Haven't posted in here in a while. If you wanna fight me, let me know what character you're using. You can pick the battlefield. I'll be using Weegee.

Sweet. I was gonna make an open challenge of my own to have some Gunjin fun while I'm waiting for the other people in Oceansford to post, but this will do phantastically. I'm just reserving my spot right now; actual post will be up later today.

BAH-ZING!

A few drops of the delicious rum dripped onto his snow-white beard, even though his general habit was to have a bit more manners than that. Yes, it's a vice, but great for relaxation after a big battle; and Johannes needed such relaxation after the raid he had just experienced. He knew those waters were dangerous sailing, but normally isn't afraid of pirates... but he didn't expect them to be rockets. That was rough, and the old sailor's ship was severely damaged. But, he could easily gain a new one; someone with as many skills as he could do practically any knid of work. But for now: a drink.

He wasn't really the type to attract too much attention in a pub on the wharf; they saw a lot of grizzled old bearded sailors come their way. He just looked like one that was of exceptional age, with an exceptionally large trenchcoat, exceptionally large muscles, and an exceptionally long sword attached to his back. Well, yeah, the 7-foot long mechanical broadsword did attract a bit of attention, but that's pretty much it.

A scream was heard outside the pub. This only turned a few heads, many of the pubgoers sternly believed in looking out for Number One, and thus only thought "Well, good thing it's not me. Sucks to be them." But the scream turned out to be quite long- a simple stab from an angry prostitute's shank wouldn't cause someone to shriek in pain for that long. But that wasn't the only strange part- the sound became warped, distorted, almost seeming to be an Italian accent at the very end. This did indeed turn about all the heads in the pub. Johannes surreptitiously pulled an old revolver out of one of his many, many pockets, just to be safe. The perpetrator entered.

"What the Hell?..." "GAAHHH!!" and "Ten Thousand Blistering Blue Barnacles!" were some of the exclamations this character received. A cartoon come to life, with a large moustache and very vivid green overalls, white gloves and a blue shirt. This looked like a vague approximation of a human, but it wasn't- it was definitely in the Uncanny Valley. The eyes were the most disturbing part. It seemed like terrible things would happen if you stared into them for too long- "GGAHHAHH!! HELPP!!" -Yep, such things did happen.

Some young deckhand had made the mistake of gazing for too long, and his shape was morphing and shifting and transmuting itself into nothing but bright green, blue, tan and black. He was becoming something exactly like the beast that had entered. The same unearthly scream was being heard from him, and everyone in the room was horrified.

Except Johannes. This man over the years had learned how to remain calm and collected in any situation. He quietly lifted his revolver and fired at the cartoon monster's head. it seemed to have grazed him, and he exclaimed "WEEGEEE!!" and fled the pub. Johannes leapt from his barstool and dashed out the door after it. He put the mutated deckhand out of his misery on the way out.

The wharf was one that you may very well find in just about any obscure port. There were ships moored on the docks of varying quality and seaworthiness, many cheap bars, (Johannes had the taste to go to an expensive one) and brothels. The screaming and action had made many rubberneckers look out the windows of their dingy buildings. Johannes saw the monster running in the light of the streetlamps along the dock. He fired another shot at it. This time he missed, but it turned around, glared, and whispered "Weeeeee. geeeeeeeeeeeee".

Okay, this thing was called Weegee. Johannes put away his half-empty revolver. He donned a pair of old welding goggles, which he hoped would protect him from Weegee's transmuting gaze if it came to that situation. Then, he unsheathed his giant blade in one fluid movement. The long sound of old steel against old steel was a remarkable sound, and the Maschinesabel was a remarkable sight; its hilt having several gems even though the whole deal looked worn, and made of old commonplace materials. The old sailor wielded the giant steel beast as deftly as if it were a thin rapier. He got into the right dueling position. He was ready to slay this monstrosity.

The mustachioed man watched the large pirate-esque man unsheath his blade. He knew this was the man who had grazed him with the bullet earlier, and wasn't about to flee. The surrounding people backed away from the area, most fleeing, and others taking cover. They knew that a fight was about to happen, and they didn't want to miss a bit. Johannees fighting was quite a sight around these parts. Weegee stood some yards away from Johannes, awaiting his move. A strong wind swept across the pier and the clouds moved in, carrying along a few leaves, yet Weegee's still figure didn't jostle, not even his large handlebar mustache.

Weegee made the first move. His eyes caught a movement in Johannes arm, and Weegee slid across the pier, a green blur. He wound up on the side of Johannes, who barely had time to move his head before Weegee swing his arm into his back, sending Johannes staggering forwards. Johannes turned, his foot leaving a skid mark on the ground, andswung his sword at Weegee, but Weegee went into a crouching position an d dodged it with his short stature. He crossed-up with a Green Missle, the black smoke plunging him head first into Johannes stomach.

I harass you for being three days late and am then myself four days late. :/

Because Life is busy. I've got a partial response in a txt document, I'll probably finish it tonight if I have time. If not, I'll post tomorrow. If not that, I'll feel guilty. And I hope you'll get satisfaction.

The impact of the pseudo-Italian made Johannes slide back, shaking, several feet and shook the pier. He was winded from the blow, and didn't move for a second after the missile stopped. This was enough for Weegee to deliver an uppercut at Johannes' chin, but the old sailor's dense, strong body was only somewhat hurt.

Now it was time to retaliate. The broadsword made one massive swing downward at the creepy character, which it dodged - of course it would. However, Johannes knew this would happen and had pushed one of the hilt's gems - and a massive tangle of barbed wire shot out of the blades tip, ensnaring Weegee. The beast's feet were tied up and bleeding, and in one move Johannes swung the blade out towards one of the sleazy buildings and pressed the switch again to release the wires, sending Weegee with his tangled feet through the window. Screaming was heard, and Johannes expected it to return - but no. As he heard a woman's scream turn into the same harrowing shriek heard before, he realized his mistake and rushed in. He needed to think this through better.

It was too late for one unfortunate whore, as she looked exactly like Weegee but in whore's clothing. This was terrible. Johannes looked to his left and saw Weegee doing a flying kick towards him, and he swung the Maschinesabel - but not soon enough, as the fake Italian connected directly with Johannes head.

As this happened, Johannes noticed that he had accidentally smashed a table and given some sleeping drunk a nasty cut while swinging. DAMMIT, He needed to think this through better. He realized that his most treasured device wouldn't be good in close quarters like this, so he sheathed it, but Weegee was coming in for another flying kick. He grabbed an object from the first pocket he happened to reach for - an old adjustable wrench made of heavy iron - and chucked it directly at Weegee's head as he flew. It connected, and he was thrown off course, missing his enemy, tumbling through the air and crashing into a corner. Johannes whipped out the first weapon he found - a two-foot long hatchet. He decided it would be good for now and lunged at the Weegee in repose, swinging it downward in a mighty arc at his crumpled form.

Seated in his regal chair made of polished gold and silver, he peers into the crystal orb that illuminates the battles of the other worlds. His thirst for battle has been depleted and all that is left is his hunger for entertainment. He watches with voracious intent the bloodshed he once so freely participated in and waits for the coming victory of the chosen warrior. Scenes of various battles flowed freely through his mind as he watched from his lofty perch as the diety of the vampire world of Demos.

Weegee had just been smashed into a heap in the corner, and now a hatchet was swinging towards him. Weegee rolled over quickly in responce, the hatchet smashing through the floor and leaving a big hole. Weegee bounded high up and chopped Johannes in the forehead, then pushed himself upwards with the force of the chop and landed on a barstool. Johannes lifted the hatchet yet again and once again swung it, but horizontally this time. It connected with Weegees back and he was dragged through the air with it, breaking a few glasses on the counter. Weegee once again flew through a window, getting a few cuts on his arms and oversized nose.

Weegee layed on the ground, and Johannes jumped out of the window, unsheathing his Maschinesabel and swinging it heavily downwards. Weegee was onced again forced to roll away, looking like a barrel heading downhill as he barely avoided contact with the sword. Weegee finally got a chance to get up as Johannes hesitated for just a split-second, and unleashed a punch-punch-missle combo into Johannes' stomach. Johannes caught the abomination of a plumber by the collar though, and swung him through the air, sending him flying into a cluster of barrels. Weegee picked one up and threw it at the sailor man, Donkey Kong style.

Uh, I kinda.... forgot this existed for a while. Sorry sorry sorries.
_________--------------___________

Johannes was slightly dazed from teh assault. he could see little pixelated 200s, 400s, 800s and 1600s floating around him. Just as the magical numbers vanished, a steel barrel flew at his face, a streak of oil flowing out in the air behind it. Fortunately, most of it was empty, a motorised boat having been refilled recently. Still, the steel hid Johannes square in the forehead, knocking over even his immense mass. The barrel rolled slowly away from him.

He looked up, dazed yet again, and saw Weegee running and jumping towards him. Seeing the trail of oil flowing out of the rolling drum, and noticing that it was in Weegee's path, he fumbled around his pockets for a moment before finding what he needed: a box of dry matches. This was good timing, too, as the cartoon monstrosity was about to jump over the barrel. He struck a match and set fire to the trail of oil, and the flame reached the barrel, which Weegee was just jumping over. Perfect, he thought, as the oil exploded right underneath Weegee, propelling the faux Italian up comically high.

Johannes gathered himself and stood up, leaning up against a building. he saw the wailing Weegee, mustache charred, falling from the sky. He reached into the first pocket he found, and it contained -- 4 ball peen hammers. nice. grabbing two in each massive hand, he threw them at the falling Weegee, spinning artfully as shuriken. the four metal heads all made contact.

You better.

-------

The metal hammers slammed into Weegee's stomach with great percision as Weegee fell through the air, a trail of smoke behind him. Weegee tried to catch himself as he landed, but instead he missed the landing, tumbling onto his back and coughing up blood. Two of the metal hammers had fallen next to him, which he quickly swiped up and chucked at Johannes. Johannes easily dodged them, but Weegee had picked up the third and threw that one where he had dodged, connecting with him on the shoulder. Weegee knew that getting in close was an option, but a not very smart one. Weegee instead raised his fist in the air, which began glowing with an onimous green fire. He swung it in an arch and a green fireball flew through the air, hitting Johannes. It didn't do much, but he staggered back, a bit suprised at the plumbers projectile.

Weegee began running forwards, all the while throwing fireballs. Johannes was struck by a few, but quickly swung a nearby plank and absorbed the attack. The italian jumped, attemting to chop Johannes in the forehead, but instead Johannes retalliated with his massive forearm. It hit Weegee square in the chest, but he held on to the arm. The force of the blow caused Weegee to swing around his arm like a bar, and he jumped off and double kicked Johannes in his nose.
