I'm playing through Breath of Fire 2 right now, and I cannot help but notice the similarities between Jean of the aforementioned game, and Glenn (Frog} from Chrono Trigger.
They both are/were cursed, speak strangly, are frogs, use swords, are or at least have ties to royalty and have something to do with special or legendary swords. Those are just the basics that I have noticed so far.
So, who do you like more and why?
I like Frog much more and I think he'd win if they fought, and his backstory is cool.

Frog without a doubt. One of my favorite video game characters ever.

Frog pwns and has an AWESOME theme song. Jean was just creepy and I really saw no use for him, except
to cross certain areas of the world map in his frog form for story purposes.
Even though you say he's jolly, I still find him creepy. Besides, I had better characters to use. (Nina, Katt, and Rand/Bow ftw)

Really, Glenn. Jean isn't bad or anything, but he really gets outclassed rather quickly just by Katt, Rand, Bleu/Deis, or Nina.
Although admittedly, he probably would have been a better choice for my party than who I used, Bow. ^^;

^Bow could have been something great if they didn't pull him out of the game for a while then return him to you with no level bonuses.

I still think he's the best healer.

Nahh....Rand is a better healer. Give him the healing powers and you have the best of both worlds. A cleric who still kicks butt.

I use Bow and Rand because I need two healers since I like to attack physically. -CSM

Rand's good because he can take and dish more damage, but Bow has Cure X. And Cure X ftw. XD I suppose that at low max HP, Cure 3 is enough though.

Also, Bow has Def Up X and Bleu doesn't have that one. (I used her)

I try to keep them all at usable levels but I will always have Bleu, at least.
I find Nina to suck greatly. Spar is kinda crappy too, but even if ge was good, he's retarded looking.

I did have a party of Ryu, Rand/Bow (don't remember which), Bleu/Deis, and Nina. I liked it. Bleu/Deis was the first to go, so I was able to have her use the multi-healing items when she wasn't blowing things up.

Did anyone ever level Katt up enough so she can use her spells? -CSM
