Re: Your last gym session
I haven't been to a gym in like 12 years. I have a weight bench, dumbbells, and a pull up bar at home that I work out with.
One thing I do miss from my college weight lifting class is the leg press. But I also hated the leg press because afterward I had to walk back across campus to my dorm or the engineering buildings on exhausted legs.
Edit: Wait, no. I forgot I did a few months personal training around 6 years ago in an unairconditioned warehouse type gym. I remember the rowing machine there gave me a serious workout.

Re: Your last gym session
I last went to the gym just yesterday, actually. Once the gyms reopened after quarantine last year my brothers and I started going regularly. Yesterday I worked out my back and shoulders, which always leaves me feeling exhausted after.
My favorite equipment to use is probably the squat rack. It's a great feeling each time I get to increase the weight little by little. I'm squatting a lot more than I did when I first started.

^^Rowing machine is my go-to workout. Pretty good for cardio and strength training. Nice and low-impact, so it's easy on my janky old man knees.

Re: Your last gym session
Gyms last year were kind of awful, if you could get into one at all, so I set up a home gym. I got a rowing machine, dumbbells, pull up station, and bench with some attachments (preacher curl and hyper core... there are more, but I'm good for now). Sometimes when people do that, they just hang their clothes on it, but if I'm going to spend the money getting all that stuff, I'm going to use it regularly. The selection of available equipment is somewhat limited compared to a gym, but it is convenient to be able to workout whenever I want.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

Re: Your last gym session
I've never liked gyms. I get super anxious.
I go for walks, I do workout videos with my wife, I swim, I do yard work.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
