This is hugely long, and so incredibly worth reading through to the end.

I read as much as I could. It's a decent article, kind of scary. I just know that I'd like to linger as long as possible...

More people need to see this. Everyone, in fact.

I have always believed patients deserve a choice between living and fighting or merely dying and avoiding suffering. Assisted suicide should be legal. Forcing the terminally ill to live is inhumane.

^ The only problem with assisted suicide from a non-moral point of view is what if there's a lack of professionals willing to help with that? I can't imagine I'd want a job doing that but maybe there's people who don't feel that way about it. After all, there's no shortage of doctors performing abortions.

The whole article is about the suffering of people clinging desperately onto their last days, and is written by a professional. I am sure there are plenty of professionals that would agree that assisted suicide is moral.

^ Moral or not, I would imagine not a lot of people would like to do that work. I couldn't do it for long, if at all.

Man, if I got sick like that I'd want them to just let me go naturally. I want to be able to have my last words. Something like "Peace out, bitches."
