Somehow I think attacking people for attacking people and then telling them they should have fun is an oxymoron.

Also, new page. Hopefully we can cut down on the 'whining'; you think my mudslinging is bad? Just read page after page of 'We should have fun.' Well have fun, then! I'm not trying to stop you. You are stopping yourselves...

Although, I guess then it's out of my hands. And you might find it fun to complain about not having fun. So if you must, carry on.

Also I've heard some people have issues with clicking on-page email links. I will update the page so that it is easier for people to send votes.

Frankly, Metal Man, your ads have become more and more annoying as the elections have dragged on. You attacked me for using more pictures of you, your contributors, and your posts in my ads in the primaries. Now, you're doing the exact same thing to your competitors. You waited until after my one-week stunt where I explained the tenets of my campaign to finally explain yours, and yet you whine that everybody copies you. You've made a big deal out of me becoming CM like it's somehow my fault Irby got butthurt about something and got banned. I can't say I expected better from you though, considering how often you talk down to Sean on the SMBHQ forums.

I just want the voters to know that I only use clean politics. Go ahead, hotlink my pictures if you want to attack me or comment on them. They're all on Photobucket or Picoodle anyway. And, I didn't get annoying "friends" from other forums to do my campaigning for me during the primaries. It came right from the ole' noggin.

Since I know this is probably tl;dr, a summary: Yoshi's right, Metal Man's annoying, my politics are awesome.
Laika makes a point.

Except about his politics being awesome. I think that may be stretching the ego a bit.

I won't reveal who's leading, but the results have been interesting so far.

Remember, that next week the number of candidates will be reduced to two and everyone will be free to move their vote.

So, in other words, Metal Man isn't winning?

Anyway, that Donez marionette that Fred owns is awesome. Sadly, Fred isn't making all the decisions behind the campaign.

Vote for who you actually want to win, rather than what other people tell you to do. :p

Vote for the best candidate, i.e. Donez.

Unless there is a huge swarm of votes today, I now know who will be the final two.

As such, I go through some of the ground rules for the second round of voting, which starts tomorrow:
  • All, but the top two canadidates will be stricken from the ticket (the campaign mangers will then be allowed to post concession speeches, moving support to one of the remaining candidates)
  • All the votes will be cleared, though the leading candidate will start off with one vote.
  • To keep things fair, no one will know who that leading candidate is
That's all, the final voting begins tomorrow.

Hahahaha
Shortly before election ends, Menaced By Puppet shows us, what good campaigns can look like: A huge part of fun, combinated with some election-themed messages, but without mudslinging. Of course he says something about the other candidates, but he does it without offending them.
Very nice :)

Although I noticed, you've left Yoshi completely out of the comix ^^

Another victory for Metal Man/MBP; and now, in an ironic twist, the same two CMs from the Nintendoite primary are competing directly for the president!
