Different themes yes, Yaoi is basicaly romantic relationships between men, and ****** is basicly japanese for perverted, allso used for labeling something pornographic.

Tip from Me: Get your Yaois and Yuris straight as fast as possible, you don't want to have naked males when you are looking for naked females.
