-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiren_the_WandererThese games are based on procedural generated dungeons ("mystery dungeons"), which are dungeons with unique corridors and rooms for each floors every time the player enters in one. In dungeons, they have to fight monsters while collecting items to survive throughout the adventure, whether to protect against stronger foes, avoid unseen traps and hazards, or avoid starving, with the goal of exiting the dungeon after a fixed number of floors.

Re: Shiren the Wanderer
I've tried at least one, maybe two, I'm not sure. I don't really like the rogue-like RPG genre, or whatever it's called. It's not horrible but I lose interest fast.

Re: Shiren the Wanderer
Oh yeah! I actually decided to go play the SFC version after playing through Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, mostly to see their roots.
I have managed to finish a playthrough... although I kind of cheesed the final boss by throwing a scroll that banishes any enemies that get hit by it lol.
