In this game speed, combat, and time are the essence of the game, you can play as Sonic or Knuckles only, you can go through 5 speeds, you can litteraly slow down time and set youself on fire if you get fast enough!
You can go ANYWHERE in this game!
An evil empire's ship has attatched itself to sonics world, imprisoning Eggman and using his technology and robots to enslave the world, but in order to do this, they must get the master emerald!In order to keep sonic at bay, they have infected Tails with a deadly virus!
Playing as sonic, you must destroy the empire and find the cure for Tails!
As Knuckles, you must defend the Master Emerald on the floating island!
