Test Your Vocabulary
I apparently know 30 400 words. That's barely above the 65th percentile, and I am ashamed.

Accentuate the positive.
I recognized some of the top tier words, but I didn't check them since I don't know the exact meaning (just the sort of feeling or context you'd use them in).
Though, just because I don't know the exact meaning, it doesn't stop me from masturbating those sort of words into my sentences.

31,100.
It's about right for me (relatively) since I write, but probably underestimates the sort of people who have little interest in 'literary' vocabulary but know a lot of technical language or jargon... of course, I understand why they'd choose not to include that.Ace Mercury wrote:If you read the FAQ, they say that everything is really skewed upwards. You know, because only word nerds test their vocabulary.
