“Now, Mr. Washington, your latent ability is to manipulate your genetic structure to any mass you are in contact with.” Kenneth just nodded, still unsure what that meant for his training. “I have something for you,” Ms. Gainora nodded to Mr. Seek and he walked to Kenneth, presenting two small metal bands. “These rings are made of iron, a basic metal for you to start with.” Kenneth got the idea and slipped a ring on either hand. “Good, Mr. Washington, you seem to have the idea. We will now run the projectile test again, hopefully you will be able to concentrate your mutation into your forearms, and shield yourself.”
Betsy snickered, “ha, Kenny, and you thought it was so funny when they were flying at me!”
“Ms. Pateva, your classmates were quiet during your training, I expect the same respect from you . . . unless you’d like to undergo the training again?” Ms. Gainora asked, which promptly made Betsy shake her head and close her mouth, for the time being.
After that, the training began, and the same orbs came shoot out at Kenneth. Kenneth put up his arms for the first one, fully expecting to just have them bounce off.
“Ouch! Oh goddamnit!” Kenneth screamed as he shook his arms, the ball had slammed hard into his forearms, nearly to the point where he thought he might have broken a bone.
“Focus, the balls won’t stop just because they hit you,” Ms. Gainora warned him, and true to her word two more balls shot out. This time Kenneth opted for ducking and weaving, just barely missing the first ball, the second one scrapping past his side, giving him a slight brush burn. “This is no good if you keep dodging them.”
He realized she was right, realized he’d never use his abilities if he just dodged them . . . but self-preservation was in control of most of his actions at the moment, and he didn’t want to be slammed again with another one of those balls.
Three more close dodges and Ms Gainora’s patience had worn. “Immobilize him, action C12,” Ms. Gainora said, the machine picking up the code. A few seconds later, a long piece of metal rope had clutched around Kenneth’s left ankle, and he shouted in shock as he nearly dodged another ball by ducking his shoulder. That was the last one he could dodge, the rope was too tight on his leg and refused to even let him struggle.
“Focus!” Ms. Gainora said, raising her voice strictly.
Finally, the next ball shot out, and Kenneth put up his arms again. Just as he figured he was about to be struck, he screamed, and closed his eyes to tight his face turned bright red. His arms stiffened up on him, feeling like they were falling asleep from being tightened too much, and Kenneth just stood and waited for it.
“Very good, Mr. Washington. Shut off the machine.”
Kenneth blinked. He wasn’t dead. “What happened?”
Ms. Gainora did something almost close to a smile, but not quite there. “You have demonstrated you can use your abilities under high stress, just like Ms. Pateva here.”
Look at his arms with wide eyes, as the metal snake around his ankle let up, he could see she was right, his forearms had been reduced . . . no, reduced was the wrong word, they are altered, into a dark, black-gray metal. Just as Kenneth realized this, his arms softened almost immediately back into flesh, leaving him a wicked burn as if his arms were waking back up after a few hours of being asleep.
Kenneth couldn’t help himself and hissed as he shook out his sore arms. “Ok, next up is . . .” Ms. Gainora started.

"Katlin are you ok?", wondered Fiona. Katlin is lying in her bed with her earphones on reading a book while wearing a huge dark shade.
"Of course I'm ok", katlin responded in a soft tone.
"Why do you ask?", she replied while still focusing on her novel. Fi is standing at the end of Katlin's bed just looking.
"What happened in the training room... ", but before fiona could finish Katlin interrupted.
"Please Fi I know that you're only trying to help me, but please I just want to be alone for now", Katlin replied.
"Well I'm gonna go see what Megumi and Betsy are up to..." said Fi. She left the room silently looking back to see katlin for a second before closing the door on her way out.
As Katlin notices that she's alone in the room, she takes off her shades and headphone. She glances at the book cover for a second which is of
two happy young couple embracing in hormony. She used to think that reading romantic novels would free her of her blues, sadly this time it didnt work.
"I am so embarrassed... what happened yesterday...
I could just die right now... I never felt so indifferent in my life", Katlin thinks in her mind as she slowly got up to a sitting position. "Kenneth and Megumi were able to use their abilities... so did Betsy who would have a thunk a girl like her would actually possess any extraodinary skill... and Shane... is he the reason why..."
Katlin slowly walks toward the window looking out at the beautiful garden in the setting sun. "It all begain when Fi went before me... "

OoC: *ahem* Yeah . . . sorry about the unscheduled vacation. Aheh.
"Ms. Fiona. Your power is telepathy, the ability to enter and even control other people's minds at your will, correct?" Fiona blinked, the description making her stall a bit, "in fact, if I am not mistaken, you already have control over your power to quite a degree, am I correct."
"How did you-" Fiona started.
"You do a horrible show of hiding your strain as you talked to the other in my office. Did you really think I was so ignorant I couldn't see you making those ridiculous faces?" Fiona turned red and lowered her head, feeling a bit ashamed. "And since we do not need to see if your powers can manifest under stress, i suggest we move on to a bit more intermediate excercise for you, wouldn't you agree?"
"Uh . . . ok, I guess."
Ms. Gainora nods and flicks the control panel, before pulling the small microphone down to her dry, aged lips painted over in that thick lipstick. "Override: Training Room 2. System Shut Down. Open Doors."
A loud hiss from a closed door o the side make betsy jump and utter an obsenity under her breath, Kenneth smirk a bit behind his hand as the rest just watched. Soon a figure was sillohueted from the thick air of the room, holding a towel over his head to rub the sweat from his scalp.
"What the hell, Gainora, I was in the middle of training," a rich, smooth voice sounds out, peering out from udner the towel. Betsy audibly gasped, Katlin and San look at him with wide eyes and even Fiona blushing a bit. He was beautiful, there was no other word for it. His dirty blond hair hung a bit limp with sweat, long bangs draped over his forehead and just kissing his eyelashes. Crystal blue eyes blinked, looking quite annoyed, smooth, baby-soft skin on his strong-looking face in a slight frown as his strong but lean arm flexes, rubbing the wetness from the back of his neck.
"Language!" Ms. Gainora hissed like an old cat, glaring at the young man.
Shane looked over at Gavin, who's eyes were quite wide open, his mouth slightly gaped . . . but something was off, the look in eyes was more terrified shock then awe. He was the first to turn, outraged by the reaction he saw in gavin, more then he probably should have been, "who's this guy?"
Ms. Gainora glared at him, but as she was going to explain his presence anyway she just spoke through gritted teeth. "This is Seraphim Crimson, an exchange student from your sister school."
"Seraph," the young man corrected the headmaster, "I don't go for that Seraphim stuff anymore, I told you that."
"Sister school?" Kenneth piped in, now confused, "I thought this was the first mutant school?"
"You are half correct," Mr. Seek, having been quiet until now, finally spoke up as the business man he was, making sure Ms. Gainora did not say anything she was not supposed too, "This is the first mutant school that is this public. Your sister school, Freedom Force I, is a much more private school, our true prototype school, and Mr. Crimson here-"
"Seraph, damnit," the young man said again.
"-is one of the students from said school. He will be here as both a high student here and a teacher's assistant, just like Mr. Puma."
Gavin grimaces as the eyes turn to him, snapping out of his spell and turning away, the angry look on his face very foreign to his usually calm face. "I have things to do, and this is running long, I will check back for my schedule later," and before Ms. Gainora, now very red in the face, could scream at him, he left the training hall, leaving some very confused students and one smirking young man with a towel wrapped around his neck.
"So, that drama aside, what do you need more for? I was busy training," Seraph says, still smirking to himself . . . there was something not quite right about this guy, and Kenneth and Shane could both see it.
Ms. Ganora, the tips of her ears still red blinks, and, grimacing, turned to Fiona, "Seraph here, among other things, has a natural ability to block telepathy, not many mind-readers have been able to tap into his mind and even fewer to the point of being able to control him. You're test is to tap Seraph's mind and stop him."
"Stop him from what?" Fiona asked, her eyes now a bit more wide in fear. Seraph chuckled, stepping forward and flicking the towel from his waist. His shoulders flexed and everyone, give Ms. Gainora and Mr. Seek, were stunned as a giant pair of feathery down wings expanded from Seraph's back, his hands coming up balled into fists approaching Fiona,
"Stop me from this," he grins, bringing a fist snapping forward, just barely missing the side of Fiona's hear, flicking a few bits of hair aside in the process.
"What are you doing?" Shane called out, now royaly pissed as this new guy has tried to take a shot at Fiona, a girl, no less.
"Quiet, everyone else was quiet during your training, you will be quiet for Ms. Porter's," Ms. Gainora snapped at him.
"This isn't a training session anymore! He's trying to hurt her!" Shane yelled again as Fiona let out a screech, ducking as Seraph tries to lean forward with another strike, again barely missing her.
"Ms. Porter! Focus your power! You have the ability to stop him!" Ms. Gainora chastised her student, trying to force him to use her power. What she didn't know was that Fiona had been trying to use her power the whole time, with no effect, at all. Trying to get into Seraph's mind was about as effection as her trying to read a wall's mind.
"Stop this! Now!" Kenneth shouting this time, but Seraph just sneered, drawing back his right leg and bringing it up. Fiona hadn't expected this, and with being distracted at trying enter his mind, had a hard hit delivered to her abdomen. The scream that filled the hall made all the student's cringe, Fiona falling to her knees, holding her stomach.
"Mission failure," Ms. Gainora said to herself, Seraph showing no more sign of violence chuckled softly, the sweat on his brow heavy as Fiona began to cough, trying to get her breath back, tears running down her cheeks.
"If I'm through here-" Seraph began as he turned, only to have angry fists curl up in his shirt, lifting it up to his chin. He smirked, amused, looking into the furious face of Kenneth.
"Why'd you do it? You hurt her you jerk!" Seraph flung his wings out and flapped, bringing his feet up off the floor a couple inches for height advantage before shoving Kenneth back, watching him land hard on his butt.
The winged young man skidded back a couple feet, but not much before he just regarded Kenneth and smirked, "I was only doing what was asked of me, and you shouldn't think so low of me. It won't be long before you'll have to face off against each other, and do things much worse then I did."
He didn't say anything more as he brushed out his shirt and walked out of the training hall, leaving kenneth still staring him down, his fist clenched. Katlin and San moving over to try and help the still crying Fiona to her teeth, katlin rubbing her back as she coughed a few more time.
"That just leaves you, Ms. Katlin," Ms. Gainora said, going on his business as if nothing had happened.

"I'm ready for my test, so what are you going to do to me"? Katlin questions in a soft spoken tone as she looks around the room nervously than back to Ms. Gainora.
"That's the spirit girl show her all you got!", Shouts Betsy.
"Betsy be silent or I will have you removed!", Ms.Gainora says in a stern voice.
"From the data we gathered from you Katlin... you are a special case...", Ms. Gainora pauses in mid sentence leaving the group wondering as well as the bewildered Katlin.
"I don't understand...", replies Katlin.
"Unfortunately for you... there are no tests that can be done physically to unleash your latent ability...", Ms. Gainora continues on while going through some datas on Katlin.
"You need to learn to open to people... to be able to trust... or else your ability would continue to
stay in its dormant state."
"What if... what if I am just a normal human... what if I like it that my ability continues to stay dormant... I'm sorry perhaps its for the best... perhaps it is fate that wants it to be that way.", Katlin smiles and she gives her speech.
"Perhaps I don't belong here, so maybe I should leave... thank you for giving me this oportunity to meet all these wonderful people.. even Betsy." , Katlin turns to Betsy as she mentions her name.
"You have to go there huh?" Says Betsy as she rolls her eyes.
Ms.Gainora grew impatient as this continue on.
"I'm sorry my dear, but that isnt happening...", She says as she motions Mr.Seek to bring a tape recorder out.
"Excuse me?", questioned Katlin in a shivering tone with wide eyes.
"You can't do this! If Katlin power is in such a dormant state she has no use for this school so let her do what she wants!", demanded Shane.
"I have an idea Katlin... for you to start opening up and for you to allow yourself to trust those around you... why don't you ask your crush out... perhaps that is what you need... a little spark to start the fire...", before Ms.Gainora could finish
Katlin shouted her to be quiet.
"Stop it... I don't know what you're talking about... I have no crush whatsoever!", says Katlin
in a shaky but stern voice while blushing.
"OH really? Mr.Seek please play the tape recorder,"
says Ms.Gainora but Mr.Seek just stares at her.
"Ms. Gainora is it wise?... don't you think it's an invasion of privacy", Mr.Seek replies.
"Are you questioning my method as well?", she gives him a cold stare as she speaks.
"Of course not...", Mr.Seek replies as he plays the tape.
"Since the first time I laid my eyes on him... I knew he was different..." and as the tape continues to play all eyes are on Katlin.
"Stop it! Stop it pleast... please that is my voice diary! What does it have to do with my latent ability!??!", says Katlin while in tears.
The tape countines to play... "Since the few weeks that we have been here... we have only exchanged a few words... I wonder if he thinks of me the same... God why can't I be like Betsy... but she wouldn't be so geeky as to keep a voice diary... anyway what was I saying... I wonder what it's like to kiss him... Shane... why won't you notice me..." and at that Mr.Seek stops it.
"Katlin...", Shane tries to comfort her.
Katlin is in tears at this point.
"Now are you happy? Now why don't I see my latent ability emerging!?!? What the hell did that have to do with anything!?!?!", Katlin screams as she snatches the tape from Mr.Seek's hand and runs off.
"And that is our session for the day, I hope you all learned a vaulable lesson.", says Ms.Gainora as she walks out of the hall.
"Poor Katlin... she did not deserve that.... that was way harsh... if you call that a training session... her training was the hardest.", says Fi.

About two Days after that fateful training session, A new student entered The New force academy. His Name is Vincent Lowrence, a tall gangly man of 17 years old. Due to odd circumstances involving the disappearance of his parents and his abusive compuliv gambler "stepfather" He became emancipated at the age of 17. While gifted in intelligence and the literary arts. He was quite surprised to find out that some strange new school had accepted him for gifted children. Gathering the few posesions he had he Began to ride the rails to his soon to be new home.
Soon He found himself in the vast chapel like entrance hall to the school. Vincent, is an interesting sight to see, some would speculate that the old saying about the thin line between genius and insanity fits him well, too well, standing at six feet tall and weighing only 150 pounds he seems dangerously thin. His hair is a dark red and worn in a long braid that goes down past his shoulders, his eyes are a mix of blue and green that seems to suit him well. He wears a Grey muscle shirt, Black carpenter pants, with black steel toed work boots, and strangely enough a lime green lab coat. His only bag is military style duffel. It was obvious that He was to meet the tall blonde man near the center of the Hall.
“ You’re Gavin correct?” Vincent inquired.
“ Yes, and you’re Mr. Vincent Lowrence then?” Gavin asked in return * Vincent nods* “Good, follow me to Meet the Headmaster of the Academy.” He said.
Gavin then lead Vincent into a large office where, he saw a women in a black blouce and skirt, she seemed frail but Vincent wasn’t so sure.
“Hello Lowrence, you can call me Ms. Gainora, I’m glad that you decided to accept my offer, I wasn’t sure you would considering the situation you were in at the time.” She greeted him kindly
“ Its nice to meet you Ms. Gainora, as I said in my letter I was glad to get out of Cheyenne The local school system wasn’t challenging enough and I really couldn’t afford my apartment anyway. So what kinds of programs do you teach here?” Vincent replied calmly ‘ I have to feel this situation out carefully, sure it’s either here or Juvenile hall but I want to be sure that this is the better option first.’ He pondered to himself.
“ Gavin has a slide show that will answer your questions quite nicely Mr. Lowrence.” She replied as cooly as he did.
Some thirty minute later, the slide show was over, and while his face didn’t show his shock and confusion, his eyes however didn’t hide his fear. “… so you’re telling me that this is some kind of training camp for humans with supernatural abilities?’ * Vincent’s eyes have lost all traces of fear and are shining with inspiration, and excitement. * ‘”While I’m not so sure I have any kind of ability that would be considered worthy of this fine institute, but rest assured I’ll not be a burden! I’d be thrilled to stay here. This is just what I needed a great inspiration to get the creative juices flowing! So where am I going to stay and who will be my roommates?” Vincent gushed enthusiastically, *soon his hands had retrieved a pocket PC from his duffel and began typing away at it with incredible speed. While the young man was so absorbed in his writing he didn’t notice the borderline sinister smile that had crept across the face of the Headmaster of the school upon hearing his reaction.*
“ I’m pleased to hear that Mr. Lowrence, Gavin please show our newest student to his room.” Ms. Gainora said.
“ Yes Ms. Gainora, Please follow me Mr. Lowrence.” Gavin replied. * He then rose to his feet and headed for the door. Vincent Sprung to his feet and slung his bag over his shoulder, he looked up and got to his feet and began to follow Gavin, while still madly typing away at his most prized possession, the Pocket PC his mother got his as a birthday present three years ago, only days be fore she and his father disappeared.*

Gavin sighed deeply, having shown the new student, Vincent, to his room with the other young males, Kenneth and Shane, who, luckily, weren't in yet from their personal training. He still considered himself lucky that he was able to shrug of accompanying then, Ms. Gainora forcing Mr. Seek to take the job instead, who was honestly less then thrilled of being demoted to babysitter. Gavin had been shrugging off his duties for the past 2 days, to be exact . . . something about the 'new' student didn't sit well with him and this whole situation was starting to . . .
"You're thinking about me."
Gavin let out a yelp and jumped, quickly turning to give the owner of the voice an angry glare.
"I was not!" Gavin defended.
Seraph quirked an eyebrow and smirked, leaning against the side of the steps so he had been more or less hidden from view. "I already know you've been thinking about me," Seraph waves a hand, looking at Gavin honestly, "honestly, I had no idea you'd be here, they told me the students involved, least from first enrollment, and a few of those involved, but your name didn't come up."
"Why are you here?"
The faux angel blinks, giving Gavin a very straight-forward look, trying to assess something, making Gavin a bit uneasy. After a minute Seraph shrugs and leans back, "you've been told the story, I'm a high student from the sister school and playing teacher's assitant-"
"Cut it, Seraph," Gavin says flatly, surprising the young blond a bit, his wings hitching up, "you just looked me over, you were trying to know how much I knew, and obviously I don't know much if you fell back on your cover story. Now what's up? Past expirience has told me, if nothing else, when you're around something is going down."
"Too bad that's all you've learned," Seraph frowns, staying silent for a long minute. "Get out of here."
"What?" Gavin loses the expression from his face, going blank.
"This is the only time I will tell you this, get yourself out of here."
"Why? Something is going down. Damnit I-" Gavin started.
"No, nothing is going down. This just isn't the place for you. Someone afraid to use his own power has no place teaching others to use their's," Seraph cut him off, closing his eyes and leaning back against the wall, wings spread out so he wasn't leaning on more then the base.
"Screw you!" Gavin shouted, now losing his cool, his cheeks flushing red, his fingernails starting to flex out a bit, his pupils shrinking slightly.
"Heh, no thanks, I, too, learned from past expirience," a smirk comes over Seraph's face, his hair coming down over his eyes slightly.
Gavin gritted his teeth a bit, he didn't want to do it, but he knew it was the only thing that would, 'could', wipe that smirk off his face. "If you're going to preach to me about using powers, you should practice those beliefs with your sister!"
The look that came on Seraph's face was instantaneous, smirk fading into a snarl and wings flapping out. "You bas-"
A loud scream cut their encounter short, a young woman, letting out a shriek of both pain and fear, sounding out from a few yards away. On instinct, Seraph began to flap his wings and run towards the sound, Gavin padding behind him, his eyes shrinking again and his canines extending.
San Megumi was shaking, her few books spilled out around her feet, her fingers curled slightly, shuddering like leaves in a hurricaine near her head. It would be unclear what had happened to her give the fact her skin was glowing pale blue, her eyes white and flashing.
"It's San! She's having an accelerated manfestation!" Gavin yelled out, the fine hair on his arms growing coarser, his jaw starting to shift out very slightly as his voice deepens and rumbles.
"Do what you can, lay her down or keep her from exploding, I'll find an alarm!" Seraph kicked his foot off the ground, wings spread out wide, gliding several feet from the ground before swooping over the girl, her very heat from her body lifting him ten yards from the earth with a startled cry. "Her heat's incredible! Be careful!" and Seraph immediately compensated for his shift into the sky and dived towards the building to find a fire alarm or something to get the other's attention.
Gavin looked at San, his eyes wide, at a loss at what he could do. With San's powers accelerating at this rate, she would destroy the school.

As Vincent was unpacking his belonging onto the bookshelf and dresser near his bed he heard a shriek. That unnerved him a bit. Then He heard the all too familiar sound of a fire alarm tripping. Dropping his bag onto his bed he bolted out of the room and headed in the direction he heard the scream come from. ‘ I lost one home and was pretty much kicked out of a second no way in hell I’m losing a third.’ He thought tom himself.
He began to pick up speed as he raced down the hallway soon he saw a young man with wings growing from his back up ahead by a fire alarm. “ Uh excuse me witch way did the-“ He started but was cut off by the winged man.
“Listen kid I don’t know who you are but its in your best interest to run like hell out of this place so scat.” Seraph Shot at him.
“ Not happening, I’ll find a way to help out if it kills me. I’ll be damned if I’m losing another home.” Vincent retorted.
“Fine if you’re going to be stubborn about it, keep heading down that corridor a ways. You’ll run into a training area after a while. There should be a man named Mr. Seek there, bring him over to Gavin.” Seraph spat.
Vincent nodded his agreement then took off in the indicated direction, soon passing Gavin and some girl who was turning blue and giving off a lot of heat.’ Holy **** she’s going to go off like a super nova if that keeps up.’ He yelled in his head. ‘Must go faster, Faster!’ He scolded himself. Then oddly enough as he pushed himself more he began to see things moving slower around him. ‘ No damn it! I have to go faster.’ He scolded himself the walls around him seemed to move slower but he could tell he way picking up speed very rapidly, but it wasn’t fast enough. He kept pushing himself until he couldn’t feel his pace picking up any more. The wind was roaring loudly in his ears. Suddenly he saw three figures approaching. One was obviously an adult, the other two looked to be about his age. Noticing how fast he was going he knew he had to take some drastic measures to stop himself. So as he drew nearer to the three he grabbed onto the banister of some staircase. The abrupt jerk was strong enough that it pulled him off his feet and he landed on his back.
“ What the? Who are you?” Shane inquired as Vincent got to his feet.
“ No time, you, you’re mister seek right?” Vincent asked hurriedly. Seek noticing the look of fear in his eyes that betrayed his calm facial mask nodded. “ Good come with me, there’s this girl she’s turning blue and giving off a lot of heat I’ve been told to bring you to her.” He snapped out. Vincent then extended his hand witch Seek took. ’Crap I think I pulled my shoulder out of join.’ Vincent though as he winced from the pain. ‘ No time for that now though.’ He yelled at himself.
Soon Vincent was running at his top speed again, dragging Mr. Seek along. At the incredible speed at witch they were travailing, they soon left the others behind. Within a few moments, they were soon approaching Gavin and the girl. Seeing this Vincent not only tripped himself perfectly but also managed to roll so that he took the brunt of the fall rather then the teacher. The two came to a stop a few feet away from Gavin. Mr. Seek was soon on his feet and heading over to Gavin. Vincent lay gasping for breath desperately on the floor.
“ I’m… glad, that I… could… help, out … my new home.” He wheezed out between lung-fulls of air before finally passing out from exhaustion and pain.

Betsy comes out of her room wondering what all the commotion in the hallway is about.
"What's up with the weird chick and is the new boy dead?" she asked with a careless attitude.
"Betsy please go get the headmistress this is a matter of life and death," replied Gavin.
Betsy stares at him in a rude way as if he's not a person with a position to talk to her. "Hun I don't care who you are, but you don't tell me what to do ok?"
"Betsy if you can't be of any help please just go to your room now" said the annoyed Mr. Seek.
"Oh screw you geezers," she replies as she walks away toward Ms. Gainora's Chamber.
::With Fi::
"What is going on... I'm having images of death... something bad is about to happen, but I didn't know I am capable of such ability... there is more to my powers I don't understand", Fi thinks to herself.
As she walks toward her room she can hear a scream coming from her room with Katlin.
"That was Katlin's voice... oh my God I hope she's ok, Fi said to herself.
She enters the room finding Katlin laying unconcious on the floor. Fi picks up Katlin head to rest on her laps and try to wake her up.
"Katlin... Katlin can you hear me?", she asked nervously but no reply.
"She's burning... I need to get help..."

Vincent, opened his eyes and looked around him, he was in the desolate ruins of what was once a grand city. All around him he could see the bodies of the slain, the twisted and mangled bodies were strewn about every where. ‘ What is going on here? How did this all happen?’ He asked himself as he began to wonder the wasteland that had once been a bustling metropolis.
He lifted his left hand to check his watch and saw that his hand was soaked in dried blood. Shocked he quickly lifted his right hand to look at it as well. Like his left hand it was caked in blood. It was also holding a scythe the curved blade was stained red as well.
‘Did I do all this? Am I the one who ended all these men and women? My bloody hands seem to indicate so. But why, and more importantly how? I mean my gift is speed, but unless I could move fast enough to perform a sort of faux telliport there is no way that I could take out all these armed men.’ Thinking to himself again this time more panicked though. He looked down at himself and saw that he saw that instead of his usual attire that he was wearing a black body suit that was covered in bulletproof armor.
He then sank to his knees and dropped his weapon. ‘ no I can’t have done this no noo1 Nooo!!!’ “AAAAAHHHH!” He screamed and suddenly his eyes shot open and he stood up and looked around himself. Then he felt to sharp pains, the first in his head the second in his right shoulder. He began to breathe heavily, and look around him, he was at the new force academy, and then it hit him. The situation there, That poor girl, from the way her enrage seemed to be acting she could detonate like a supernova, probably taking out the academy and everyone in it.
‘ Hell this isn’t good I can’t use one arm, and I can’t successfully use my power yet, what good could I possibly do in this situation?’ He thought to himself, Then he slowly got to his feet holding his right shoulder with his left hand. “ Sirs, is there anything I can do?” He asked aloud waiting for an answer.

A sturdy stride across the hallways, followed quickly by a man in a new gre pin-stripe suit and pressed white dress-shirt, and to the other side a blond teen, his wings flinching behind him from stretching them too hard against the sudden updraft. Ms. Gainora pushed against a set of french doors from the living area, at this point much unused, and entered the large courtyard, her eyes focused and narrowed at the young girl not stotic and twitching, standing as straight as bored, her skin flushed and glowing.
"Seraphim, report." She growled, only to get a scowl from the winged man.
"Seraph, that is my name. The girl's body temperature is reaching high levels, was enough to send me at least 100 yards straight into the air, that kind of updraft needs quite a bit of fuel."
Ms. Gainora lifts her hand quickly and turns to the man in the suit, ignoring the fact that other students have now heard the sirens and came, in shock, to find one of their own students looking like a cherry bomb about to blow, their TA, Gavin, looking like he is completely as a loss of ideas, trying everything from coaching the girl to relax to trying to dig clumps of moist dirt and grass against her skin, only to have it dry to dust and break and seperate, sending the stench of burning grass into the air.
"Mr. Seek, report," Ms Gainora demanded.
"I misjudged the girls' abilities slightly." He answered simply.
"Slightly? This is what you call slightly?" Ms Gainora snarled.
"I assessed her power to energy collection, which, as you can see, is obviously fact. What I could not read was how the energy would be released. From the rate of heat intake to her own body handling the change one of three things could happens. One, she duds, simple as that her body overheats before whatever happens happens."
"Even so, that much energy has to go somewhere," Seraph interjected.
"Two, her body may release the power all at once, in a sort of make-shift wave, a sort of ripple in a pond effect."
"And the third?" Ms. Gainora queried, losing her patience.
"Three, she goes critical."
Again Ms. Gainora snarls, then shoots a look at Seraph, a sort of angry eye to him before spaking to him directly. "Last thing we need is a chain reaction, make yourself scarse."
"Ms. Gainora . . ." Mr. Seek started.
"So be it. Good luck with cherry bomb over there," Seraph smirks and flaps his wings, a slight look of discomfort in his face but it soon passes. Mr. Seek looks over at the head mistress, his eyes quite wide.
"Are you sure its wise . . ."
"This is school, Mr. Seek, a school to teach these young people how to deal with highly dangerous situations and make tough decisions . . . and I think this is quite the perfect time for a new field excerise." She smirks, watching as the girl's skin starts to flare with energy, her students collected on the lawn now, Betsy, Shane, Kenneth running out, Vincent still passed out on the grass, gavin now looting like he had failed himself, not knowing what else to do . . . not until the rest of the student body would be forced to join in.
"Are you sure its wise . . ."

"I'm getting a reading from Fi... Katlin, her power is manifesting on its own" Mr.Seek says with an intrigued look in his face.
"Damn... it has to happen now... well you go see what the situation is and take her to the infirmatory" Replies Ms. Gainora.
"I wonder if there's a connection between Katlin and Megumi... it's as if some sort of chain reaction is taking place..." Ms. Gainora talks under her breath.
Betsy begins to walk back and forth in boredom.
"Betsy how inappropriate!" shouted Ms. Gainora.
Betsy starts taking off her short short jeans and mini top revealing red bikini underneath causing everybody to just stare at her.
"Since I have been here there's no tanning salon insight... what a girl to do?" Retorts Betsy.
She begins to lotion up herself and lay on the grass as she puts on her shade.
"I could make use of this wasted time and the blazing sun."
Ms.Gainora just shakes her head and sigh in disbelief.

He's awake
Vincent’s eyes slid open, then closed again, Then they burst open, The Yong man shot up to his feet, his right arm dangling useless at his side, then pain was searing his brain, as a white hot branding iron to the hide of a cow. He began to pass back and forth rapidly his eyes never leaving the girl who was rapidly drawing energy into herself, the one who might become a living bomb. But then he caught site of something out of the corner of his eyes, the rest of the group, were busy confronting someone. Then he began to listen to what was being said.
“ I can’t believe you could do something like this now of all times Betsy!” One of the two ong men he saw earlier shouted.
“ This is a new low even for you!” The other reproached the girl, his tone seemed to carry knowledge as if he knew this Betsy better then the others.
Then he had had enough of the distracting shouting that came from everyone else, the one called Betsy seemed to be shouting the loudest to try and defend her actions. Vincent’s patience had worn thin and finally snapped!
“ENOUGH! I DON’T CARE!” Vincent bellowed. “Look whatever the problem is settle it later! We have more pressing issues at the moment. For instance how about the living supernova over here? If she goes we all go with her!” Vincent said calming down a bit. He then took a few deep breaths to help him regain his composure. " I’m going to need all of you tell me everything you know about our friend’s power here, for only if we understand the question can we find the answer if we can figure out how her power works we might be able to use that to our advantage. We could in theory build a machine to hook her up to and use it to siphon off the excess energy that she is drawing in. Or perhaps we could connect her to a generator and use that to divert the extra energy.” He said. Then as he waited for a reply Vincent took two large ball bearings out of a pocket and began to roll them about in his hand, trying to keep his hand busy, ignore the pain in his broken right arm, and keep a clear mind all at the same time.

Flat rooftops, most likely some sort of warehouse or even a factory of sorts, only at highest peak five stories, which was both a promising and dissapointing fact. On the plus side it meant it wouldn't take as much mobility as usual to infiltrate the surroundings, on the minus, it meant the same security that protected the ground floor was probably used all the way through the grounds, meaning no weak point of entry. A brush of wind as a figure made soft footfalls against the edge of a nearby building, about six feet between him and entering the grounds themselves, an easy mark.
'Jump, glide, keep to the edge until the target it reached,' he thought to himself. Usually most people made the mistake of trying to curl up behind the edge of the roof or even run straight into the middle of it, little did they realize that is also what most security forces expect, usually applying pressure sensors or booby traps to wide open and seemingly safe areas. The sides, however, being roosts to wildlife, would most liekly be less preoccupied with dangers . . . less, but not completely clear. The figure, shaded by the dark night sky, made his leap, the gliders against his back opening wide to let him almost float over. As his foot touched the ground a loud click caught the man's ears, making him half stumble and fall back.
Several shots were fired, a light flicker of dust from the edge of the roof sending up a cloud, dirtying a set of fingers and knuckles gripping the side of the roof. 'Motion dectecors and gunfire . . . a quick and relatively cheap way to protect all areas of the roof.' His large, white gliders spread out again, giving himself a couple flaps, enough to secure both hands against the edge. The first few shots that been duller then the last, meaning the first couple were shot as blanks, obviously to save on bullets and to scare away any birds that would think to perch . . . would probably be a disgusting job to have to clean up lead-filled bird carcasses every night. About two seconds per shot, the first five having a dull feel before the sixth and seven true ammunition shot . . . meaning the figure had about 10 seconds to free fire before he's be punctured.
'Ready," he thought to himself, then flapped, gliders, wings more like flapped up, "1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4" Shot! Shot! Four seconds wasted just getting up on the ledge. he had to be quick. "5 . . . 6 . . . 7 . . . 8" he ran, against the edge of the rooftop, he was already pressing his luck and time was starting to grow short. He had no iea if any sort of silent alarm would blink because of the fire, but as he had heard no sirens or seen any guards yet, maybe they were untapped. " . . . 9" Time's up, down he went, but not before getting a view of his targetm the small shaft, just 20 yards away . . . in the middle of the roof. "10" and three normal shots fired, blasting against the roof and nearly taking off a finger in the process.
Again he dangled, if there was an alarm he wouldn't get another chance after this, even now, holding himself up off the edge of the roof he was at risk of being seen. 4 seconds to get back on the roof if he flew, he woudl have to crouch instead and propel himself up, risky if he had missed any sort of obsticle, but it would free up 3 seconds. 9 seconds to cross 20 yards, and get into a shaft that he wasn't even sure he could fit through, that if he couldn't open in precious seconds he would be hit and left for dead on the rooftop. No time to look back, too far in to turn around and too late to think fo another plan, as his feet planted themselves flat on the roof's edge, his arms straining to hold his weight. "1!" he was up, and leapt against the roof, the shock through his leg make him shudder but he couldn't halt, as he made a forward motion just as the first blank shot fired. "2, 3, 4" several yards crossed. He misjudged the distance, this was a tleast 30 yards of room, but he had only gotten a glance at the shaft . . . now he couldn't move away, as the more shots fired. "5, 6, 7" his feet slammed over the graveled roof, his wings hitched back, if he didn't make it in time he wouldn't want to have them injured. "7, 8, 9" This was it, the last few feet between him and escape from the roof . . . no time to pull the grate away, he would have to hope it broke against his pressure, there was no toher choice . . . it was now or . . .
"MISSION OVERRIDE. MISSION OVERRIDE. ENDING SIMULATION. ENDING SIMULATION."
The night sky faded, as did the details odf the area. The shaft still remained, but now it was just a unimpressive chute, the edges of with starting to sink into the floor. the guns folfed up and drew back, bright lights, blinding, replacing the cool starlit view that he had enjoyed just moments ago.
"Nice run, Seraph, a little risky . . . but I'm sure you knew what you were doing."
The winged man looked back, peeling off the black material from his face, revealing a look of slight annoyance as a gentleman in a white labcoat joined him.
"Ah, watching me again, huh professor? And here I thought your type had better things to do then admire young men?" he snickers, brushing his sweat-soaked hair from hs brow.
"I assure you, Mr. Crimson, this isn't a pleasure visit," the man started trying to defend himself.
"Aw, pity. I was hoping for some fun today," the faux angel sneered with a grin.
"Then I am sure this will catch your eye . . . you've been given a new assignment."
"What?" Seraph asked, the annoyance in his features returning.
"Yes, you will be enrolling in our new sister school, Freedom Force Acadamy II, or New Force."
~
A strong gush of wind snapped the angelic man from his daydream. He grimaced against the air that pushed his hair about, he hated being used, treated like a servant and forced to tolerate those he wouldn't even have wanted to become known with. He had no real desire to see what would become of that girl and her fearsome powers, the fact if she exploded in a ball of fire meant nothing to him, but it had given him time to escape to the skies . . . and back to see the only person he did care for. Spotting the building it was short work losing altitude and moving the entrance. As per usual, the guards shot him slightly uncomfortable looks . . . his reputations surpassed him, it seemed, as a wide smirk cam over his face, giving one of the guards a wink that made him look away and sweat. He disliked this building, if for no other reason it was too static, too clean, too empty. Those who worked here, he had guessed, stayed only in their offices, they had every they would require provided already, no one ever walked through the halls, least of all when he was their. Maybe they were just afraid of him, maybe the second he left this place would be a radrush of activity. The idea of striking fear into the entire building only made him smirk for a second, he didn't really care at all what these people thought of him, they didn't matter to him, they were not important.
A card slid through a pinpad followed by a quick work of numbers and the door unlocked, opneing partway for him before sliding gracefully the fill way, to allow him entry. The room was dark, no reason to offer bright lights to this room, tests for this subject were done elsewhere, he had made sure he knew that. He walked forward, his wings bouncing softly on his back, his azure eyes adjusting to the lack of light as he looked up at the centerpiece of the room, a large, thick tude standing obscenely around many devices, including one that emitted a constant low buzz, a beep with no breaks like it was measuring a constantly stopped heartrate. His face lit up slightly, a genuine smile as he peered into the liquid filling the tank, speaking softly as to not wake a light sleeper.
"I have returned . . . sister."

OOC You guys are so lazy guess I'll finish up the damn storyline with the girl.
Mr. Seek looks over the unconcious Katlin. Her body shivering as if she's in a seizure. He feels her pulse and notices the flow up her blood rushing rapidly as her body continues to burn up.
"This isn't good... I have never seen a mutant going through such odeal just cause their ability is surfacing" Mr. Seek said.
Fi places her middle and index fingers on tempo of Katlin's head as Mr. Seek continues to be boggled by what he's witnessing.
"Are you trying to ease her pain mentally?" Mr. Seek questions.
"Yes I'm trying to reach out to her in the astral plane", replies Fi.
"I'm impressed by your understanding of your ability Fi... most new mutants have such a hard time adding 2 and 2 together... here you are doing all these things that only an advanced student would be able to do." Said Mr. Seek.
"AHHHHHhhhhhh... urghhhhh.. " Katlin begins to moan as if she's in pain. Her body begins to shake violently scaring Fi and causing her to stop suddenly.
"I... did I cause her more pain?" Fi questions nervously.
"No... no it's not your doing... her latent is breaking... she's almost at the final stage... it's no different from when a young girl finally becomes a woman." Mr. Seek said.
All of a sudden the entire room becomes green covered in moss. Which causes both Fi and Mr. Seek to almost fall backward from bending over Katlin.
They can see tiny vines and little ferns sprouting everywhere.
"Wow... her power... it's so beautiful... " As Fi said that a tiny pink bud emerges between her lap blossoming into a beautiful pink tulip.
OOC. I lied... hahaha.

The others looked around. Fiona and Katlin were missing, as was Mr. Seek and Seraph. Gavin looked desperate but out of ideas, he also seemed about half a foot taller and his body more pronounced . . . stronger, almost slightly beastial, but only slightly, in the features like hands, ears, eyes, and mouth. Betsy was still trying to soak in the light, Ms. Gainora screaming at her to move and betsy refusing to budge . . . how could she be so calm through this? San started to scream again, but most of her noises were muffled by the noise of heat, a sudden burst and whip of pure invisible heat shot out in several directions, one grazing against Betsy's arm, making her scream out as her skin almost instantly burned red and even started to blister a little in the middle.
"Sh-! Om my god! That's hot!" Betsy wailed and moved back in the ranks, Kenneth and Shane watching her, wincing as they get a good look at her arm. First degree burn, but she was barely touched by the wave of heat, no telling what would happen if they got too close.
Ms. Gainora let a very very small smile graze her lips, "now that Ms Pateva is done with her tan . . . this incident gives way to your next test . . ."
kenneth growled, visibly angry and already low on patience, "test?! This is what you call a test?! We have to help her-"
"Then help her. I really don't know what you think 'we' can do. You are the mutants here, Mr. Washington, and she is running out of time. Your test, mobilize your forces and find a way to stop Ms. Magumi from going critical. Since 2 of your units are not here, you may use Mr. Puma here however you wish . . ."
"You are a witch!" Betsy cried out, still holding her arm, the blistering had long stopped but the skin was still ultra-sensitive.
"You, my dear, have yet to find out what I am. Mission start, let's see if you really have what it takes, Mr. Washington," Ms. Gainora moves back and away, leaving the students and Gavin surrounded the enpowered girl.
Kenneth scowled a bit, but time was already short, "Betsy, can you use your powers on her? Stop her? . . . or at least slow her down?"
Betsy whined, "I need a doctor you moron! I'm hurt! We should be worrying about my wound now!"
"You'll need a mortitian, not a doctor, if San explodes," Shane said coldly, shooting her a dark look.
"Betsy, shut up and do it!" kenneth ordered.
"Damnit . . . don't tell me what to do!" betsy screamed out, throwing her one arm forward toward San. Her bravado only grew, making a show of screaming and groaning, but the result was poor, San only seemed to be fogged slow, barely any change.
"Betsy, harder!" kenneth yelled.
"Even if she had more control over her powers at her skill she couldn't do much more! San's particles are moving as a super accelertated rate, its hard for her to get a focus on them long enough to concentrate before everything move and changes again," gavin said evenly, getting up, his arms covered in dirt and grime.
"ugh . . . " Vincent groaned out, gripping the ball bearings in his hands, bending over as his arm started to irritate him again.
"AGH! Do something! I can't . . . you don't have long!" Betsy cried out, now her bravado gone, she really was struggling to just keep the slight use of her powers focused on San.
kenneth rubbed his head, trying to think. Shane's powers wouldn't help, but he could go intangable in case something went wrong. Gavin . . . what powers did he have? He looked quite strong and capable, but this isn't a fight, they needed a solution not a knock-out. His powers? This power wasn't electrical, he couldn't just ground it . . . wait . . . the ground.
"Gavin, is there's a water pipe somewhere nearby?" he asked feverishly . . . if the water system were connected on the other side of the building they were sunk, but since they were in the middle of the ground chances might be good . . .
Gavin scanned the area quick, "pipes . . . into three of the building to the left. They pipes for them should run . . ." he moved a bit, away from San and about seven feet to the left and three more feet sideways. "Here . . . unless they turn . . . they could of turned into another building."
"Gavin, you seemed to be good at digging up dirt before, think you can burrow out a pipe?"
Gavin looked a bit shocked, wondering if it was possible to cool down the girl . . . even if it couldn't stop her, it might slow her down enough to let Betsy get a better grip on her. "I think . . . if they didn't turn, yes. But . . . I don't think I can break solid metal pipe."
Kenneth shook his head and flashed his twin metal bands, "I think . . . I can take care of that . . ." he smiled, but it was small . . .
"Kenneth, what about us?" Shane asked.
"Ah . . . my arm . . . but-" Vincent started,
"You guys wait here for now . . . but if things go bad, Shane you go intangible . . . and Vincent you get out of here . . ."
"No way," Shane started up.
"If things go bad there is no point in you staying just to increase the casualities! You will listen to me and if things go sour you guys need to stay safe! . . ." kenneth looked down a bit, he didn't feel confident at all about this, but he tried to raise his spirit, this was his shot, and he would need all his courage when Gavin could finally unearth a pipe.
"Sh-!

Vincent was still pacing in fact it was getting wores, He had to try and keep a clear head if he was to get through this situation alive and well. the plan that Mr. Washington had come up with sounded like it would work. Hopefully they had the time to implament it properly.
He began to take deep breathes, trying to keep himself calm, the last thing he needed was an adrenilen rush. Then he began to focus on the situation at hand. Slowly his mind began to clear, and when he had throughly began to clear his mind he began to work on two importent tasks, 1 Keeping a levle head, 2 not egknowloging the pain in his arm, it was just a distraction at this point. Slowly but surely his mind over matter approach was working.
" Okay, now that that's taken care of, time to see how long it takes me to get up to speed." Vincent said to himself.
Vincent began to run the parimiter of the courtyard. It wasn't too long befor vincent felt the odd sensation of time slowling down as his speed increased. 'Good' he thought ' now comes the hard part stopping.' With a bit of quick mental math he picked out a spot about 30 yards away and began to forces his hyper accelerated body to slow down. It took alot of effort but Vincent manged to stopp himself at his target stop witch was only a few feet away from where he started his test run, though he still couldn'tquite stop quick enough so he almost fell flat on his face.
"Well atleast I didn't have to fall flat on my face to break this time." He said panting hevily from his run.

"What is this place?" questions Katlin as she opens her eyes to an empty grey cold room that makes her shiver to the bone.
She slowly gets up but feel really light headed as if she could collapse if she isn't careful.
"How many days have passed since I have been unconcious... I hope the others are doing ok" says Katlin as she walks toward the window.
She pulls the window's curtain apart to let some sun in, but only to realizes that the only view she's able to see is of red bricks wall.
She can hear a soft knock at the door... she turns and spoke softly telling the person to come in.
"Do you also knock when checking up on me while I was unconcious?" questions Katlin.
"You should be resting still.... you're not strong enough to be up yet." says Mr. Seek.
Mr. Seek notices Katlin shivering.
"Sorry the heater isn't working at the moment... we are running on emergency power, so we can only afford to run what is needed most" says Mr.Seek.
"Mr. Seek is there something you're hiding from me... if so please tell me now.. the others are ok are they?" Katlin questions him nervously.
"They are all ok except for one... it was a tragedy... it was beyond our control.." he replied.
"Oh my God... please say it isn't so" Katlin begins to weep gently.
"Was it... was it because of my doing... I recall hearing your voice faintly about my latent ability... did my power do this?" She asked him.
"It was San... I'm sorry to say but she didn't make it... " Replied Mr.Seek.

In the week that passed sense the Miguime incident Vincent had been very busy, He was always off on his own, he could be seen as a brief green blur rushing about the grounds, or perhaps training in the gym. But mostly he was trying to stay out of site of the others. No matter where he was he always had his handheld computer, and one of his books with him. Mostly the only time anyone saw him was at meals where he would quietly finish his food then take off like a bat out of hell once excused.
One afternoon he was lounging on his bed in the dormitory, quietly working away on his computer. He heard the door creek open but paid no attention as Shane entered the room.
“ Well look who’s actually in the dorm for a change, your name is Vincent right” Shane asked.
Vincent’s eyes did leave the device as he spoke. ‘ Yeah that’s me, now if you don’t mind I’d like to be left alone.” He replied in an even tone.
Shane waked further into the room and sat on his bed facing the speedster.
‘ Pfft you’re one to talk about avoiding people. Aren’t you off on your own about as much as I am? I’m betting that you’ve got more skeletons in your closet then I do.” Vincent replied coldly
“ What! You’re doing background checks on all of us with that little computer of yours aren’t you!?” Shane retorted, he tried to grab the small computer away from Vincent but to no avail.
“ Trust me, if I COULD get my computer to do more then run basic functions and programs I wouldn’t waste time and resources finding out about the past of this motley crew! I have bigger fish to fry! More impartially my past is of no concern to you so just drop the issue!” Vincent raged shooting a very nasty glare at Shane before returning his eyes to his computer.
Shane returned the glare then spoke up. “ So what are YOU hiding… Why are YOU such a secretive person… spill it!” Shane retorted.
“Why should I? How do I know that I can trust anyone here? Even if I did decide to tell anyone its not very likely that they would give a DAMN! Everyone has a sob story, why should I tell you mine? How can I be sure that I can trust ANYONE?! Hell I’m not so sure if I’m in my right mind so just BACK OFF!” Vincent Roared, he then sprang to his feet and made a dash for the door but, he never made it there, just as he was beginning to run Shane tripped him causing him to hit the floor hard knocking him out.
