(1)All of this crap can be specified in the Settings and then saved so that every document forever more into the future does it that way. Like seriously, I had forgotten that MSWord does that (I honestly had grown to the thought that only Wordpad does!).[DOUBLEPOST=1404202612,1404202577][/DOUBLEPOST](2)And also, if we're choosing fonts, Calibri, plox.
(1) Tried that, didn't save when it said it did
(1)Thank the Powers that OpenOffice Writer has no such problem, because I would murder.
(2)I recently did some minor line-editing for someone, and stars above, they had manually tabbed each new paragraph to indent. I shuddered when I realised. Actually, physically shuddered.
(1) I miss OpenOffice. Unfortunately, we discovered a couple years back that when I edit anything with track changes on or required, it screws up the formatting to go from one program to another, so I basically have to use Word.
(2) We have a couple of AUs that are terrible about this. I honestly should charge them a nickel for each manual tab they subject me to.
My mom set up some macros on her computer. I think they still work for her, but she tried to set them up for me and my computer ate them. So doing some things take me like an extra second, which really just adds to my pay clock 8)

(i.) Did you save the Normal.dot[m] file by clicking on Save As Default...? Because seriously, this is a thing you can do.
(ii.) I only wish Comic Sanswas an available on this forum because Iwould so troll you with it right here, right now. So the best I can just do is spew random typography like I was constructing a ransom letter. If Comic Sans would be worse, please copypasta this intoWordand changethe font to Comic Sans so I can properly annoy you to the fullest. (Or Calibri if you prefer. Nya nya nyankat)

I will give you the informations!
I'm using Word 2010.
Highlight some text, right-click, and choose "Paragraph..."
Spacing Before: 0 pt, Spacing After: 0 pt, Line Spacing: Single
Press "Set As Default"
Select "All Documents based upon the Normal.dotm template" and hit "OK"
Hit "OK"[DOUBLEPOST=1405140936,1405140888][/DOUBLEPOST]And yes, I remember the "Ransom Note" font. But that requires making a graphic and installing it again. Not worth it to troll.
