Tiberius's Story (Arena)

Tara says. I'll see you guys later, I'm waiting for my second."

Arya nods, motions to Mary to follow as you and her walk to an area. Barensia follows as well.

The two of you walk to a stadium to fight, and enter it. One of the judges speaks. "The arena will be a lake with a waterfall flowing into it. There is a bridge over the lake. There's a large cliffy area by the lake, but on both sides away from the lake is more of a steep hill you can go up if you don't lose balance. You may choose your starting positions, as well as decide among yourself if you wish to bet on the fight."

Arya. "I'll start on the cliff top on the west side of the waterfall."

She looks thoughtful for a second. "Let's make this interesting. Whoever wins, buys the other dinner hm?" she looks mischevious.

[Prince Toad]

"Deal."

I'll start in the middle of the bridge.

[[sage]]

She grins and says. "Mary, may I have my weapons now?" Mary hands her a longbow and a longsword.

"Stakes have been decided. Dinner will be bought by the loser. Arya has chosen upper western cliff, Tiberius has chosen middle of Lower Lake bridge. Gladiators Arya and Tiberius begin!"

You are transported to the arena.

Arya: HP: 500 |MP: 200
Tiberius: HP: 450|MP: 250

Arya starts with bow in hand. She moves to the edge of the cliff and assumes Offense Stance B, and casts flame Arrow twice. She targets both western bridge posts.

Surroundings: Both bridge edges are 2 run actions away.

[Prince Toad]

I'll run toward the western side and throw a Pila Alba at the arrow going toward that post. I'll use a run for my other action.

Arya's first arrow strikes the western post and sets it ablaze as Tiberius runs towards the west bridge. Tiberius throws a pila Alba at the second arrow, slicing it in half midflight over the bridge. The right rope, tying the bridge to the rope is burning through. Tiberius runs past the flame, to safety on ground.

Round 1: Crowd Favorite: Arya, Fair Applause.
Arya: MP: 150

Arya casts flame arrow twice, targetting the grass by the steep hill leading up. Second flame arrow targets Tiberius.

I'll run to where the first arrow is going, then cast Pila Alba on the second. My third action will be to dive and roll on the first arrow.

Arya fires her first arrow, setting the ground before the hill ablaze. Tiberius makes a mad dash for the hill, firing Pila Alba at the second arrow, destroying it before it midflight again. He rolls onto the first arrow, putting out the fire before it spreads much, and destroys the arrow.

Arya fires a flaming arrow at the top of the hill, and one at you.

Pila Alba at the top-of-the-hill arrow, and just block the other. If it sets anything on fire I'll roll on the ground. I'll drink my ether, and if I have any moves left I'll move up the hill.

Arya casts Flame arrow, targetting the top of the hill. Tiberius casts Pila Alba, cancelling out the spell. Arya fires a second arrow at Tiberius. Tiberus attempts to block it, but it hits him in the chest. Tiberius drinks an ether.

Arya backs up, enters showman Stance and runs toward the cliff, and jumps off in a swan dive, bow in hands, aiming upside down, and casts Golden Arrow, and uses her last action to swim towards the shore.

Screw that. I'm breaking her bow, and her arrow, and her. 3 Pila Albas.

Arya backs up, a bit out of Tiberius's view, then runs and swan dives, bow in hands. Tiberius's first pila alba doesn't quite reach her before she fires, but hits her bow, destroying it afterwords. The second pila alba slices at the arrow, but the arrow completely annihilates the Pila Alba, and strikes Tiberius as he completes the third Pila Alba hits Arya directly, slamming her backwards into a bad landing in the water, almost hitting rocks, as he is blasted backwards by the force of the arrow.

Crowd Applause: Arya, Cheering.
Arya: HP: 200 |MP: 0
Tiberius: 100 |MP: 25

Arya uses to actions to swim to shore, and draws her sword.

I'll drink my potion, hurl my javelin, and draw my gladius.

Tiberius drinks a potion as Arya swims to shore. He throws his javelin, striking her on the back. She gets to shore and draws her sword.

Arya: HP: 50 |MP: 0
Tiberius: 450 |MP: 25

Arya drinks a M. Tonic, and charges, swinging her sword at a downward left angle.

Showman's Stance. I'll wait until she's a few feet away, then charge at her with my shield in front. As soon as she or her sword make contact with the shield, I'll push with it and do a horizontal slash from right to left.

Tiberius charges, blocking sword with shield, and pushing it aside, then makes a hit of his own, slashing defenseless Arya badly.

Crowd Favorite: Tiberius, Low Applause.
Arya: HP: 350 |MP: 0
Tiberius: 450 |MP: 25

Arya enters showman stance. spins around quickly, slashing on Tiberius's sword side, and chooses to parry any attack.

Offensive Stance B. I'll fake an attack, then step back and bullrush her. I'll try to knock her into the lake.

Arya slashes Tiberius. Tiberius feints, Arya falls for it and parries, Tiberius bullrushes her, too quickly for her to defend, slams into her knocking her to the edge of the lake, where she loses her balance and falls in.

Crowd Favorite, Tiberius, High Applause.
Tiberius HP: 300.

Arya gets up, charges, swinging her blade wildly twice in Offensive Stance A.

Showman's Stance. I'll tackle her and try to hold her head under the water.

Crowd Favorite: Arya, hissing.

She gives the gesture of surrender.

Victory of KO goes to Tiberius.

Judges have ruled that although the Match is technically a draw, because of the Point/KO victories being split, Arya surrendered and is thus disqualified from counting it as a draw or adding her point victory to her record. It will count as a loss by Match and KO, and a draw in points for both.
