Farewell Party! (now with AI stuff)

Welp...

Some of you may have noticed it's been a while since the last update.
Up until recently, we were still hard at work making new stuff.

But, all good things must come to an end.
S1x and I have recently been given word that VGF will be upgraded "eventually" and that when it happens the RPG is likely to go down for good because of compatibility issuses with the new board software.

From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to thank everyone who's played the RPG over the years. S1x and AI and myself and all the RPG mods who came before us have poured countless hours into trying to make this simple little system fun to play.
But in the words of some wise individual in the gaming biz, who's name escapes me at the moment, "A game, until played, is incomplete."

That's why I want to thank you all for the time you've spent playing our creation.

It's not much, but I've put together some bonuses for a final going away party so we can all enjoy the RPG while it lasts!

These "Cheating Items" are designed to help people enjoy the game who never got a chance.
It's my hope that some of you will play through the later parts of the game that were especially well made, but only a few people ever got to see.

They include:
An auto level up character in the Test Area. Boost your level to anything you want! Grinding is no longer an issue!
(Anything about level 60 is probably complete overkill)

A special Potion is now available at any store that sells them.
The Mystic Bazooka is now for sale in Terial.
The bazooka enchantment is now for sale at the city by the sea.
The Fighting footwear for the fighting class was the ultimate reward for those who leveled up the fighter class. It is now available in the Dojo.

EVERY Pet in the game can now be bought in the Forest Edge's Village, including some that have never before been made available.

The Pumpkin Forest and Olympic areas have been reopened, along with an abandoned beta area that Slife made long before I ever became Mod.

Several new special enemies have been added. Can you find them?

Level party restrictions have been removed!

Though this may be the last time some of us ever play the RPG, it is my humble hope that this opportunity is also the first time some of you play it so that you can enjoy all the hard work that was put into it before it's gone.

Talk to me if you'd like your character reset to Level 0 to play again, or anything else, because hell, what do we have to lose at this point?

With that said, Let the party begin!

I certainly hope it stays, heh. Of course, that'd make ummm... what you just did a bad idea, if it DOES stay.

If by some miracle the RPG survives, we were planning on doing a reset when new areas were open anyway. So this doesn't acutally chance much.

Now's your chance.

I'm doing this for 2 reasons.

1: To Thank everyone who played the game.
2: To give people who never played it a chance.

I don't know when this will happen. It could be tomorrow. It could be weeks or months from now.

But with the new features that have been added people can play through the game any way they want. And they should be able to get through the game in no time at all if that's what they want. Give it a try.

There's still plenty of time, mate. You don't have to use any of the cheats if you don't want to, either.

OK. Personally, I thought the cheat items were tricks (hence why I didn't bother going for them).

Here's a teaser of the last completed area in the game, for those of you who have what it takes to make it there.
The whole area has high quality original artwork done by AI.
In my humble opinion, I think I did a pretty decent job doing it justice with the writing, monsters, puzzles, and area design too.

Nope, although a lot of detail in the grass is hidden behind the shout box, so maybe that's why it looks different to you.

I really want to thank both CRAV and S1x and AI for all the hard work you guys put into this game. I've been playing it since it became available and with the passing of the torch to Crav and S1x and A.I.'s incredible skill the game itself had become far more engaging than ever before.

You guys rock and I really appreciate all that you did.
