Hey, I could totally call Cupcake that! Except I tend to go more for Buttface.Card wrote:There are 4 animal living at my place, but only one of them is mine. She's a cat and her name is Mistral. Her name often changes to Assbutt.

When we got my dog as a puppy he was the runt of the litter and he was really quiet and slow and kind of drowsy and out of it, so we named him "Sonic" because we thought it would be ironic and hilarious.
He is now bat**** insane, energetic as hell, and a bit deranged. The name we gave him may have altered his destiny.
we mostly call him either Sonic or Butt, depending on how annoying he's being. <3

I named one of our cats (Doc Mugen) after two hostile jerks, and he's a hostile jerk to the other cats. I'm pretty sure he started that way, though.CuccoLady wrote:When we got my dog as a puppy he was the runt of the litter and he was really quiet and slow and kind of drowsy and out of it, so we named him "Sonic" because we thought it would be ironic and hilarious.

My first cat is named Ani. We got him at a period of time in which I was obsessed with Majora's Mask (so, anywhere from 8 years old to the present). My parents let me name him, so I named him after Oni-Link because he's badass. When they asked me why I picked the name Oni, I blanked, and said I just liked how it sounded. They asked me how to spell it and I said A-N-I to avoid suspicion that I had just named our pet after a video game. In retrospect, I doubt that they would have minded, but I was young.

We've added a Lolita (pre-named when we took her in) to the cat herd, who gets called Lolli and Pretty. Also, Sparrow is consistently called Floppy-Wah, and Ukko has upgraded to Captain Butts.
Outdoor visiting cats include Thing and Snow White. Who knows what their normal names are.

The first dog I remember was a sheperd dog named Copper. He was this mean Australian-German shepherd thing. He eventually ran away and disappeared.
There was also this stray cat that came around that we called Mau Mau, when I was five and my sister was 4 or so. It stopped one day. I later found out that it had been ripped to shreds by something. My mom just hid it from us at the time.
After that, we got another dog. This one was a big, fluffy retriever-chow chow mix. Imagine a yellow dog with long fur, the face of a retriever, and the stout body and black tongue of the chow chow. They named her Katie. Eventually, Katie had puppies, and we kept one and they named her Brittany. She looked more like a brown retriever than anything else. Brittany was not in the least aggressive, unlike her mother. She lived with her mother for about a 1 year and 6 months before we got a third dog.
We also had a god called Snickers for a while. He was a white thing with brown, rectangular splotches. He was a puppy from a litter Brittany had. In fact, just to shorten this, we went through several litters of puppies from all three of our dogs. Shyla had the most. Brittany only ever had one. Katie had two. We always gave the puppies away to relatives or people around us. We kept Snickers, but then my parents decided to give him to our uncle's family. We had had him for a year at that point, so me and my sister were upset.
Then we got a rottweiler when I was 6 and named her Shyla. She lived for 15 years(longest time I have ever had a dog) and died a year after we moved to town, hardly able to walk and half deaf. For most of that time, she lived out in the country with Katie and Brittany. We eventually had to keep them separate, because Katie hated her and one morning she attacked Shyla and was doing her best to kill her until my mom got her off by force. Katie was always aggressive toward any other animal but Brittany. One day, me and my sister went outside and found Brittany dead outside her house. To be specific, we were out to feed her and Katie, and found that. No idea what happened. Katie was around for a few more years until she ran off and disappeared.
About the time Katie disappeared, we ended up with a brown tabby cat. They named it Gizmo. We had him for about two years, until we found him mangled at the side of the road one day. We were obviously upset, and I remember going with my grandpa to bury him near the edge of the woods. I carried his corpse on a shovel and then dug a hole deep enough to put him in. We even marked the grave with a big block. I visited it one last time before we left there when I was 19.
Then we ended up with another cat, that they named Sugar. He actually lived without dying horribly. We had had about 3 other cats, and they either disappeared or died. Sugar was alive at least up to 2010, when I last saw him. We left him when we moved because by that point he was half wild and spent more time at the neighbor's house than ours. He would barely let anyone near him anymore.
My uncle ended up pawning a gray cat they named Nevehah(or something) on us after we got Sugar. We ended up with kittens, and a bunch of strays coming in. We had about 15 cats and half wild barn cats running around at that point. One of the more fierce ones was an orange eyed black cat with grey stripes at the neck we called Saria. We also named another one Oreo. Honestly, I don't know why we named them all. We took some of them to town with us when we moved, but they dispersed or got given away, and I see a lot of cats that neighbors have that look similar. Nevehah stuck around for a while. We also got a Yorkshire terrier a few months before moving named Lily.
We also had a dog called bear for a while, in about 2010. My sister gave him away though.
Other than those, we had at some point a Persian cat named Jude(because of the Beatles song), a black and whitecat named Roxy, a tabby cat named Clover, a brown rottweiler mix named Buddy, and a Maltese dog called Luke. In addition, I kept a turtle called Rumska and a newt called Orlando. Also, we had some Bantam roosters (one white one brown) at one point.... Can't remember if I called them anything.
Really, I never got to name much of anything.
