There aren't any weapons in FFX. However, there are the Dark Aeons, which are a LOT harder than any boss from any FF game, including the Weapons. You need max stats to even have somewhat of a chance to take them on, and at the very least 30,000 HP with every character. And then once you kill them all you get to fight some boss or another, which is supposed to be incredibly hard. I've only managed to beat Dark Valefor. I tried Ixion and Ifrit, but I was killed before I could even move.
