Three Way Battle (Open)
It has been quite a while since I have had this type of match, but I find them to be very interesting.
So, if two people would kindly participate, just post; I don't care who joins, but the match will begin with the last participating fighter posting, and I'll go last.
My Character and the Stage:
Yusuke Urameshi - Yu Yu Hakusho Wiki - YuYu, Kurama, Hiei
Hyperbolic Time Chamber - Dragon Ball Wiki - Shonen Jump, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo

The Time Chamber article you linked says there is a difference(barometric pressure), so is this the anime Time Chamber or the manga one?
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber has screwy temperature, gravity, and air pressure; plus there's only a few objects with which to interact. This could make the battle weird, hard to believe, or not as good as it could be.
Is it possible we could use a different battlefield?

:( Having troublez wid mai opner. Maiby Luigiman shood start?
I was thinking through a scene where my character starts through the Lost Woods, doing some character development. But it turned out LOOOOOOONNNGGG, so I haven't finished it yet. Although I do have an explanation as what he's doing there, so if someone else started I could get to the butt-ripping with my huge sorceror-wizard dude.
By the way, I'm a big Yu Yu Hakusho fan, so all you need to do is tell me which outfit Yusuke is wearing and you can skip the character development for him. :)

so your starting this, eh irhp? ;)
welp, character intoductions tiem how self centered and short but i dont care lets just get started
zaidon, theres nothing wrong with longness i guess because mine is short
---------
"Goddamnit, think I made a wrong turn back there. Now which way...?"
The tall man pushed aside an overhead branch. He had completly lost his way and now was venturing through a deep wood. He faintly heard the sound of music playing somewhere off in the background. Creatures lurked around, but for the most part, ignored the large, intimidating man. He placed a hand on the back of his neck and lowered his head, causing the brim of his hat cast a shadow on his face.
"Crap. I'm lost."
He was dressed the same as a familiar green-garbed italian plumber, but looked very physicaly different. He was very large in stature, probably around 7 feet, and his large musculature and broad shoulders made him look menacing. He had a gruff voice that matched his appearance. His chiseled face had the same large mustache, but with a goatee. He sat down on a stump and placed a hand on the side of his face, but before he could think, he heard the sound of a twig snapping. He quickly shot up, attentive and listening for more movement.

Okay, just to let you know, I'm working on a very large introduction post, and I know you guys are itchin' to start, but I've been working on this for days, and I don't want it to be for nothing.
If I could just ask for a tweency bit more patience, I'll try to put on the elbow grease and plow through it, since you guys have been waiting so long. I just need a few more days.
Is that alright with you guys?
Fortunately, Luigiman didn't specify where he was, so it shouldn't interfere with my big*** story.
I'm about one-quarter of the way finished, but I already have planned what's going to happen, so I just need to type the dang thing out.
Once again guys, please forgive this old procrastinator... :(

The Lost Woods
Srellen walked into the forest and immediately heard the beat of a tambourine. It only took a few measures before it was joined by English horns, playing harmony in an upbeat rhythm. The trees were almost all sixty feet high or taller. The temperature was perfect, and could not accurately be described as either warm or cold. But something was all wrong, and Srellen could not yet put his finger on it…
He looked around. That’s what’s wrong. In a forest, sound doesn’t travel very far, so if he was hearing music, the people playing should be close by. But he didn’t see any musicians. Something else was wrong about the music, but what…?
He decided to explore. The first evidence he saw that the forest was inhabited was the way two trees had been cut. Through the leaves of the trees above, there are occasional gaps where sunlight poured in. Where there was a tree growing in a sunbeam, it had been sawed down to a stump, making a mock stage lit by a ‘spotlight’ of sunshine. Turning away he could see another not too far off.
“What are you doing here?” came a small voice from the ‘stage’ behind him, which he had turned from a mere moment ago. A normal person would have jumped right out of his skin, but Srellen simply turned around.
The person standing on the stage appeared to be a twelve-year-old girl. She had shoulder-length blonde hair curled at the end, dressed in all green, and had the tiniest of frames. She held her hands together behind her back and casually swayed back and forth.
“You should be careful in the Lost Woods. It’s dangerous to get lost in here, especially you.”
“Why, and why me especially?” Srellen replied in his strong, gentle voice.
“Grown-ups that get lost in the forest turn into Stalfos!”
“What is a Stalfos?”
“a big, ugly monster”
He smiled.
“I see….”
He took all warnings at face value, but hearing things from a child’s perspective can be humorous at times. Srellen heard a scraping noise on a log behind him and looked to find nothing. When he turned back, the child was gone as suddenly as she had appeared.
The music entered the next section of the song and the English horn played melody while a cello took over the rhythm. Weird song…
One strange thing he noticed about this forest is the placement of the trees. Most forests have trees scattered all around randomly, with different amounts of space between them, so one could travel in any direction. This forest, however had large clearings, many with no trees at all. In contrast, where the trees did grow, they grew so closely together and so concentrated that they were completely impassable. This ‘wall’ of trees, with large clearings of no trees, made it seem as though the forest were composed of rooms. Adding to the strange ‘room’ feeling were the massive trunks of fallen trees that had been hollowed out from one end to the other. These hollow trunks formed man-sized tunnels that ironically served as ‘doorways’ between the ‘rooms’. In many places, taking a trunk-tunnel to the other side was the only way to proceed. This forest almost seemed as if it had been planned…
Srellen walked through a trunk to find a way to continue. Beyond the trunk he found a much smaller clearing with nothing but three more trunk-tunnels. Including the trunk he had just walked through, that made four ways to go; one in each direction.
Upon hearing a cadence in the song, it apparently looped around to the beginning as he once again heard the harmonizing English horns play their “oom-pa-pa-pa” rhythm. Something was not right about the music. He couldn’t figure it out. Just Enlish horns, a tambourine, and a cello? Was something missing?
Srellen continued straight ahead and found himself looking… over a cliff…. Everything in this forest was just wrong. But at least he knew for certain that it was inhabited: A safety fence had been constructed at the top of the cliff and there was a ladder leading down. A wooden target was hanging from a tree limb straight ahead. Yes, this forest was definitely inhabited… and he saw a few of them down the cliff and off to his right. They were children, roughly four feet tall, playing on some more of those sunlit stages. They wore frayed orange straw hats shaped like tepees that cast a shadow over their face. Or was that a face…? Aside from the small leather shoes and gloves, their entire outfits were made from materials that grew on plants, and were colored green and orange. Their clothes were trimmed with white rings of an unknown substance slightly larger around than a fist. Their arms and legs looked to be simply large branches of wood. In the position on their head where an entire face would be, all that could be seen were two glowing orange eyes and a mouth that resembled a snubbed duck bill; the rest was a dark void.
The two strange children laughed and danced back and forth, kicking their feet high out to the side with each step holding flutes as if they were playing them. He noticed that they were not the source of the music, as no flute was heard. Upon spotting Srellen, the Skull Kids stopped dancing and leered at him with malicious contempt.
“Hmph.” <I am not wanted here.>
Srellen turned around and stepped through the log tunnel, crunching sticks and leaves under his bulk. Exiting the log, he saw a peculiar bush with olive-green leaves, about one-and-a-half feet high. The bush turned and looked at him.
This elicited an even greater reaction than the girl popping out of nowhere. Srellen had never encountered a bush that had eyes, let alone look at him. Neither had he seen a plant “turn around” before. The bush creature had sorrowful-looking eyes and a round snout. The wizard seemed to unexplainably connect with the plant.
He smiled, at it did so (although, its equivalent of smiling was simply the uplifting of its facial features).
<So there are botanical organisms in this universe that can move spontaneously.> He increased in wisdom.
He laughed and it vocalized its own sounds of jovial approval. It then began playfully hopping up and down, rustling its leaves and bouncing away with the music. They parted ways happier than before.
<What a creature of contradictions!> he mused to himself. <It is a bush, but it is not! Its eyes say, “I mourn.” but its heart says, “I am merry!”>
He was on his merry way in quite a good mood when a freckle-faced redheaded boy, barely four feet tall, barred his path.
“You can’t pass through here! Only Saria’s friends can go to the Sacred Forest Meadow! AND it’s no grown-ups allowed!”
<Sacred Forest Meadow? Then this is the path I need to take…>
“You should respect your elders, boy.” he stated in a stern, deep voice. “Don’t interfere with the matters of adults.” He towered over the child while issuing his authoritative command.
“Ha!” Mido laughed. “What a dummy! We don’t have to follow YOUR rules; the Kokiri don’t have adults. It’s just us and the Great Deku Tree. So no passage for you!”
Although frustrated, Srellen had no intention of manhandling a little kid. He reasoned that there must be another way around.
There was so much wrong with this forest. He noticed that every sound echoed. Forests do not echo. There was nobody playing music, yet music could be heard everywhere. The music was wrong in that something was missing, but he could not determine what. The forest had a cliff, walls, rooms, and a pool of water in the middle of nowhere. A pool of water…
Srellen stopped at the pool. It its reflection, he gazed upon himself. Not out of vanity, but simply because it had been quite some time since he had looked at himself in a glass.
He saw his muscular 6’8” frame. This reminded him that a wizard must train physically in order to conquer his mind.
He beheld his face. It reminded him of a Spartan—though his beard was a bit trimmer—and that he must also be a warrior, for magic spells alone could seldom triumph in a duel. He was an old man, very aged, but could in no way be described as decrepit.
He studied his clothing. Above his chain mail tunic, his clothing was simply many red and blue cloths wrapped around one another to form a vestment. This reminded him how one must combine the elements to produce the desired result, be it physical or magical.
He examined the gold medallion suspended at his chest by a necklace. It was a keepsake from one of his teachers and strengthened his magical powers.
He noticed his sturdy leather boots. Yes, one must have a good foundation.
He gazed upon his weapon: A large hammer with shark skin wrapped around its head, quite abrasive and capable of shredding a man’s skin open upon contact. It was somewhat heavy, but a good choice for one of his strength and size, and he could wield it with little difficulty.
Lastly, he looked on his countenance. He was calm and collected; wise and rational.

Do You Believe in Magic?
Suddenly all the music in the forest stopped as he heard the sound of an ocarina being played.
F A B, F A B, F A B E D, B C B G E…
The music continued as abruptly as it stopped.
[Tambourine: *Chit-ch-ch-chit-ch-ch-chit-chit*]
This time, the English horns’ rhythm was accompanied by what seemed like all the Skull Kids in the entire forest playing melody on their flutes… playing the melody he had just heard on an ocarina.
<That’s it! How could I have not seen it? The song had no melody!>
As if by magic, he could now determine the direction from where the music was coming. He ran.
He reached the tunnel that the boy had been blocking, but this time, he was sitting off to the side, deep in thought, as if he had just seen a ghost from his past. With the boy distracted, he bolted past, utterly ignored by the adolescent guardian. He hurriedly followed the sounds of the forest orchestra.
He entered a new area, a stone grotto. There were less trees here, and the sky was visible. He stood in a small courtyard with an iron gate set in a stone wall in front of him. He stepped forward and a wolf melted up from the ground, howling at the sky. It set its beastly eyes on him and began circling.
He gripped his war hammer and swung downward with a mighty blow. As it came down, the wolf-beast covered its face with its forepaws.
TINK!
It was certainly not what Srellen was expecting. He had anticipated an evasion, not a block. And he was definitely surprised at the stone-on-metal clank that resounded as his weapon ricocheted back off the creature’s paws. It leapt at him with canine agility and raked a claw across his face, leaving three gashes. He stumbled back.
“{Flame Saber}!” His hammer began to glow a fiery orange color. With the next claw swipe, Srellen swayed back out of the way. The centrifugal force of the whiffed attack caused the wolf to spin around as it landed. He seized the opportunity and slammed the hammer into the canine’s aft. Upon collision, the dog burst into flames and flipped forward onto its back, where it uttered its death cry while burning to cinders. The iron gate sunk into the ground, opening the path to advance.
He held his left hand up to the scratches on his face.
“{Minor Heal}” He wasn’t a full-fledged healer, but he knew a few of the less advanced healing spells. Nothing that could save him in a real fight, though. The wounds on his cheek shrank and sealed up.
He continued on into the hallway beyond the gate when he was ambushed by a huge brown giant charging at him with a spear. It was even larger than he was, almost eight feet tall. He barely had enough time to twist his body away from the spear head, but the charging creature’s body plowed into him, lifting him clear off his feet and carrying him across the corridor. It stopped suddenly and Srellen flew off, splashing into a pool of water. His feet found the bottom and he stood up, head and shoulders above the surface. The Moblin stood at the water’s edge, wondering if he could poke Srellen with his spear from his current position. After concluding that Srellen was out of its reach, it turned and walked away, watching him out of the corner of its eye.
It was a large, hideous creature with brown skin and a wrinkled, dog-like face with two large teeth poking out of its mouth from its lower jaw. It had beady red eyes and wore spiked shoulder pads on its huge bulbous shoulders. Dark brown cloth gloves and boots adorned its hands and feet. It looked almost like it had round limbs because its muscles seemed to be too large for its body.
There was one thing Srellen could determine from the encounter, though:
<These creatures must hate water if it gave up so easily…>
He climbed out of the water and stood up. The giant spun back around towards him and prepared to charge. Srellen held out his left hand, palm facing the monster.
“{Mana Blast}!” A bolt of mana-powered electricity arced from his hand to the creature’s heart, throwing it on to its back, as it ignited with green fire and disintegrated. Continuing through the stony maze, in the distance he heard a melody being plucked on a harp…
D4 D5 B5, A5 B5 A5…
It was echoed, this time on a familiar ocarina:
D4 D5 B5, A5 B5 A5…
<There must be people beyond this maze!> He began jogging through the twisty hallways, leaping over puddles of water. He came to another bush creature, this one with autumn-red leaves. It turned at him and scowled. He stopped and assumed a defensive stance.
<This one’s eyes are different…>
Without warning, the Mad Scrub rocketed the largest nut Srellen had ever seen from its snout. It was larger than a coconut and shaped like a hickory nut. It bashed into his face and he reeled back in pain, holding his forehead where a bruise was forming.
“Clever, shrub, but that trick will only fool me once!”
He ran to overtake the creature, deflecting the next two nuts with the head of his hammer, but when he came near, it burrowed into a flower and under the dirt. It waited subterranean until it felt the vibration of the intruder walking away from his flower. It resurfaced to find that Srellen was only a few steps away—much closer than it had thought. He had tricked it, and it was too late.
“Peek-a-boo.”
He swung his fire-powered hammer like a golf club into the Mad Scrub, launching it through the air and incinerating it.
Reaching the end of the maze, he walked up a staircase to a long hall lined with a wall of trees. The ground here was all ripped up like someone had been digging trenches. As he walked down the hall, the glow of his hammer faded, and the effects of {Flame Saber} wore off.
At the end of the hall, he found the body of a massive giant, fully ten feet tall, that resembled a larger version of the guardians in the maze. It was covered in sword wounds. He walked up the next few steps into a large grove with stone walls rising high around it. There was a huge, hexagonal stone riser on the ground with an emblem etched on it, beyond which was an old temple. He barely caught a glimpse of a man in green clothing flying up to the second-story window of the temple, pulled through the air by a chain. He disappeared into the window.

Luigiman was all but lost in the strange forest, ready to transform into a Stalfos in a moment’s notice, when he suddenly heard the melody of Saria’s Song being played on flutes in the distance…
F A B, F A B,
F A B E D,
B C B G E…
D E G E…
He could suddenly tell the direction of the music. He followed it, and the path became known to him. He could tell where to turn…

Srellen had traveled through many lands, taking on the teachings of the world’s greatest wizards, sorcerers and magicians, learning every spell he could, but he wasn’t finished.
<Surely there is something that this “Sage of the Forest Temple” could teach me…> he thought.
But he was disappointed to find the Forest Temple in ruins. It looked as if it had been abandoned for decades. There was a large tree and many vines growing at the front door of the temple, and looked as though no one could have or did darken its doors for years. He cared nothing of some vandal in green sneaking into the upper window. All he could think of was that the sage had finally died and the temple with him.
“NO!” he cried.
He ran to the barricaded wooden door and rapped on it with his large knuckles, which inevitably went unanswered. He began vehemently striking the tree and the front door with his massive hammer. To an onlooker, it may seem like a simple act of rage, but he was actually channeling his anger into completing a task he thought necessary: Clearing the doorway. But it was no use. The tree didn’t budge and the front of the temple merely crumbled, blockading rather than clearing the path.
When it became obvious his attempts were futile, he stopped and backed off. His countenance fell. He felt derelict... alone...
But he was not alone, as two more men in green were about to appear to him shortly…
OoC: Alright guys, sorry for putting it off for so long--hopefully it was worth the wait.
Soooo, that's the scene and character development for you guys. Hopefully you have a good idea about how this Srellen guy looks, thinks, and acts.
Looking back, it seems amateurish compared to the works of Jedi Knight, Firestorm, Wyborn, and Metal Man, but oh well, I took long enough anyway...
I know you guys are wondering, so yes. I promise I will do better on getting the battle posts to you sooner.

<This one’s eyes are different…>
