Well I'm off to go start saving Rise's ass.
I really like how they fixed up and built upon a lot of the elements in P3, like the knowledge/expression/etc needed to say certain things to people and stuff. There are a lot of things gameplay-element-wise that are much better in this game.
I still prefer the full moon operations to the rescuing-some-schmuck-who-got-shoved-in-a-tv thing, but that's mostly because I liked exploring places outside of Tartarus during the dark hour.
Also I totally figured out that connection (I was referring to the fact that [semispoiler]
all of the doodz who get thrown into the tv appear on the news or the tv beforehand
but that could just as easily be yet another false connection. I'm still proud of myself for figuring it out. I like solving mysteries before the game people do. :{3 )
Soo, this game is fun. It's pretty awesome with improved gameplay and elements, and I can't wait until the ****ing insane plottwist that is going to happen because it's an RPG and there is always a ****ing insane plottwist. I just hope it's genuinely awesome. Because so far the game is. :{D

I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

Personia 3 managed well with the cast, but then i think they did some tweaking with the controls in 4, but i can't play those games, which is a little sad because i am a RPG maniac, the thing is that i saw a poster with one of the characters in a bear suit saying "this is beary beary serious" and that goes through my head the whole time i try to buy the game.
Not that its a bad pun (im on the same level) but it have grown to stay in my mind and i think it will stay there for a while.

I laugh at the people who whine about how Teddy doesn't use the same puns in english as he does in Japanese.Jere wrote:Personia 3 managed well with the cast, but then i think they did some tweaking with the controls in 4, but i can't play those games, which is a little sad because i am a RPG maniac, the thing is that i saw a poster with one of the characters in a bear suit saying "this is beary beary serious" and that goes through my head the whole time i try to buy the game.

OK, I just finished the game, and I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I think I figured out what the point was where you decide which ending it was:
if you decide to push Namatame in the tv, or to let him live or what
Right? Well, I figured this out AFTER I chose the no-real-final-boss option, and the ending was incredibly anticlimactic and 'wtf its over? ...wut'
So, if you choose the ending that gets you the REAL final boss, do they actually EXPLAIN anything?
Like seriously:
What is the midnight channel? What was up with the evil fog from the other world appearing in their world at the end?
Are these wrapped up in the REAL real ending?
Also, stupid hospital work didn't increase my courage fast enough. Dangit, I wanted to date Naoto. D}:

^ That's good. The non-true ending was 'wtf' as hell. I kept just thinking "dear lord, that's IT?"
Because the buildup was all super climactic and then it was FWOOSH down the toilet.
I'll probably get around to playing the REAL ending soonish.

The real ending explains it all right before the final battle.
It's actually kind of sad when you see Izanami use that death curse thing, then your allies (Which in my case were Yukiko, Chie, and Naoto) all push him out of the way saying "NO NOT NOW!!!" and one-by one are sucked into oblivion.
