It does bug me when women wear shirts with words on them & then get offended when you read the shirt. I can control my sex drive--that crap didn't kick in until puberty--but I've been reading since I was 2, so it's reeeaaaalllly hard to suppress that part of me.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

The Heart: Cream Shitaba
The Law: Yamagura
It's been a while. But I have a reason this time.
Three months ago, my grandfather had a heart attack. After three agonizing weeks of seeing him in the hospital just getting worse and worse to a point he couldn't even talk anymore, we brought him home as per his final wish. Then he passed away on the 6th of April, downstairs, right under my bedroom.
I've handled some deaths in the family before, but this is my first experience with someone in my immediate family and someone I consider very close with passing on. Given this was a man who has taken care of me in the 27 years I've been alive and that I've literally lived with him my entire life to the very end kind of made this one pretty hard to handle.
The above comic is dedicated to him, loosely based on an amusing story of when he was a traffic cop in the Philippines when he cornered a petty thief that eventually just gave up and went home after my grandfather and his partner bickered over who would take him in. And yes, that's a portrait of him on Yamagura's sweater.
He was 88.
Much love, Lolo. I'll see you soon.
Anyway, I think I've gotten over myself enough to resume posting here. I'm also finished with school for now, so it's a good a time as any. Pity I had to take a break--I was doing so good being semi-regular with comic updates for once. Hopefully I can get back into it.
I have much to catch up on. I have some art requests to do, as well.
