The most interesting part of that article is how the Illusion of Gaia actually got to people early by ordering through QVC. I don't think I've ever heard of something similar occurring back then. I actually never even saw regular video games on QVC, just little cheapo Tiger Electronics handheld type stuff, to my memory. Nice find here.
