Your one stop show for all things beer, wine, vodka, etc...
I mostly drink beer, Great Lakes to be specific. They're Edmund Fitzgerald porter is good, but I mostly drink their signature lager Dortmunder.

I like whiskey, straight or with Coke. Unfortunately my friends aren't really into it so I never really get to drink it. My friends and I usually drink rum (Bacardi Oakheart for shots, something super-cheap for mixing) and vodka (usually super low-shelf vodka because we just use it for mixing). One of my friends' parents usually has a bunch of gin at parties so I've taken a bit of a liking to that, but it's not my favorite.
I'm not picky with beer. I'd prefer something fuller from like Bell's, Founders, or New Glarus but if all that's available is water Heineken or Pabst I'll drink it. I'm not huge on wine. If I buy some it'll probably be like $3 stuff.

Edmund Fitzgerald is really good one! I love beer. I'm not picky. Love Michigan brewing companies a lot. And my local small breweries.
I love wine and ciders and margaritas and sangria. Not a fan of mixed drinks usually but taking shots is fine with me. Tequila and vodka are my favorites.

Well, I love beer. Typical ones are Yuengling and Blue Moon and Guinness. I also like Flying Fish and Magic Hat. I can go on and on listing beers. Killian's is also good. I have a scale in my head of the quality of beer. The extreme awful end is Beer 30, then it rises to Natty Ice and PBR and Budweiser and most American beers. Yuengling is when you're at the average quality in my book, when you can finally say "This is good." The best I've had so far in life is Hofbrau Original. It's a shame that I can only find them in six packs around where I live.
With hard liquor I love rum, specifically darker, spiced rums. I used to buy this dark spiced rum called Castaway Cove, but they mysteriously disappeared off the face of the Earth. I prefer the Captain more than Bacardi. But The Kraken is awesome rum. I love to make rum and cokes, or Cuba Libres, as they're also called.
I also like to make mojitos. White rum, sugar, club soda and mint. I don't really like to put a lime.
Mixing Yuengling with Coke is much tastier than it sounds. Trust me. Both parts have to be like nearly equal though for it to taste real good.
I love Amaretto di Amore. If you want to try alcohol but hate the hard stuff start with that. It's sweet and delicious. I like to use it as an after-dinner drink. It's also always cheap. Never more than $13.
My favorite wines so far are from Barefoot and Blackstone. I prefer red wine rather than white wine, but if I have to have white wine to go with a certain dinner then I really like the Portugese white wine Vinho Verde.
I'm not so much into whisky and stuff only because my family hardly got into them. But I love Cutty Sark whiskey.

I prefer red wine as well but I've only had Manishevitz I think it's called. It is a little too sweet for me. I've only had Irish coffee and rum and coke when it comes to mixed drinks. I'm honestly not that experienced in alchohol, I just know I like lagers and porters.
I can't stand IPAs, the hops give me a headache everytime.

^^ Really wish I could get Yuengling around here. Stuff's cash.
I'm a beer fan. As far as style goes, if it has the word "Ale" in the name, then I generally will like it. My choice microbrews have come to be Bell's in MI, Griffin Claw in MI, Schell's in MN, and Lakefront in WI. Great Lakes is good too.

IPAs are disgusting.
My favourite beer in the world is Dragon's Milk, but it's too dingdong expensive to drink but on special occasions (eight bucks for a .75L bottle--------I'm not made of money, here). Black Boss Porter is a pretty good approximation. I'll drink about anything except Budweiser (Budweiser sucks. Brother-in-law drinks Bud Light, the 'why bother' of beers. That sh*t could come with a Mr. Yuck sticker on it, it's that vile. Ish da.
Jager is good.

...although, you know, if someone offers me a Bud, like at a party or hangout, I'll take it. I'm not some snob. But it's definitely last choice if I'm rootin through a cooler. Like, I'd take a Blatz or PBR, even a Steel Reserve first, and I'm pretty sure Steel Reserve is a bastard brew comprising three parts beer, one part rubbing alcohol, and two parts orphans' tears. It is not a fun beer--------it is an 'I want to drown my sorrows, but don't have the seven dollars to buy a bottle of drug-store vodka' beer. (Been there.)

^ I never really hated Bud, but now I kinda do on principle since I learned this week that Bud Light has their own line of bastardized cocktails called Mixxtails that are like Long Island Iced Tea. I already tried their line of "margaritas," and their Mang-o-Rita remains the one alcoholic drink that I flat-out couldn't finish after tasting (and I've had some awful drinks made for me). The very thought of a "Bud Light Long Island Iced Tea" gives me nightmares. Bud could remain in their lane of being "America's Piss-Bear of Choice" but they've gone too far.
Mang-o-Rita is the one good Rita they have you shut your trap
Mang-o-Rita was the only one I had more than a sip of so maybe the others are worse and I just didn't experience enough of them to hate them as much. I mean like the biggest part of what makes something a margarita is the tequila so it's already a **** joke in the first place anyway[DOUBLEPOST=1434243260,1434242830][/DOUBLEPOST]on less ranty notes, current favorite drink is vodka citron and triple sec with splashes of orange juice, lime juice, and a sprig of mint (my buddy likes his with cranberry juice which is good too but i like it just fine). really nice summer drink
