I'm not certain how you can live in Wales and have that as your warmest clothing, but that blows. Wearing a lot of layers? If you have to get to a shop to get a real coat I can spot you the cash.

Okay but you should consider getting something that traps heat in better. That's what the outer shell is for regarding most appropriate ski-wear. Climate change has some serious consequences and a lot of people can die from the cold, don't let your core temp drop.

If it does drop any colder which it might, I do intend on getting better warmth gear and the like. It's the negative of living up in the mountainous region of wales.

you could try having a thick layer of beard and lard like myself
it's the walrus method of insulation and it works for me
