Where in nature is your ideal/happy place? (Mountains, beach, forest, desert? Alongside a pond/river? Some place else?)
Do you do any nature photography? If yes, are you more focused on the landscape or the flora/fauna? Or is it all equal?
Favourite season to enjoy nature?
What are your favourite nature pictures? (Feel free to find some in google images to share)
If you could visit any place in the world just for the nature, where would you go?

I do quite a bit of nature photography as a hobby
More fauna with some landscapes. I do sometimes take pictures of plants as well.

I happened to run into some nature just accidentally yesterday.
Like, I've been hearing tell of a flock of wild turkeys hanging around in the greater Old Mil area, gobbling about and just...being turkeys and all. I mean, it isn't that you don't believe it----------you just go, 'sure, them and the jackalopes, and the hodag soon thereafter'.
So I went to the store for some capri suns and mini muffins (kids are due in town tomorrow), and the turkeys showed up in force. Four hens, staring me down from the out-of-the-way cart corral whiles I loaded up my goods.
...turkeys are coyote ugly, man. You don't realise it til you see one up close.

Not to get all Anakin Skywalker, but I'm not that keen on sand, so I'm not a huge fan of beaches or desserts. The heat and sunburn play a factor there too. Plus the water at the local beaches is all ugly from the discharge of the Mississippi River. I do like rocky cliff-sides with waves crashing against them like when I went to Ireland.
Mountains are great. Houston is mostly in the range of 0-250 feet above sea level, so it's a nice change of pace. Pretty to look at and pretty to look out from.
I also like a walk along a path through a nice forest. More when I'm traveling, especially traveling somewhere less humid. Had some really nice walks through German forests.
I really want to go to Iceland for the nature. All that ice and fire business.
