^Ah, you mean Jecht. I hope that's what he meant, at least...

Well, considering FFI is 20 years old, you have to give the story writing a little break. But in my opinion, I did think Garland's pre-battle speech was kind of awesome.

I completely screwed up my FFX experience by doing this. I went all Sphere Grid crazy before entering Sin and wound up one-shotting Seymor and Jecht. Normally I don't go level crazy until my second playthrough so that really upsets me.

I'm kind of surprised no one mentioned Lyon and the Demon King from FE: The Sacred Stones. Lyon was just a horribly written character that tried so hard to make you feel sorry for him and failed so badly at it, and the Demon King was just too cliche and too easy to beat.

It wasn't Yu Yevon, and it wasn't Jecht, but the giant fire monster whose hands regenerate. Well, technically, I think it was Jecht or something, but it was the monster...I suck.

^ One shot? What, did you have the best equipment, max leevl, and some badass combos on the sphere grid or what?! I couldn't have did that if I wanted to.

Auron, that's because Beldo's worse. :P Apparently I heard some rumours that they actually intended to have a monster be the final boss of Thracia 776 but apparently scrapped him and put in Beldo instead, who was way weaker. I mean heck...you can CAPTURE him.

The Demon king really requires you to just have sacred weapons to kill him, and even then he can still block your advance by summoning monsters and can summon Dragon-zombies (Which can pose a good threat)

Beldo can be killed by anyone with practically any weapon. And if you get him to attack with "Stone", then you can literally just run right on up and smack him into oblivion and he doesn't even fight back.

But it was still outrageously easy due to the addition of the Valni Tower and Lagdou Ruins. They made it too easy to max both level and supports in that game. You could take down the Demon King in two turns with three people. That's not exactly a climactic finish.

I've never played any FE released before The Sword of Seals, so I wouldn't know about Beldo.

I only played one Japanese GBA FE, the two English ones, and the GCN one. Which were all damn great games, and pretty damn tough too (well, the GCN FE was too easy).

You played Sword of seals? Then did you ever have a like level 13 Roy two-shot Idoun? XD

oh yeah another anticlimax final boss....The Dark King if you knew the right strategy. XD I actually discovered it by accident. (Honest - I thought the game glitched)

I'm bad with subtitles, but I think so. And I never two-shot...any boss. I always save up my items, weapons and whatnot for the final battles. And I suck at grinding in FE (sometimes there's no way to do so, like in the GCN one) so I have a tough time. Especially because, like a fool, even when I have limited EXP, I will dole it out to my favorites instead of making one badass team.

Also I don't understand the character Supports, so I have a hard time in those games, since I never let anyone die and try to get every character.

Idoun didn't have a horrible concept though. Lyon was just lame.
