3 way tie because...

never played smrpg but have the rom. just never crossed my mind to play it. thinking about playing it now.

I just cannot choose between ct and ff6. there the best rpg/games ever made. never really beaten ff6 yet but getting close to getting off my ass to do it. i beat ct once and plan on starting to play it again.

Paper Mario is way too overrated. It was good, but not nearly as good as SMRPG.

Damn... three great games. First, however, I want to say that Paper Mario is NOWHERE near ANY of these games. If I added these games together and divided it by infinity it would still be a bajillion times better than Paper Mario.

Now that that's out of the way.

Super MaRPGio was a great game, yes, but I feel that it really doesn't compare with these. It's more of a fun, adventurey game, whereas FF 6 and CT are much more serious. I must say, however, that I'm not qualified to have an unbiased opinion, since while I've played MaRPGio and CT to the end, I haven't beaten FF 6 yet. I don't even own it... I play it on ROM. I do own CT though. :D

Anyway...

I gotta say that so far FF6 is looking like it's gonna blow CT out of the water. I plan on purchasing it at some point in the near future, and then I'll be glued to my TV for a few days until it's finished... THEN I can make an opinion.

Saying that Paper Mario is better than SMRPG just seems so incredibly wrong to me.

SMRPG, Chrono Trigger, and FF3 all leave Paper Mario in the dust. Don't get me wrong, Paper Mario is a great game, but it's just not SMRPG.
