But the Frog thing makes some sense. Schala becoming a sudden blonde begs the question, why blonde? Why not a redhead or brunette? It doesn't make any sense. At all.
I thought it was because the Enlightened Ones dyed their hair blue to distinguish themselves from the Earthbound Ones. When Schala's fused with the Time Devourer, she has no access to the dye, so her hair reverts back to its natural color. Or is this all just a rumor?

Plus, blonde hair takes blue hair dye the best. It's not as easy on a redhead or a brunette; they'd have to bleach their hair (blonde) before they can dye it blue. 'Course, this point is moot if the hair dying theory is false.
I think the point of having an odd hair colour is indicative of the magic powers or whatever she's supposed to have. In CC, she doesn't really have any magic powers.

Also, Frog sort of does speak in an old-timey way in the DS version; it just doesn't beat you over the head with it.

Hmmm... I seem to remember hearing something about that as well. So it would make sense....

I still think it's annoying though, even if it does make sense...

I just tend to disregard everything about CC, honestly.

I would probably consider CC an alternate universe/time line and enjoy it with that in mind.

Well, the main reason I didn't really play much into CC was so I wouldnt get really disgusted with what they did with CT's storyline...

Where is Jay?

He seemed to leave around the time everyone started talking about Chrono Cross.
I've heard that explanation before, but I thought it was natural mostly because Magus has the same hair colour as Janus.

Of course that can easily be explained...it could just be that he makes the dye by himself or the mystics dye his hair to separate him from the humans.

Maybe if I were to REALY nitpick I'd talk about her clothes and how she looks nothing like Schala, part of that is the artstyle. :B
The Magic Drain Theory is definitely the correct theory.

hmmmm yeah I guess. Might as well not bother asking why Kidd's hair doesn't turn blue when she uses elements. Maybe they don't count as magic. *Shrugs*
