Looking for a fight (old member)

#1

Post by Dark Seraphim » Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:49 am

I used to be a member on this forum quite some time ago, very similar nickname as well, although I highly doubt anyone would recognize me at this point, it was quite some time ago, probably a couple years in fact. In any regard, I am hoping for a good battle, hoping for someone who knows how to type and storytell, and give me a reason to stay and play the battle through. Its been awhile for me so I will do my best not to be cheap, and to play fair.

Let me know if you would like to fight, and if you do accept, please be someone who can post, and not someone who will quit after 3 or 4 posts.

You want old? You got old. I was here before there was a battlefield, a part of the original Nintendoland Battlefield Crew, and quasi-fought in the original Hyrule Battlefield series.

I don't quite remember the name, but, it could have been up to 9 years ago. It's vaguely familiar.

I accept ze challenge. Who shall post in the battlefield and such? I like to usually be second, though I can post the whole thing in myself if you wish.

^^Pardon my asking, but I think I may have seen you around... What was your PDN? I think it would help refresh my memory.

My very first nickname was Megaton Gengar when I first joined, but then I changed it to Seraph. I do remember you, Galefore, from way back when, but I won't be offended if you do not remember me.

Seems I have a challenger, although I didn't specifically mean i was challenging an older member, but was saying I was an older member that just came back. Although I certainly will not turn down a fight. I believe I feel like fighting in an area that's both an environmental hazard, visually pleasing, as well as slightly cliche. As a result I propose the battle will occur on a floating isle, a few city blocks in size floating at least a mile above the earth below, the isle covered in the ruins of an ancient civilization, sort of Atlantis crossed with ancient Greek/Roman sort of architecture.

~~~Fight Start~~~
A blackened figure seems to be struggle for altitude, his form shapeless although humanoid in appearance, its hard to tell it he's flying, wafting, or simply falling as his body moves about unnaturally. Some sort of vapor trail seems to be emitting from the figure's 'limbs' as he seems to be at the mercy at any high current or tailwind that plays about his body.
A land mass seems to take form ahead, a sudden and unexpected terrain in such a place, as if someone had taken a hunk of earth and just lifted it from the ground and just let it remain in the air. The underside of the floating island seems to be covered in slippery moss and tangled roots, gnarled together in a beautiful design against the hard dirt and rock that seemed to have settled some time ago from being adrift for so long. The upper side of the isle itself seems quite different than its below, as its littered with the remains of stone structures. The floor, along with the green grass and soft dirt that hadn't blew away thanks to the air currents, has stone tile making the floor, some whole and over parts cracked and ripped apart. Tall, slender towers and columns litter around the surface, leading to the highest point in a spire that points straight up to the sky. There are other structures, small enclosures, almost like temples, stone arches, and other slabs of stone and marble that have fallen and are no longer recognizable.
The shadowy humanoid seems to coil about itself like a flickering flame as its direction suddenly changes, and it heads right for the island itself, moving towards it at an impressive speed. It's body connected, and seems to tumble and roll against the fresh greenery to the broken tile, coming to a stop in large patch of dirt and stone between the crevasse of the broken tiles. The body moves about, first seeming to have no shape, then coiling back around, seemingly kneeling, his arm pressed against the ground in a point, as if disfigured or holding some sort of weapon. The vapors pour out as it stands, the figure of a humanoid becoming more obvious as he stretches his body to full height.
His form, now at full height, seems to act more sentient than before, and its shape takes on more definition. Swaying limbs form into actual arms, the tips of which curl into points, legs to stand on seem to arch slightly, as he lifts up onto his toes, his feet ending in talons as the texture of scales starts to wash over his skin. From the base of his spine a lengthy fifth limb spears out and whips about, the vapors ceasing completely as his head, shaped almost like some sort of dragon's head, although more humanoid, turns this way and that. Suddenly the blackness slips away, and his colors are replaced with red, blood red mark markings showing a contrast of darkness in his scales. His eyes glow the same deep red as a pair of black horns push from his temples. Although its mostly a lot of grandeur, the demon can't help himself sometimes, as his clothing forms over his reformed body.
OOC: I remember the old name, Megaton Gengar. Welcome back, I guess?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Through the darkness of the aether a twisted bolt of lightning shone with the hideous torment of a thousand dead souls. It ripped through the peaceful clouds and struck the ancient stone, rending it to bits and creating a crater about ten feet in diameter.
The crater burned with the fires of destroyed logic and people driven mad by their fate. The vile smoke spun unnaturally, making an atonal whistling noise as a dire form emerged from the murky depths. The dragon-person would soon see a silver finger linger outside the cloud, to be joined by an arm. An elemental of pure metal, perhaps?
But it was no ordinary elemental. Jointed limbs and sophisticated noises emerged as the fire died and the smoke imploded, forming a seven foot tall monolith of flesh and steel. Seeing for the first time in this realm, the faded, soulless blue eyes of this being pierced their way through a thin, powder-blue glass visor and stared down at the dragonesque demon across from him with a certain twisted quality.
He raised his right fist, clenching it and unclenching it like an unthinking automaton. His air issued in and out through a filter, sounding like a steam furnace. Freshly teleported, the tell-tale marks of his inter-dimensional vehicle could be seen on his wrist. A twisted, broken clock set to an arbitrary number of hexadecimal numbers blinked as if it had been perpetually unset.
The man stared some more. A moment went by as he began to approach his demonic foe, walking with one triumphant stride after another. Like some lost coworker he spoke. "Not much business lately, eh?" He rubbed his still sparking left wrist-clock. "Well, I'm afraid I need to greet you in the traditional Metal Man way." His armor glinted with a shine much like blood as he stopped 5 feet short of his foe and stretched both limbs slowly.
Many clanks and cracks were heard as dirt and dust and dried blood fell from the man's joints. Thusly unburdened, the man took out a single, shiny silver pistol and aimed to shoot at the demon's complex face. "Do you like it medium rare or extra crispy?" He chuckled madly to himself as he put his silver pointer finger around the little trigger.
"Sorry to cut your traditional greeting short-" as the demon whips his head out of the close range of your pistol and flips back, slamming his forepaws to the dirt with a heavy thud, pulling his body up. Before you can get a shot off against this form as he moves the whip-like appendage of his tail coils around the barrel of your gun and yanks on it, tugging it down with a fierce strength, even as a man made of metal your aim is rudely veered off course, leave any shots for you to fire to harmlessly break the riles against the ground.
His hind legs follow suit where his arms left off, flipping him around before leaping off and away from you, having taken in his surrounding he saw the thick base of the column about ten feet away, sticking out of the ground like a sore. He kicks his legs back and slams his talons against the cold, mossy stone as he have the chance to lift your gun at him again. He pushes off though, and spreads a pair of large, leathery wings from his back, only halfway to guide his movements as he shoots out through the force of his coiled leg muscled toward your metal mass.
A clawed hand meets with your face, the other against your neck as his scales stroke over your metal skin. The rest of his body follows suit, and his back arches and his powerful legs draw forward once more. One talon laden foot kicked against your chest, his knee pushes own against your abdomen, putting all the force of his leap and weight against your body.
The demon attempts to knock you off balance, as he throws himself into you, adding push to shove as his recoiled leg against your chest bounds right back off and launches the demon airborne, hoping the force would be enough to sprawl you onto your back as he gains an aerial advantage.
The man grinned oddly as his foe ripped his gun away and knocked him over. He was deadly silent as the demon went to do his thing. But then something strange occurred when the demon went to leap off--he had caused some significant damage to this creaking abomination with his previous maneuvers, but for whatever reason he wasn't getting off the ground.
Ah, there was the problem. A gnarled robotic hand digging into the flesh of his leg, his entire body stretched by the stress of trying to jump off and instead being ripped down by a living boat anchor.
"I must apologize--I had ye confused for someone much stupider, who would have let me talk and shoot them to death while explaining Shakespeare. You... deserve my full attention." Of course, his foe wasn't going to sit there and kicked him off, now still in the air. The nice, fresh, but cold air was quite nice, especially when one was not too close to the clinging, horrific breath of that man-machine.
The man with the empty eyes solemnly bowed, and then straightened up. In that moment he had wrenched a wrench straight out of his own shoulder, leaving a characteristic wrench-shaped gap. Even stranger... the gap closed up and soon it was like it never was there.
The man cooly hissed through his ventilation as his opponent was free-moving in the air. He spun the wrench around a bit, creating a slight gust, and with the dim sun glinting off his faint visor, he uttered an unhearable curse and marched towards his demonic foe, muttering some more.
"I reckon I'd get a hard job after all those stupidly easy ones. All right, I know you have something else fancy up your sleeve. Do your worst..." He swung uselessly at the air, missing his foe by a good five feet. "No way I can just smack you out of the air, after all. But if you come to me, well.." He idly smashed a pothole in the ground with but one fluid swing of his arm. "You'll wish you were the stone paving."
He fidgeted with his still-free left hand, indicating in a way he had his own sinister plan, the invisible gears in his mind turning as the introduction gave way to what was going to be the heart of a pitched battle.
The red demon flexed his foot as he recovered in the air, granted the pull to his leg was nothing to worry over, as he just rolled in his foot about, making the tendons creak as he loosened up the muscles. He admitted he had underestimated the mechanical man, he had left himself open for that, without a doubt. Although, it did do the job in helping him gauge the talent of his metal foe, "you give me quite a compliment, rest assured I'll make sure to pay you back with the same courtesy."
The vapors of darkness appear from the demon's forearms as his eyes seem to take on a fiendish glow, staring down at his opponent, his wings flapping idly to keep his elevation. The blackness seems to take shape in his clawed fingers, as the vapors pour out into his palms and continue outwards. At first it seems the beast is simply holding a pair of bludgeons, but as the vapors flicker and wave, their shape becomes clear. They amorphous blobs grow hard, becoming slender in one way and spreading out in the other, stretching out in up in a curve as he closes his claws around them, a pair of ebony black sabers in his hands.
Despite your warning the demon heeds no restraint as he takes from the sky to the land in a swoop, careful to keep his legs and tail out of arm's reach as he delivers himself onto you with his lips drawn back and showing off a foul, toothy smile of sharp fangs. He comes down right blade first and slams it against the wrench in your own grip, the other come around soon after, knocking the other end of the metallic weapon, now pressing at both ends and keeping it from moving.
He can see your other robotic hand moving though, not stupid, as he steps back and draws one blade away only to deliver it to your forearm. Both blades pressing to metal, as the other pulls away from the wrench and takes up onto your opposite forearm, ebony digging against metal as it seems to become a test of might, the demon utilizing his own strength against yours.
Regardless of the struggle though, it would seem there would be an impasse, or so it would seem. Wing unfurl and the demon's hind legs lift off the ground, as you can now push him back. As you look into the scaled beast's face though, you notice his blood red eyes suddenly burn violently. Before you can react to the sudden glare the demon's mouth opens, and with a flick of flame in his throat, his belly erupts with a hellfire, blown into your metal face, burning away down against you, any movement to remove your arms only would succeed in shoving the demon away and out of your reach for a reversal.
OOC: I was tired, now I continue.
-----
His foe showing most impressive tactics, the Man was having a slight bit of difficulty. Especially with two swords holding his hands... of course, plan B had already been initiated, for he knew his foe would try his best to immobilize, injure, or otherwise distract him.
Amongst the flames and the fire, when it seemed like Metal Man could no longer bear to try to push back on the swords while burning up from the heat, an electric buzzer went off. If his foe was looking closely, he could see a wretched smile suddenly appear on his foe's face.
"Well done, but I am not unprepared for such shows of strength. Now, however, you shall meet something quite nasty."
The man's arms suddenly became like electrical conduits, possessed by horrific electrical current. Current which, whether or not the swords conducted it, seemingly leaped off his arms and at his foe to shock the demon. Of course... his foe was a demon, so he did not expect the viciously curling waves of white lightning to kill or even do more than distract his foe.
But in the cutthroat world of battle, even an instant of distraction can turn an entire match.
His foe at least partially surprised by lightning flying out of his foe's arms, Metal Man wrenched both his arms 45 degrees inward relative to his position. Of course, the well made pinning manuever still held them... ...but his arms weren't the danger this time.
"Let us see how much longer you can hold on to me before you fall apart, demon!" He laughed. A strange visor popped out of his half-molten helmet, covering his eyes... ...it powered up before his foe could burn it and shot two red hot lasers... directly at his foe's eyes. That HAD to hurt, assuming his foe did not possess laser-proof eyelids.
Of course. Perhaps the demon would continue holding or try to deflect them with deft head movements. Metal Man was not going to take a risk, and so opening the final chapter of this bizarre barrage... Metal Man stepped backwards. The swords dug in still, making a horrifying screeching noise as they moved against the metal.
Then, suddenly, Metal Man's mindless, robotic hands grasped the blades by their sharp ends and held on, using the cutting ability of the swords to get them deeply stuck. "Your tactics, however... take advantage of the weakness of mostly flesh beings. I am afraid... like you... I am an ABOMINATION!" He would shove forward, his wrench having been dropped (quite painfully, I might add) on his own feet in the shuffle. Now he was mad, as he tried to force the Demon's own swords back at him, upwards, and then even trying to dig the points into the demon's shoulders.
Mechanical blood oozed. Systems hissed and warning devices buzzed. Metal Man ignored them all as he leaned at his foe with his enormous mass, in an attempt to use his superior weight and momentum to crush the swords into his foe's shoulders. And, if not stopped... he could very well just begin to fall over on his foe, potentially dealing more crushing damage.
The laser visor on Metal's head popped off and exploded near the Demon to boot... a weird little afterthought from a metallic madman.
"Let's say we call this round 2. Can you take the gravity? Ha ha ha ha."
The shot to his eyes had done their damage, but not enough to completely blind him, his body wasn't laser-proof, but it was resilient. Black blood drips down from his eye sockets, as if the foul demon was crying tears of ebony. His grits his sharp fangs, the fire subsiding from his throat although embers seem to flicker through his lips as he pushes back against his own blades. The points and top edges start to vapor, and the beast grins, even as they press into his own shoulders they do no damage, it seems damaging the abomination with his own weaponry would not be as easy is it would seem.
Although painted on his lips was that large, sharp smile, the red demon knew if his metallic foe meant to body press him he very well could do some damage, or at least keep him trapped from any sort of retaliation.
His course of action had already been decided even before the explosion, as he suddenly coils his legs, planting his feet against your abdomen, listening to your taunt. "You may call it anything you want," he says sharply, as the explosion rocks against him his legs kick up and his blades suddenly start to smoke, turning to vapor, losing their corporeality. His fingers close against nothingness, as do yours, the sharp blades phasing from your bleeding hands. His body kicks up and he launches his first leg forward, smashing his shin against your head brutally, only to follow suite with the second, knocking you aside and away as he leaps off from you from the barrage of kicks.
The explosion helps him push away from himself and give distance between the two, although it would be foolish to say it had no affect on the demon, it was still a point black explosion, leaving the beast panting, fortunately to be able to land on his feet, although quickly taking to his knee. "Gravity? I won't give you the chance this time. You were correct in assuming I had more then just brute strength, and I suppose I've insulted you enough by holding back."
The blackness returns, vapors raising from the demon's claws, over his palms, however this time nothing seems to manifest in his grasp. Although still catching his breath, that wide, fang-filled grin looks at you as you gain your footing after his assault. His first hand slams into the ground, as the shadows disperse from his fingers into the cold earth and tile before, spreading for just a moment before it shoots forward, like a cobra against the floor and racing right towards you.
The blackness stops and seems to group against the earth around you, seeming to simply do nothing until the ground cracks and the dirt is shaken, and before you realize its intent large pillars of the rock itself bellow upwards like a geyser, slamming into your right side and arm, knocking you off balance. It would appear that strange blackness the demon favors had some sort of rudimentary control over whatever object he can manifest it against, as a second hand comes down and a second vapor trail moves against the battle floor. Once more it swells against the earth, before a thick pillar of rock and dirt is brought up against your torso, or whatever part of your body it strikes if you bring up your arms to defend yourself. The force this time is enough not just to knock your back but send you flying a few short feet before forced to trip backwards, and sprawled out on your back again.
"You asked me if I could handle the gravity, did you not?" the red scaled fighter chuckles a little, as the blood against his cheeks already seems to be mostly dried, his fingertips still smoking with ebony shadow. "You should be asking yourself the same thing," and slams both hands down this time, feeling the darkness escape his body and course over the dirt and rock, moving towards you, then around you, behind you. As you look behind, the shadows reach their target, the base of a huge column, its foundation already cracked and thick with grass and moss, its force seeming to be holding up the corner of a roof of an ancient building. The earth rumbles, and the ebony performs its task as he rocks upwards against the base of the column at its rear. The sudden shift causes the marble monstrosity to crack with a break of dust, the gap seeming to expand as the weight of the heavy ceiling finally seems overburden its support, the ceiling as well cracking away.
The monolith suddenly slides forward from its cracked base and foundation, breaking a portion of the ceiling it was once supporting away. It seems to wobble just slightly, as if it was attempting to steady itself and stay in its upright position. It fails, however, and with a slight turn starts to rush towards the ground, looking to take the space that Metal man is currently laid out under.
Having been battered by several rock attacks, the Metal Man was rather dented. However, in that time his hands had staunched their own bleeding. And here came an immense ceiling, flying at him.
His arm glowed momentarily, before he hurled an immense punch. The ceiling was thoroughly hit, and sent flying back at the Demon. Well, a big chunk of it. The rest collapsed just inches away from the Metal Man, as the Metal Man had ripped a piece out of it with his massive punch.
Breathing heavily, the man raised his right hand. A great magnet turned on; his wrench flew through the air erratically, ripping through part of the collapsed rubble as it went, before reaching Metal Man's arm. "Although I cannot manipulate earth or gravity... as you would expect... I can manipulate MYSELF!"
He took a hop and then a leap, rocketing over the collapsed building and landing near his foe. It was not his landing but the loud shake it made which was a problem--if his foe wasn't incorporeal already or something, it could knock his foe right over from the shake. It also knocked over some nearby ruins.
He readied his wrench-arm, knowing his foe would try some more cunning tricks any moment. So what did he do? He hurled his wrench over and away from his foe's head. "Oops."
His wrist magnetized. A bolt of energy flew from it to the wrench, and in the process would zap and bend around the demon as it caused the wrench to magnetically fly back towards Metal Man--and at the demon in the process!
Naturally, the demon deflected the wrench. But like a boomerang... it spun around and bounced back.
Within moments, the demon was being attacked by a super-fast flying wrench, which relentlessly flew at him from angle after angle. Sooner or later, it would outspeed the demon... WHAMWHAMWHAMWHAM like a diabolical helicopter, it would brutally smash and crash and zap the demon as Metal Man made furious flinging motions with his arm, such that it continued flying around erratically, zapping things, and crashing into them with the weight of a car transmission.
"No more warnings. I smash you now!" He made one last movement, and the wrench flew from above at full speed, along with gravity on its side... how would the demon react to this new twist?
The demon reacted quickly, a she saw the offending metal tool rocketing down to finish their combat early. He draws in, feeling the flicks of embers fleeing through his teeth, before his jaw opens and erupting from his throat comes a pillar of heat and flame, rising to meet the plummeting weapon. At first, the attack seems to do not much of anything as the tool drops into the pillar for flame and moving to connect with the demon, controlled by Metal man's magnetic field. Suddenly, it seems to waver, and its fall slows, and even seems to struggle just to remain heading downwards. With his head up and mouth open in his eruption he cannot gauge his adversary's reaction to this as he continues to lay on the heat.
After just a few more seconds the tool loses its battle against the demon's attack and instead of being sent down as a projectile is thrown back up into the air, its usual shining surface smoldering and glowing orange-red.
The demon looks back up as the fires die down, panting softly as his fingertips start to tense, lifting one up high as black vapors seem to emanate from his pores. "You may be able to manipulate yourself, but any metal, even yours, when its heated to a glowing red state cannot be affected by magnetism . . . " His shadowed hand suddenly clenched around something, as a shaft of ebony shoots out from either side of his fist, one end ending abruptly with a blunt tip, the other shooting out and forming a large curbed blade.
The demon hasn't forgotten about the glowing red wrench, however, even thrown back up it would have to be subjected to gravity eventually. He doesn't wait for you to make another move, as he moves his own, stepping back and pulling the black spear like some sort of baseball bat. The wrench twirls down, and with a swing of his arms he sends the blade of his weapon crashing against, sending it back towards you, leaving a smoke trail in its wake from its intense heat.
Not satisfied by just throwing a chunk of hot metal at you, the beast coils his legs and launches himself into the air, wings unfurled as he takes to the air for just a moment, spinning the weapon and gripping it back with both hands, its tip pointed downwards. Whatever you did with the wrench, whether you let it hit you, caught it, or simply jumped out of the way was not a concern to him as his wings pull back and drops him down to the earth where you stand. The edge of his spear stands ready as he falls, his weight aiding gravity as its now him plummeting to land a blow against the mechanical monster.
"You may fight with all your strength, but you will never surpass me!"
The Man stood still, the wrench clattered against him. The Demon followed soon after, ready to spear him. But Metal Man wasn't going to just stand there and die. He reached up and with all his might braced for impact.
SLAM! The Demon smashed into Metal Man with terrific force. But the clanking man of steel had withstood the blow, and in his movement had caused the dangerous, pointy end of the spear to miss him. He glowed as he tapped into unused reserves of energy.
"Enough playing. You will fall NOW!" A loud humming occurred as Metal Man reached to his left side, ripping out a huge axe with a pole almost 7 feet tall, brushing his opponent away. "If you wish to have a melee arms battle, so be it... pray you know enough to keep your arms intact and die from decapitation alone!"
The man snarled and leaped at the demon, swinging the gigantic axe with its 3 foot wide, 2 foot tall curved blades (one on each side) at his foe. Naturally, the Demon blocked with the spear--but the momentum was enough to push the Demon and his spear backwards! Clearly, he had only been using half his strength before--and that was enough to force the Demon to use some of his stronger magic. Now the Demon saw the flashy golden axe, whizzing through the air at him again and again, SLAMMING into his spear over and over again.
Sparks flew. The Demon began to attack back, since defending would simply get him shoved off a very high cliff. Of course, since the Demon could fly, he could very well choose to be knocked off a cliff... the battle raged as the man's mind tapped into a deeper unconscious energy that had lain dormant. He became silent as he did an elaborate triple-feint followed by a sweep which would put a hairline scratch in his foe. He stood with his axe next to him, regarding his foe regally.
...
His foe had no time to react, as before he could blink, the man had run ultra-close quarters with the axe, using its handle as a battering weapon. The spear could not block both ends of the axe at once, nor could it do so fast enough. The man's axe on top of that had heated up so much from the movement it was beginning to heat up the spear as well... the sheer heat energy would begin to burn the Demon's fingers!
"Now to show you my full power! ONSLAUGHT REVERIE!!!"
Red, green, and blue energy alternated, glowing as an aura from Metal Man, who now burned everything he touched with lethal prismatic energy. With a single slash he hit the spear so hard it almost broke, and while his foe was staring he then spun both his arms with the axe being held by both--the result?
The sharp axe and and the dull butt of the axe spun as if circular blades themselves, battering Metal's foe on the left and right arms with such force as to potentially snap them backwards. The axe side specifically threatened to make a huge diagonal cut across his foe, and anything used to block it would be savagely beaten up.
All the while, the horrific aura seemed to spread and lay waste to everything it touched, even melting the floor Metal Man had stepped on. It was up to the Demon now to save himself from this unreal assault, as a column unfortunate enough to be to the left of both of them burned before being shoved clean off and over by getting too close to the madman!
Oddly, the man appeared to be burning too...
The demon was forced back, taking step after step as the mechanical man moved in on him, his body aflame and trying to tear the demon apart. The hell beast, however, didn't seemed worried, in fact, if anything, he seemed even more determined. His spear was crashing forward, blocking, striking at the swipes made against his body, although he couldn't block them all, his skin starting to show the damage. But his skin was showing something else as well, his hands, and patches of scales across his chest and face started to darken, the once blood-red scales now a deep, foreboding black . . . and spreading.
Suddenly his wings spread, and he reveals a secret, as tucked under his large darkening scaled wings four more appear, smaller wings of black feathers seemingly hidden in the shadows of his larger wings. His eyes start to shine brighter, taking on a completely unnatural glow. Metal man's weapon crashed down and the demon takes a hard hit, being knocked several feet back, legs spread to keep himself from losing his balance, his wings acting as some sort of parachute to halt him from being completely knocked aside.
Obviously Metal man wasn't going to simply stop his assault and be satisfied to push the scaled beast back, he was out for the win, but then, so was the demon. His fingers clenched as his mechanized enemy charged to him, his jaw locked until he suddenly screams, and his body seems to erupt in its own hellfire flames, every scale giving way to a flicker of ember that surrounds his body. At first the whole effect seems lackluster, but as the demon bellows out an savage roar the flames erupt like an explosion, the last thing you can see before the demon's body is swallowed whole in the heat are that cancer of black scales enveloping his skin.
A pillar of flame rises up in the sky, a silhouette of the demon's body locked within as it stretched high into the cloudy sky, spreading the white puffs with its presence. The ground shakes beneath him and starts to break away, as the very floating island seems ready to lose a chunk of its sizable mass, as the pillar seems trying to break below the demon as well. Depending on how close the metal warrior was, he would of gotten a face full of flash fire, but unless he was already engaging the demon at the time he most likely would of made it out of the assault with little more then a few burns, assuming his own aura hadn't of kept him safe.
The ground shudders and finally breaks, as a crack rips across the edge of the isle, a good ten feet of the rock falling away as the pillar of flame suddenly swirls out and expands, only to suddenly expel and dissipate, revealing the demon. His structure has changed dramatically to his original body. He now stood at least twice his normal height, his usually slender, lithe muscles now bulky and built, giving the beats a more brutish appearance. Upon his head where there were two black horns now sit four, the original pair now thicker and longer, curved out meanly, and an additional set against the sides of his head, gnarled with their points out like a pair of ram horns. His claws and talons are now much more pronounces, and against his back all six of his wings lay present, half spread proudly, only this time even his main wings are black and feathered. His eyes give an uneasy and beastly stare, his lips pulled back revealing even sharper, longer fangs than the demon original had. In addition to everything else, his form seems differently built, his arms and legs seemingly built to two or four legged combat, his tail proportionately twice as long than the red demon form held under his spine.
The Beastial demon makes his move and rams forward, slamming his horns against the metal behemoth, feeling the heat against his horns, leaving marks as his dangerous aura still threatens even this ascended form. As Metal Man feels himself shoved back, steadying himself, the demon takes to four legs like a beast and suddenly pulls his tail around with surprising speed, slamming the bulky appendage against his metal advisory's body, sending him crashing back into the nearest marble monolith, the stress causing to crumble into rubble around Metal man.
Still on all fours the Beastial demon brings his head back towards the isle, his nostrils flared as he pulls back a deep breath, his chest heaving, before its unleashed in fury. Whereas the original demon's fire was a geyser, this beast's own version was nothing less than a firestorm. Red and black flame poured from the large demon's mouth, moving his neck and shoulders as he sweeps the stream of hellfire into the ancient civilization and his opponent, igniting everything it touched in its dark embers.
The being breathed its horrible breath, which bathed the Metal Man in fire. His suit overheating, it seemed like it would be a matter of moments before the fight was over.
However, within the flames, Metal Man glowed with his own aura, which, unbeknownst to his foe, had been burning him anyway. The burning fire ripped at him but to his mild relief, his own aura's steady burn offered him a respite, even inside a firestorm. His suit was less lucky, as it lost power and began to lose its ability to move. He had to think quick!
Adjusting his visor for the brightness before it, too, lost ability to change its adjustment, Metal Man saw one great weakness of his foe--to breathe this hideous fire required his foe to expose his breathing tract and flame producing ducts. Normally, this fire would protect them, but since Metal Man had a few moments more than any mere person who would be dust by now, he had a plan.
No metal would be able to enter the mouth and not be destroyed; indeed, nothing material or laser could stay coherent, nor could any firing device survive. But Metal knew once again the true power he had--the aura which burned him, the aura of his otherworldliness.
Without a thought, he put hits two arms together, and, within the inferno, shot his own attack--straight down his foe's nose. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, the hideously acrid, almost anti-matter like aura would do the unspeakable--burn the beast on the inside... and burn the fire ducts such that breathing fire itself would become painful!
The man stepped out of the fire, as his foe would likely become racked with coughing and hideous pain. The aura was gone from Metal Man; his joints sticking and cracking. He was on one knee, breathing heavily and choking since his ventilation systems were falling apart. His hands were unusable nubs.
But his foe had paid a hideous price for this fiery damage... for even now, the horrific energy the Metal Man had used was burning his insides, continually; breathing, fire-making, even speaking would become an ordeal as the energy even removed the ability to smell with its matter-destroying presence.
Of course, the substance was soon expelled from the foe once the fire stopped... but it would be too late. This great new form had been his foe's greatest mistake--for the larger fire ducts had increased the surface area burned by this attack by a great factor.
The man spattered and removed his melty visor, speaking directly for the first time. His voice was darker than his suit made it seem... it echoed with a non-metallic gravel tone.
"Despair, for in your haste to destroy me, you have simply exposed what I really am--an interdimensional assassin, primed and aimed to kill anything existing. Few have died who have fought me with but their base powers--few have died who have taken their time. But those who have rushed such as you... may safely count yourselves against the doomed."
He ripped off his helmet and hurled it to the ground, and it shattered into a million useless fragments. His medium-long, curly, wild whitish-brown hair twisted in the wind as he furrowed his brick-eyebrows and stood up, several joints of his armor breaking off. He took a far more nimble stance, for his encumbrance had been decreased by a number of factors. He walked over to his axe where it lay and pressed a button, causing the head to fall off as well as half of it.
Aimed with but a short length of rod, he stood before the demon again.
"Come at me with your worst, so that I may find your final flaw and end you like the impatient one you are!"
He flicked the rod and took a defensive stance.
The beast looked up at him as dark blood seems to trickle and dry down the demon's face, his eyes glowing red as his bares his teeth, lips pulled back. The beast seems hurt as his breath labors, but for some reason the abomination doesn't look angry, in fact, he seems intrigued.
An interesting maneuver, I must admit. Metal Man can hear this, echoing through his own mind as the beast's shoulder lower, letting out a soft hiss, obviously hindered by his wounds. Although I would hope you'd expect me to be able to fight lacking the use of my throat . . . besides, the stage is already set quickly nicely.
The ebony scaled demon takes a step back as his lips curl, his eyes glowing too bright to tell what he's looking at, unable to discern his pupils from the shine. Behind the mechanical assassin the ruins billow with flame from the demon's previous attack. The air is kissed with hot air as they demonic embers flicker wildly. There's a deep boom, enough to catch Metal man's attention as the demon spreads his wings and takes his feet from the ground for a better vantage point, several condensed balls of black and ref flame spiraling from the inferno like cannonballs, taking to the air.
They screech upwards and then move, turning downwards and home in on their metallic target, ready to strike. His opponent would hopefully know better than to stand and wait to be incinerated, expecting the now lighter foe to take to try and dodge. Three balls of heat seem to streak passed his form, nearly missing, and allowing Metal man passage, but he's realize it was not that easy, as the failed attacks suddenly turn and race back towards him, now having attack son either side of him.
Wings catching the heat of the land, the demon flies up a little higher, allowing his foe ample space to move. I'd suggest to keep moving, but then I'd be lying if I said I didn't want my hellfire to scorch you where you stand. The fireballs move quickly to regain a home on their target, even if you try and move away, although the demon would give you quite some credit, he'd not be surprised at all if you could move yourself for quite some time, dodging the demonic pyromania, although flame was not quite as simple to dodge as something more corporeal. Embers flicker and burst, you can feel the heat of every dodged ember kiss your armor and skin, burning, making every next quick evasion that much harder as you're given no time to recover.
One touches at the side of your face, as the other just barely misses burning a hole through your shoulder, you can still feel the painful warmth as you move your body to allow it to pass by again. However, the attack finally catches up with your movement, the demon watching as one of the fireballs careen low and suddenly smash into your leg and knee, burning away at your limb brutally, causing your motions to be hindered. Then next two move, slamming right down into your back, sending you slamming your feet against the ground as they continue to burn into your armor, the rest motion as well, slamming into your arm, forcing you to lose your weapon to the warm earth.
The demon spreads his wings wide, having seen his opportunity rise, as his fingers start to manifest those shadowy vapors again. One one hand a large great sword appears, long and sharp as his fingers twist and grip around the heavy handle. In his other the shadows billow outwards like a cloud before a thick shield forms in his claws. The demon then pulls back his wings, taking to a dive towards the action, pushing his shield out forward, and his blade drawn back.
Black and red embers flicker across your skin, keeping you distracted as the demon makes his assault, the last two balls of demonic flame move and slamming first onto your shoulder, forcing you to turn, then another, right on the wound would, knocking you to face the beast as he swoops to meet you. Before you can even react and hope to turn this around the demon's black shield rudely smashes into your stomach, launching you off your footing and into the air by a couple feet. The demonic abomination then sweeps forward with the blade of his sword, against your prone body and sends you flying back, the only thing stopping you being the rubble and ruins of the fallen city, as your back and shoulder meet with them at high speed and dumps you to the broken marble below.
Time to end this. As the flames leave your body as your attacked, moving in several small balls to surround the demon's heavy blade as his feet barely graze the ground, his wings still spread. Burn! As with that his arms force the blade forward, until its tip it pointed at your body like a commander's motion for his army to attack. The orbs of flame leave the demon's weapon and motion towards you, moving in formation and getting closer to each other before they finally merge, combining to a meteor of flame several times larger than the attacks individually, moving towards your fallen form ready to burn away your figure.
Smacked with fireballs and already damaged, the Metal Man held up his useless hands. The massive fireball came at him. He made an insane grin at the fire as it came at him.
"That all you can do? Wow. You're a wimp."
What?
...The man spun his hands, then launched both into the ground beneath him. He then hopped into the air as his prosthetic hands exploded, sending him above the giant fireball. Landing in the ground behind it like a ton of bricks, he recovered and put that rod to use--it split in two and locked to where his hands were once connected. He now had shiny poles for hands... ..very flexible poles...
...
He spun them around. "I don't need any fancy special effects to take you out, Mr. Fireball. Come on, make your huge fireball home against me. I dare you."
Of course, the massive fireball would do so. Not that Metal Man worried. While it turned its huge, fiery bum around, the man leaped through the air like lightning, taking his foe by surprise and smacking him in the side of the head with a rapidly spinning pole-hand. He landed behind the demon and then began furiously punching and smacking at his foe with the pole hands, at a speed many times faster than any of his attacks had been before.
His foe tried to block and dodge and even make the huge fireball hit him--but he was too fast. Of course, he could land a million of these blows and still not kill his foe. After a moment of running around like a madman, he changed up his attacks.
"Of course, you are no ordinary being, so allow me."
He launched both poles off into a bottomless pit, then stood before his demon, handless, and leaking blood fluid from his wrists. Yet contrary to the pathetic appearance... he ran at his foe one last time.
The demon had had enough; he moved for the fireball to immolate this sad wreck. He saw a handless punch fly at his face and went to block it.
KABOOM. What the hell? The punch was an explosion! It knocked the demon back.
"You didn't think I'd fight you with normal stuff alone, did you? Well if you did... too bad!"
The man of steel threw himself at the demon once more, this time throwing punch after punch. His handless cuffs were positioned perfectly to resemble the top chamber of an engine--and his volatile 'blood' as gasoline. With every punch he measured the right amount and then punched, compressing it. Once compressed... BLAMMO! Explosion.
And his foe... had been turned into the hapless piston.
Block or hit, the Demon was now under attack by literally hundreds of explosions, burning and singing and just smashing his flesh with tremendous force.
He could make that fireball chase Metal Man to the ends of the Earth--but he himself would be a pile of exploded demonflesh if he didn't think quick!
"I'll blow you to pieces. Ha ha ha ha ha!" KABOOM BOOM BOOM BOOOM BOOOM!
