Oh no! She's about to eat a vegetable! Damn vegetarian agenda, putting my fragile carnivorous ways at risk. Stop forcing me to accept your choice to eat something that isn't meat!

^^ Well, thanks, and enlightenment upon you, seeing as you don't believe there is such an agenda at play...but I really do want to know why you don't think forgiveness like whos (whom's?) I cited is not more remarkable than anything in the video. Maybe you're unfamiliar with her story, if you're interested I suggest watching Season One, Episode One of "The Killer Speaks" documentary series, "Ice Cold: Levi King."

Everyone has an agenda. That doesn't make them evil people.

I watched the video, seen plenty like it already but it was a nice little thing. Thanks for posting it, SD.

Over the course of your arguing against homosexuality on these boards you have both claimed homosexuality is a choice as well as a mental disability. I don't think you really have any clue as to what you're describing or talking about at this stage.

You're free to your opinion. Things are complex, and I think free will is powerful. We're able to decide to do almost anything we want, whether or not its "natural" occurrence is a mental illness.

Murder is a good example. I don't think that you have to be mentally ill to murder but I do think that most murderers are mentally ill.

But hey, you'll stick to your guns regardless. I don't mind.

Mental disabilities are not choices. It can be one or the other (or neither), but it can't be both.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Obviously mental disabilities aren't choices. You're not understanding what I am saying or I am not conveying it properly but I never said that.

I'm saying that some people can choose to not be straight like how someone can choose to kill. They're not the same since obviously murder isn't a sexual preference but it illustrates that one may exercise free will to do something which otherwise occurs naturally as a mental illness.

I can choose to kill. I can choose to experiment with men. None of that would make me mentally ill on its own as they're merely possibilities I can explore at will like most anything else.

Similarlly, I note that some people are "prison gay" which is essentially that their environment makes them that way, much like how some people may kill in certain environments. They're separate from someone who is just naturally gay or a born killer.
