I've looked into it and never really found anything which would significantly benefit me using a macro. ;)
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

Well you could have written a macro to scan for tabs at the start of paragraphs and fixed up all the document in a programmatic fashion in a minute or so!
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

I manually tab new paragraphs. It keeps auto-indent from blowing up all of my non-paragraph-format stuff.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
(1)All of this crap can be specified in the Settings and then saved so that every document forever more into the future does it that way. Like seriously, I had forgotten that MSWord does that (I honestly had grown to the thought that only Wordpad does!).[DOUBLEPOST=1404202612,1404202577][/DOUBLEPOST](2)And also, if we're choosing fonts, Calibri, plox.
(1) Tried that, didn't save when it said it did
(1)Thank the Powers that OpenOffice Writer has no such problem, because I would murder. :smirk:

(2)I recently did some minor line-editing for someone, and stars above, they had manually tabbed each new paragraph to indent. I shuddered when I realised. Actually, physically shuddered.
(1) I miss OpenOffice. Unfortunately, we discovered a couple years back that when I edit anything with track changes on or required, it screws up the formatting to go from one program to another, so I basically have to use Word.
(2) We have a couple of AUs that are terrible about this. I honestly should charge them a nickel for each manual tab they subject me to.

My mom set up some macros on her computer. I think they still work for her, but she tried to set them up for me and my computer ate them. :sob: So doing some things take me like an extra second, which really just adds to my pay clock 8)

(i.) Did you save the Normal.dot[m] file by clicking on Save As Default...? Because seriously, this is a thing you can do.
(ii.) I only wish Comic Sanswas an available on this forum because Iwould so troll you with it right here, right now. So the best I can just do is spew random typography like I was constructing a ransom letter. If Comic Sans would be worse, please copypasta this intoWordand changethe font to Comic Sans so I can properly annoy you to the fullest. (Or Calibri if you prefer. Nya nya nyankat)

a. No... ;w; I dunno what version you're using but I assume this also works for 2013.
b. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT. I actually found a font somewhere called Ransom Note. Maybe I'll find it again and copypasta it into Word...

I will give you the informations!

I'm using Word 2010.

Highlight some text, right-click, and choose "Paragraph..."
Spacing Before: 0 pt, Spacing After: 0 pt, Line Spacing: Single
Press "Set As Default"
Select "All Documents based upon the Normal.dotm template" and hit "OK"
Hit "OK"[DOUBLEPOST=1405140936,1405140888][/DOUBLEPOST]And yes, I remember the "Ransom Note" font. But that requires making a graphic and installing it again. Not worth it to troll. :D
