You are far, far too kind, Galefore. I think. Your name has changed significantly since last I saw. And those battles were intense, as I recall. Stressful, even.

And actually, when will this be beginning? If we could get a first round in before this week sees its end - even five days to post - that would be great, but otherwise I am leaving for sandier pastures come this Saturday morning, a clause that, with me having just considered it, could bar me from participating in this event. And I don't want to do a disservice to my opponent or anyone else involved by not providing the full time to get down, you know?

Yeah, I'm still Galefore, just currently sporting an inside joke for my username. Anyway, this could either get started very quickly or very slowly, depending on how I advertise. If anyone's got contact with any other Battlefielders from the past who aren't too busy, be sure to run this by them. If it doesn't start soon, the wait for a full roster could very well not yet be over by the time you return. However, if we can manage to find the last three fighters and the last two judges over the next week, we should be on track.

Could work. We could consider starting this with that arrangement, but I would like to know whether or not anyone has an objection to it.

The judging situation could possibly be resolved before time is called for the round, as there's no way I can judge this solo and it be any sort of fair (there is a reason we get three judges, after all). If anyone knows anyone capable, go for it. Apparently HotD and SD are too busy, but if anyone can contact past judges like NG or someone like that, do eet.

Questions

Is there any kind of time limit imposed per round? Because I just reread the rules and it appears that we never agreed on one. All of the abandoned topics around here should be evidence enough that a time limit is necessary.

Usually a one week time limit for posting then one for judging... This time is a bit... different however, with the issues of low activity.
