Yesterday, I was like, bro. I have the job to pay for it and I just cleaned my room and have the dresser-top space for an aquarium. LET'S DO THIS.
MEET WIGGLE!!!!!!!
She is named after Wiggle, my Turtwig in Pokemon Platinum. Wiggle was my first ever female starter. Now, I don't actually know the sex of this babby tortoise, but I'm just calling her a her because her namesake is a girl and because I don't think turtles care about gender.
As you can see, I had some fun decorating her space because I'm supposed to put the logs and such that she will want to burrow next to on the warm side under the heat lamp, so the cool side was looking rather barren. I put Future Trunks, Metal Sonic, and Combee over there to spruce things up a bit, but not to attract her to spend too much time where it's cool. She is a desert tortoise after all!!
So far she has spent most of her time eating (SHE LOVES RASPBERRIES) and burrowing. She slept buried under the thermometer last night. When she moved it wobbled around. It was adorable.
