This was released on cell phones in Japan. Here we might see it on Wii Ware.

I'm kind of excited.

YAY. This in itself is good news, yet it opens the door for ALL cellphone games by Square and maybe others. FF7 Snowboarding, KH Coded (I think) and some Parasite Eve game are among the ones I'd like.

Is this the one about Cecil, who has a son by this time?

Awesome. Once again, I'll get this once I have some money.

Sounds a little too close to "Theodore" for my liking...

The ESRB also rated Earthbound for the Virtual Console, so I'm not trusting anything yet.

I might consider getting it, considering they paid Chrono some attention recently any boycott of Square is lifted. Then again, it IS a direct sequel, and you know how I feel about those. -CSM

There's a reason for that. It's explained in FF4 DS.

I was planning on beating the DS version someday but with this game coming out I may have to beat it soon.

I really don't know how to feel about this, one the one hand I'm thrilled that Square seems to be giving a damn about pre VII/7 FF games on the other hand considering how FFx-2 turned out I'm not sure this is a great idea after all.

This has the potential to be awesome or complete crap. I'll cross my fingers for the first one...

Honestly I'm indifferent about it. They don't COMPLETELY resolve everything here although it would be nice for Zemus to actually have some backstory.

...anyone else think they wasted a perfectly good story with Zemus there? He more or less seems to come out of nowhere, almost like Necron except there was actually some foreshadowing with him.

^ Same for FF9. The final boss kinda made no sense (not the other dude with the tail but the giant godlike dude).

Kuja's a guy? oh wait, nah he actually looks like he might have a "Y" chromosome in Dissidia.

Necron is really the only flaw I can find with FF9. Too out of the blue.

Kuja was ****ing awesome, though.

I liked how Zidane went to go save Kuja after basically annihilating him. Awesome game.

Kuja sucked, until Seymour started existing. THEN Kuja was awesome. -CSM
