FF6. No game I've played since it has been able to touch that particular brand of magic...except for maybe FF9, which I'm nearing the end of Disc 3 in

Chrono Trigger was better, simply because it didn't fall apart at the end. Plus, the story was more unique. FF3 followed the classic Star Wars model.

Where does the classic Star Wars model come in?

I'm with Tritoch on this one. Chrono Trigger was great, and its storyline may have been more original. Not neccessarily. Since when is time travel original? (Not to mention that CT was more problematic because of the whole "time travel" deal). But originality doesn't mean better. FF6 was just better. You could really connect with the characters. The CT characters were all crazy stereotypes.

FF6>Chrono Trigger>SMRPG

Blah freakin' blah!

The empire vs. the rebels.

All of that stuff you said is all your opinion.

You're oversimplifying. It's far form being like Star Wars in that the main focus is placed in different spots.

It's unfair to compare CT and FF6 with SMRPG. So I'll just leave SMRPG out of this.

I personally like CT more, it put some tunes in my head, had great GFX, and the battle system was scrumtralessent.

FF6 is still a great RPG by all means. It also puts tunes in my head, and had great GFX. But CT's battle system gave it a slight edge over the almost unbeatable Battle system of the FF series.

SMRPG nonetheless has the more fun, type of edge to it. I actually enjoyed the side quests. And man, I could laugh 100 times in 60 minutes. The dialouge is pure Nintendo.

SMRPG. The best game on the planet.
