge and faster effect), biking, and rowing (your local gym or fitness center *should* have an ergometer, which is a rowing machine). Also, if possible, rely less on internal combustion. Instead of driving or taking a bus, walk. If you have to drive, park a good distance away from your destination and walk the rest of the way. Instead of using the elevator, take the stairs. There are all kinds of minor lifestyle changes that add up over time. Yes, the process will take time. Trust me, it is much better to stick to a good routine for a long time than to cut corners (such as becoming anorexic of bulemic). The wait will be well worth it. Good luck!

Rapid weight loss usually means muscle and water loss. That's why people suggest going slowly. If you want to lose fat, it takes time. More important than exercise is diet. If you're getting too few or too many calories, you will have trouble losing weight no matter how much exercise you do. If you need some help, check out FitDay. It's an easy way to track what you're eating.
That's not to discount exercise, though. It's a vital part of the weight loss process. In general, I suggest HIIT for cardio, although some would claim it's best to start out with steady rate cardio (anything that gets your heart rate into its target rate will do). Personally, my cardio is HIIT on a treadmill. I have fun with it, and it only takes 20 minutes. Sports, running, aerobics, dance, and martial arts can all be forms of cardio. Don't underestimate the power of weight training. A lot of females are scared of weights, but it's very difficult for women to put on bulk.
I'm gonna go a step further than just not skipping meals. I'd suggest getting meals every 2-4 hours. Bring snacks with you wherever you go. I have MRPs and fruit in my pocket on a regular basis, and I keep protein powder at work.
