Metal Man's EXTREME Presidential Adventure - New NC Series - Part 1 Up
Part 1 is here!
This is my first attempt at a storyline thing, and of course, it has just begun, so, the best is yet to come, but here's my first part.
In any case, as you can see, I will be able to keep NC updated.

Yeah, I did.
And yeah, as you can see, my tendency for long sentences is quite silly.
I'll try and cut down on the long sentences for the non-Metal Man characters, but figured you'd guys prefer a handful of panels with long sentences so you can see the introduction now, rather than later. Then as the comic develops, I can figure out the right word-panel ratio for the other characters.

I'm liking how it looks so far. My favorite part has to be when
Steve, after so many years, finally escapes that Extra-move prison thing, and how he's now bent on revenge. He might even just forget his name and go with Silence for a while. It's a kinda cool super villain name
. One suggestion I have is to make a list of Presidential Promises you have, just so I...er, uh THESE SIMPLETONS SURROUNDING US can follow along with what's going on.
Also, I didn't get that pun you wanted to kill me over.

Actually, me neither. I must have forgot to put it in there.
Not to worry, I'll point that out in the next episode.
Also, yer spoiler tags are not working, Gabe.
I forget what activates them.

Yeah, heh.
In any case, this seems to be a success, I will probably have another chapter by next month or so.

You won't be disappointed, as it seems I have read your mind.Perrin Aybara wrote:Heh, that's funny, since for the longest of time I was planning on writing Bill and Fred 2:
The Revenge of Silence.
Creepy.
I was also planning on having a subplot in that story with Dr. Donez vs. Dr. Pepper.

Yes. Even on the second thing. Just with a different character than Dr. Donez.
You'll see. :p

Well, I don't HAVE to, but when I'm just starting out, it's a lot easier to use myself to get the ball rolling and then pick up speed and switch to more panels of the other characters.
Also, Codiekitty had no problem using herself endlessly in panels, and the Bill and Fred story had Jay appearing constantly.
Of course, it makes sense you'd ask, since no comic with that type of self-character use has occurred since I think Mario Busters.

Okay, I have to admit Jay did that too, even in multiple forms (Respo etc). But somehow I just think that this belongs to NC because... it was in NC comix since ever and... it's JAY!
Not very convincing, I know... so I just keep my mouth shut.
I just have the feeling, that the character (!) Metal Man is a bit over-present lately.
Apart from that: I like that you start a story by reactivating a character from one of the classics and so in some kind continuing the old plot.

Do you know the Muffin Man?
