Ah, so is the extension for my battle with Metal Man still in effect? If so, I'll try to conjure something up soon. I would have posted sooner, but when I read the latest post in our battle, I thought that it had ended.

Man, I'm sooo glad that I don't have to go through this torturous waiting. Now I'm just gonna sit here drinking some sweet tea, and relax on the thought that I don't have to wait on judgement anymore, and that the pain of waiting has been lifted from my shoulders. :p
Envy me don't you? :p

RL takes priority over the net, though I'll admit I'm abit annoyed by the delay myself.

I prefer to wait patiently. Telling the judges you're impatient is probably only going to distract them from judging.

I forgot again. :(

Luigi007 vs. Trickster-kun

Luigi007

Your Attacks were basic. You never really upped the ante beyond the backstory and the stage. But, the description was nice and any misspellings I found didn't detract from the match at all. It matched Scorpion pretty well, and his attacks, even when they were basic, were a good start and the atmosphere amplified it.

Again, it seemed like a nice warm-up before the real carnage. Good Job.

SCORE: 7/10

Trickster-Kun

I felt that you carried alot of the battle in the two turns you had. You had a nice Character and his moves were pretty interesting. You matched Loot's punches with your own in the second post, and I have to say, it was pretty nice to include the sound effects to speed up the match, though they also kind of attract alot of attention and can detract from the rest of the paragraph.

Still, I have to say I enjoyed reading yours and Loot's, but picking favorites is my job.

SCORE: 7.5/10

WINNER: Trickster-Kun

Metal Man Vs. IRHP o god.

Metal Man

Well, you didn't take complete control of the match like last time, though your attacks weren't any less impressive than last time. You still controlled the field, though it was purely for a third view into the fight instead of an attack against both fighters. The only spelling error I found didn't really detract from your paragraphs of pain, and everything you did made the match very interesting.

Like Last time, you did an amazing job.

SCORE: 9/10

IRHP

You were pretty good at rolling with Metal Man's punches. All the way, you seemed to follow The Ninja's moves nicely and fought Metal Man on even ground to the end. Sure, you're posts are shorter but you still did quite a bit of damage to Metal Man when it counted.

Either way, you have done much better than against Weegee.

SCORE: 8/10

WINNER: Metal Man

Vapor Vs. Repster

Vapor

Your intro and attacks fit themselves pretty well. While I am sad that the fight didn't last longer, I can say that you did really well. The Regeneration could be seen as a little cheap, but It's not like you were using it cheaply. You didn't do too much "attacking" but I liked what I saw, as it was some good attacks.

Good show.

SCORE: 7.5/10

Repster

Duke Nukem? Well, okay you played him pretty well. No need for flips and dodging when you can stick your boot up their ass I'm sure. Anyway, you captured Nukem to a T (complete with circle strafing), and your attacks all worked to set things up. Again, there wasn't much, but I liked what I saw so far.

If only we could see what was next >_>

SCORE: 8/10

WINNER: repster

Psychokid Vs. Acradius

Psychokid

You seemed to struggle against Acradius the whole time, which I'll assume was your intention. Most of your posts covered your backstory, which is good, especially when it came to an unorthodox character like him. I have to say, you never got too good of a chance to show yourself off, or rather you didn't get the chance, but I have to say that you did some good roleplaying of a normal human.

SCORE: 8/10

Acradius

That was a strange turn of events that you gave yourself a reason for being there and a plan to fight the doctor. You never really did anything beyond some physical attacks, but it was still pretty good. Your writing is still standard Gunjin Veteran fare, though the seriousness of it helped seperate it a bit.

SCORE: 8.5/10

WINNER: Acradius

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was amazing what the variety of fighters that participated in this tourney. Sure, you still have the generic fighters, but there were also Time Travelers, Soldiers, Scarecrows, Police Officers. Almost all at once, Tazy had fogotten how many generic "Invincible" Shmucks he faced. Schmuck being a derogatory term for every fighter that overestimated themselves to hell and back. In these fights, Tazy saw the glimmer that brought him here again and again.

The Fights.

Howdy again, kiddles, thanks for waiting. I know this has taken a long time, longer than I would have liked, so I'm going to keep this pretty short and sweet to save us all from hours of writing up my judging post.

Alpha

L007 vs. Trickster

L00t

I liked you intro, and while your description overall was nicely done, I will be honest and say that by using a pre-established character, I felt you were held back by it. I really believe you could have so much more diversity by building your own character from the ground up, and you would then have a lot more freedom to explore their abilities.

6.5/10

Trickster

I've noted it on almost all your posts so far: the use of onomatopoeia (the sound effects, particularly of gunfire) have a way of dragging me out of your story. I like the damage you gave and took in this battle, and it feels like you really took on board what I said last round about giving a beatdown. ;] Good work.

7/10

Metal Man vs. IRHP

Metal Man

Wow. Your posts were epic, in every sense of the word. Your constant story-telling and ongoing battling is really fantastic, and you take your battles to new heights. I always appreciate how much consideration you give to the damage your character took. Excellent job.

8/10

IRHP

You did a great job of fighting back in every situation and I was so pleased to see how much more excitement you brought to this battle. There was a lot more to your posts, more meat in the fight, but next time, make sure you write a proper introduction to your character (rather than link us elsewhere).

7/10

Beta

Vapor vs. Repster

Vapor

You use an interesting and exciting character in a great way. I liked the acknowledgement you gave to the damage received, and the counter-attacks you came up with. Very unique and amusing to read.

7.5/10

Repster

I would definitely like to see you write about the injuries that your opponent has inflicted upon you at the start of each counter-post. You used Duke very well, and seemed to really get into the feel of his character.

6.5/10

Psychokid vs. Acradius

Psychokid

Your character has an interesting personality, and I was looking forward to a little more from him, but there wasn't many posts for you to fully show off the capabilities. I always like when the surroundings are well-used in a fight, too, which I think you definitely were going for.

6.5/10

Acradius

The backstory made the setting really mean something, and you always have great attention to detail. I still want some more raw power shown, but perhaps we'll never entirely see that. ;] Good work.

7.5/10

Thank you, and goodnight.
