I'll be using Kyle Franz he's in the book of warriors page #13. He's a dual character the post was made by T3hDarkness.
He was training in his usual spot secluded in the Dry Mountains. There are always thunderclouds overhead and the rain never comes. The lightning falls randomly among the valley. He had never had the Hunters find him here. He always thought it was to dangerous to attempt a search. His energy stores are almost full and he had finished up his training for the day almost completely off guard. The sweat and exhaustion were mounting as his last blow struck the practice dummy as he screamed "Pulsing Wave!" The dummy was a blackened crisp as the lightning energy resounded back into him. He fell back onto his back on the ground with a soft thud. "What a day, what a day."
1vs1 Match (fairly new player)

Feed… Must... Feed…
High in the dry mountains, where no natural creatures dwelled, a pair of deep-set eyes were peering up over a large, jagged-edged boulder, surveying the barren landscape leading to the hollows just before the peak. It clung to the rock with claws, long and sharp, it’s unusually large hands at the end of gangly, skeletal limbs. It’s bowed hind legs, for the most part without any sort of flesh save for the rotting morsels between the creature’s toes, lead up to a crooked spine which in turn lead to broad shoulders, then again to those terrible claws, no doubt useful for whatever foul purpose this creature could concoct. It’s flesh-devoid, large-jawed face, teeth sharp and stained, stared hungrily up at the mountain-top.
It had been days since it last tasted the blood and flesh which made up it’s daily meals when it had stalked greener pastures. For reasons still unclear, it had ventured up into the mountains and was now lying in wait for prey that may never come.
Must…
Its thoughts were growing increasingly feverish, the futility of this undertaking growing increasingly obvious to the creature’s predatory mind.
Feed!
In a flurry of frustration and rotting musculature, the desperate creature poured its anger into the boulder that had previously served as its perch, knocking large portions of the seemingly rather solid rock onto the ground, which it further pulverized into the dust to distract itself from it’s gripping hunger. With a ravenous look on it’s already ghoulish face, it actively sought the strange scent which had lured it up into the barren mountain in the first place.
Where… Find…
A sound. The sound of lightning, yet unlike the great bolts of white hot energy that split the sky constantly. This sound did not come from the sky above, no… It came from nearby, on the ground. But what did it mean? Cautiously, and with renewed vigor, it crept closer to the disturbance. Soon, it could hear clear as day… sounds. Glorious sounds. The sounds of a living creature, the sounds of a meal…
Found… Kill...
Already salivating, the creature peered above another conveniently-placed boulder, at the delicious-looking morsel sitting on the ground a few feet from a charred combat dummy, the thick smell of the labors and training the meal had been undergoing filled the ghoul’s nostrils, and in a moment of hunger-induced frenzy…
“DIE!” shouted the ghoul in a low, hoarse tone as it leapt with all the strength it could muster from it’s half-decomposed muscles, it’s right claw set to tear right through the throat of Kyle Franz.

Sorry nets are down...don't know when I'll be on but I'll be on.
Only noticing the... whatever it was a split second before the grotesque claw would have hit him. By leaning back ever so slightly so that the claw sctratched his neck causing him to bleed slightly. He jumped backwords to warrent another attack from his assailant.
"What the h*** are you!" His concern less on that it just attacked him and more on what it was. His gaurd was still up when he raised his hands to feel the scratch which left a spatter of blood on his hands and when he lowered his hands a tangable energy started to form within his forefinger. He ducked low and his stance changed. This was his training grounds and no matter who this...this thing is he had to deal with it before the bounty hunters found the way up.
"LIGHTNING RIPPER!" He shifted forward into a crouch and was gone. His feet moving so fast it apeared as if he was teleporting there was no way this thing could stop it. His foot hit a rock. D***, he thaught. He stumbled and corrected. No, he was to close his aim would be off but it would still sever his legs. "Eat this!" Smiling he swung his arm to deliver the blow.
