- During the final confrontation, as a reply to the heroes' cliché, melodramatic "what we've learned on our journey and why we fight against evil" speech. This line gave rise to the term "self-help booklet scene" among gamers to refer to similar sequences in other games.

"My life is a chip in your pile anti up!" Setzer after agreeing to help the returns get to the southern continent.

"Okay, fine uncle Ulty really wants you to paint his picture." Ultruss right before he's about to get a nasty surprize.

Even though I've been playing through the GBA versoin the old SNES quotes seem to stick better in my memory.

How is it our fault if Woosly's translation gave all the best lines to the Villan?

I don't recall the dialog right of the bat but the whole Sabin Cyan exchange over wheather or not they should eat the food on the Phantome train was well done.

"You're a regular little munchkin" Sabin to Gau at the Velt.

"You strangers you scare animel go away!" Gau if you hit attack him on the Velt.

"Hurry up Mr. Thou we're leaving!" Gau again at the Velt after you get him to join your party.
