Not getting fall.

We don't get any type of "fall" just a few short weeks of autumn... after months of scorching hot sun and summer!!

I moved 600 miles north and the temp difference is only like 5 degrees or so. But there's snow here so that's cool.

Not really. What I remember from living in Georgia is that it was hot and humid from late March to mid-October. After that it was cold as balls but not wet enough to snow.

I think it gets hot in Texas from May to mid-October.

Probably didn't get as much of fall and winter in Georgia as in Oregon.

Summer doesn't really transition into Fall in Milwaukee. It abruptly crash-dumps into it on the equinox. On September 22nd you'll be sweating yourself inside out from the heat and humidity, and on the 23rd it'll be forty degrees and raining incessantly.

None of the trees in my neighbourhood have changed colours yet. They're all evil honey locusts that hate man and thrive on his misery.

^Really? The trees up on the North Side have been turning for a few weeks now. My drive up to school is basically all burning orange at this point.

The weather is horrendous today, though. Went to Bayshore and couldn't keep dry at all.

Yup. Everything's still green out my window. (Not a pretty green, mind you-------honey locusts look like garbage at the best of times. Definitely not autumn colours, though.)

The leaves are turning, but it's still in the 70s. I am one happy camper.

Also, pumpkin-flavored everything.
