So true. Waluigi=Gimmick like the others say. I hope he gets killed off somewhere. A good example is him burning to death at the hands of Bowser, who is 100000x cooler.

Idea: Peach geting captured by Mario, after he snaps when Peach gets captured by a Poodle, and makes her do his bidding for a while, by secretly brain-washing her a bit, eventually taking over the Mushroom Kingdom, and Bowser's Castle as well. Mario acually plans that in 20 days, everything will be complete, and he will dispose of Peach. So its up to Luigi(To show he can defeat his bro), a Toad(To rescue their leader), Bowser(To regain his castle) and maybe Wario(For the $$$).

Can too. Wario existed just fine by himself for, let's see... *counts* 8 years, from 1992 (Super Mario Land 2, Wario's debut) to 2000 (Mario Tennis, Waluigi's debut). And even still, Waluigi only appears in the party/tennis/golf/racing games. If Nintendo felt that he was an important part of Wario, you'd think they could at least put him in Wario World or the Wario Ware games...

Great. Brooser, you just gave me a scary idea. Waluigi having his own microgames, sprites, and a good role? The world will be a worse place if that happens. And what would he have? Rejected Microgames? Stupid Microgames? And anyone who finds Waluigi important is insane (the bad kind).

Yeah but it never felt right to me to have an Evil version of Mario without an Evil Version of Luigi now we have a Complet Set.

You're hardly coherent. You obviously never read the Mario Land 2 manga. I'm sorry, but you can't really claim authority on the subject without it, in my opinion.

Nintendo published it. It explains the backstory of Wario and Mario. I'd call that official.

It's been translated and was in some Nintendo Power issues waaaaaaay back, probably ten years ago. Of course, they also have it all in a single collection.

I also recall Penguinman posting a link to a site that had all the pages scanned. If it's still up, I could use it, because my book has some pages missing, I believe.

Well, I finally got started on my mod of SMB. It will have revamped graphics, new levels, changed story, and new music. I decided too many people try to just make their own story in the Mario universe, and I wanted to retell it in my own fashion. I will post about it either here, or in the retro forum.

I know enough about 65c816 asm to hack an HP meter into Super Mario World, and seeing as how 65c816 is just a pumped up 6502, the NES processor, I can probably help you out with some stuff.
