There is a chasm in the middle with four small wooden bridges on the outsides, two rope bridges surrounding the stone bridge and a massive stone bridge in the middle. Ronev casts Soul Drain as Shade finishes his spell. Ronev finishes casting it, and Shade flickers. It's apparently an illusion. Shade appears on the rope bridge. Ronev finishes Demon's Gate, and the spell hits another illusion. Shade appears about 10ft away from Ronev, arms crossed, chuckling.

Ronev throws a knife as Shade charges. The knife grazes his shoulder, revealing it to be the real shade. He finishes the spell, but Ronev can discern no effects. Shade's claw gloves scrape across Ronev's back as he attempts to roll away from the attack.

"You are a pretty good fighter, but it ends now. Blast!" Shade casts his second spell, and from his palms, a fiery explosion bursts foward, covering Ronev, who tries desperately to roll out of the way with no success.

Judge announces that Shade and Gus will fight on a field, encircled by a ring of flame which they can leave or enter but will take damage to do so.
Gus charges Shade, who vanishes on Gus's jumping downward slash of his scythe. Gus reappears behind Shade and Gus sweeps his scythe around in a full circle, hitting Shade's side as Shade stabs into him. The two draw back from each other. Both begin casting a spell. Gus finishes first and slams his scythe into the ground. You can see a glow, and an illusion of the grim reaper appears, extending out around Gus, holding his scythes hands as he does. They swing together, downward and a black wave of energy flies outwards at Shade. Shade finishes his spell, and it hits another illusion. Gus is surprised as Shade lands, standing lightly perched on his scythe. He laughs manically and holds his hands out, and the same explosive burst hits Gus in the face. Shade jumps off the scythe, landing perfectly as Gus is blasted backwards, through the flames, slamming into a random tree. Shade walks forward, dashes and leaps over the flames as Gus stands up, holding his scythe. The grim reapear illusion appears again, holding the scythe, and they slam it into the ground, causing several black colums of energy rise from the ground, surrounding Shade. Shade can't leave that small area.
Gus grins and says "With that spell, you cannot leave, even with teleportation. You are a sitting duck. The only direction you can go is up.
Shade says nothing.
Gus chants a spell and the grim reaper appears again, and they swing the scythe downward, creating the wave of black energy, it shoots forward at Shade, who simply leaps straight up, somehow almost 20feet into the air. He lands on the ground as nimble as a cat, and casts his blast spell, slamming into Gus, giving him the win.
You walk away from the fight, and head to the lounge.
There's two middle aged men talking, and a group of three young men. Kate is in there, with her second as well as Grim.
You can also order any of the following drinks.
Water: 0gp. Thirst quenching.
Tea: 1gp. Nourishing.
Ale. 2gp. Strong Liquor.
Wine. 10gp. Fancy Alcohol.
