South park and Earthbound.

If Stone/Parker switched developers and said "screw you Acclaim" and then a South park RPG was created by another good company that isn't full of jock dip****s, then it would be awesome.

People just don't talk about non-flagship NES games these days, if you haven't noticed. They talk about Mario or Megaman, or the more gimmicky stuff like the powerpad. The likelihood of Maniac Mansion showing up in day to day conversation is slim. This is just one of those rare occurances.

^READ THE POST CAREFULLY!

I said that I am PROBABLY (Keyword: Probably) the only one here who's heard of Maniac Mansion. Reason why I've said probably? Read AI's post. That and our LucasArts forum was KO'd awhile ago.

Aaaah how could I forget good old Populous? One of the highlights of the Sega Master system besides Phantasy Star.

Because I didn't see this topic?

Anyways, I say Knuckles Chaotix. Not the Sonic series, but Chaotix games (Or similar, like the beta Sonic Crackers). Mainly because not only did it make good use of 32x power, but also because of how unique the controls are.

EarthBound. It's still alive in Japan, but I want it here.

Ah, I love Day of the Tentacle. One of the first computer games I ever played. I remember my cousin needed a whole bunch of disks to copy it over to my old computer, too. XD (Or that may have been another game, but remember the days when you had to insert the following diskette and then hit a button? Joy oh joy.)

I played Maniac Mansion (and the fan remake) only in the last year or so. Great fun, though it can't beat Tentacle.
The hills are shadows, and they flow
From form to form, and nothing stands;
They melt like mist, the solid lands,
Like clouds they shape themselves and go.

It should be codeveloped by Namco with Tales of Symphonia's gameplay(but alter it just a bit) of course, since most of Squeenix's employees are at Namco.

I was always a big Breath of Fire fan. I don't know if that's considered 'dead' but they haven't made a new game in a while.

Startropics.
Only because I forgot about this topic a longass time ago.

Although Sweet Home bleeds into Resident Evil (pun not intended) and it really wasn't meant to have sequels (I don't know how it could happen. Mamiya was exorcised, so unless the gang signed up to be Ghostbusters and investigated more haunted mansions...), I'd like for Capcom to at least quit pretending the game never happened.

Magi-Nation by a landslide should have been redone or continued for the GBA...
Send me Hyren bringing rain
Cleansing wounds and easing pain
But if with lightning storms they play
Keep them very far away
