Pets names!
We've got a whole pile of animals going on here.
Given names include: SteamLord, Tish, Doc Mugen, Ukko, Sparrow, and Truffle Bun.
Nicknames include: Steamy, Short Mow, White Thing, Mister/Doctor Fluff, Flufferpuss, Bubby, Mister Bitey, Grunty, Fatty Cat, Rarr.
What are your pets named, and what do you end up calling them? ;)

Only ever had two pets---Spooky the labraterrier and Goblin the siamese cat (got them at Halloween, what can I say). Never really nicknamed the dog anything (sometimes called him 'Spook' for short, I guess)---called the cat 'Goober' and 'Goofball' quasi-affectionately.

Current pets are my 16 1/2 year old orange/white cat named Hobbes and an eight year old gray/black cat named Tiger. Hobbes had a brother named Raul until about 2004, just before I started high school, when he ran off.
For dogs, the first was a black lab named Berny when I was five (Gave him away after two years), and then a few years ago we had Max, a black shih tzu (Given after a whopping one year).

I have four animals I consider personal pets, and they are Harley Quinn the schnauzer, Koopa (or Koops) the turtle, Pawsy the cat, and Boomer, another schnauzer. Among the other myriad dogs we have chillin' around the crib (my mom breeds and grooms for a living), we have such names as Ajani, Shenzi, and Bonzai, and I'm sure there's some other geekdom thing I've slipped in there and forgotten. We recently kept a puppy from Harley's first litter, and we named her Marceline. As long as mom keeps asking me offhand what to name them, I will keep giving them referential names reflexively. 'Tis me nature.

Well, we have five cats. This could go on for a while but I'll try to keep it brief.
-Piper, aka Pipey Swipey (because she's mean)
-Pepper, aka Granny Cat (she's Piper's sister but literally all she ever does is sleep)
-Ranulf, aka Stinky, aka Wiggy/Wiggy Monster (nobody can agree on a spelling. My mom spells it Weegee and that's just not even close)
-Cupcake, aka Cakey/Cakey Wakey, aka Cupquita
-Muffin, who is Cupcake's daughter that Cupcake named Brrbrr apparently, who I call Burbler. Because she kind of burbles when she meows.

I've had so many cats over the years... I had a fat orange cat named Reno (I was obsessed with FFVII at the time) who would walk halfway down the driveway when I got off the school bus and expect me to carry him back to the house. He was a sweetheart.
I've also had a cat who just showed up and looked super old/grizzled, so we called him Old Man. I had a black cat named Princess Peanutbutter Snowflake, who we found out should actually be called Prince Peanutbutter Snowflake. I usually just called him Prince Peanutbutter.
I also had a cat that was supposedly 1/4 Bobcat named Bob. He had a bobtail, huge paws with extra toes, was just huge in general, and had these massive, sharp teeth. Sweetest kitty in the world though.
I don't currently own a kitty though, because my apartment doesn't allow them. I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to come up with names even when I do move to a place that allows animals, because I plan to adopt an older cat who'll probably already have a name. Which reminds me that at the pet store last week, there was an older cat named Ray Bradbury! I wanted to adopt him, but I think he got a home. :)
