What do you like about your neighbourhood?

How 'green' is your neighbourhood?
What kind of art (statues, wall art, special architecture, etc) can be found in your area/city?
What is one thing you'd change about your neighbourhood?

There's a lot of grass & trees, & we're not too far from a big park.
There's a lot of public art around the city, but mostly just neat architecture in the neighborhood.
I'd take out some speedbumps that don't need to be here.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It's pretty clean, and it's along two bus routes I use frequently, and it has one of those privately-owned movie theatres that do Saturday/Sunday matinees and Friday night freakshows of older movies.
A few years back, the city council commissioned some public artwork in my neighbourhood---------murals on the side walls of local businesses along the main street. Helped beautify some of the drab grody old buildings and 'bolster civic pride' or some such.
Here's some of them.

My favorite bit of Houston architecture/art is the Waterwall.
My neighborhood is suburban with a handful of trees per lot, and plantings all along the trails and parks. The best part of the neighborhood is either that there are 4 parks in walking distance along the trails, or the access to a pool all summer. If I were gonna change something, I'd make the pool restrooms accessible by residents who are at the adjacent park.
