And don't use electronics an hour before you go to bed. Read instead.

I had trouble sleeping again last night.

Actually, I fell asleep for one hour, then took a pill at 12.

I keep waking up at 6:30.

Please go see a doctor.

Another thing: worrying about not being able to sleep might be what is keeping you awake.

Actually, at least for this week, I haven't really had trouble sleeping.

I've just been getting up in the middle of the night, and taking a pill.

For love of god, go see a doctor if it's a big concern of yours.

Seriously. I don't know how many people need to tell you to go see a doctor before you decide to go see a doctor. No one here is qualified enough to tell you these things.

My mom won't take me to a doctor.

:wtf:

Then it's probably not as bad as you think. Have you told her your problems?

Uh, yes.

She says I have a tendency to overreact. Once, I complained of a stomachache for a week or two, and she wouldn't take me to a doctor. When I finally went to a doctor, it turned out I had appendicitis.

If you won't just take yourself to the doctor, and your mother can't, then call another family member or friend and ask them to give you a ride. You're not a child. You can make an effort to do something about this on your own.

VGA, whatever I say here may sound harsh.

I don't mean to be harsh, but I've got to get this into your skull.

You are 21 years old. I am literally just one day older than you. You can make your own choices in life, you're a grown ass man now.

If you really are concerned about these medical issues, you SERIOUSLY need to see a doctor. NONE of us are remotely qualified to help you. Furthermore we're not responsible for your health, you and ONLY you are. I mean this in the most polite way possible here. I understand you have personal issues, and I understand your mum is overprotective. But you have to look out for yourself in life, cause ain't NO **** gonna be always looking out for you. If you go and its nothing, awesome move on in your life, but if theres a chance its something serious at least something can be done about it, be that medication, cognitive therapy, dietary change, just SOMETHING.

The only thing we can do is give you advice.

and our advice is to go to a doctor, find a way to get to one. Take it or leave it.

Download the app SleepBot, assuming you have any smartphone. It helps you monitor your sleep and detects any issues you really have, as well as giving advice. All you need to do is have the phone near you and you push the button when you go to bed and again when you wake up. It can record your movements during sleep.

Not to be a troll or anything, this a serious suggestion, but I'll have it in spoiler tags because of its mature content:
Have you tried jerking off? That always zonks me to sleep.
CVS has these places now called Minute Clinic. If you don't want to go through the hassle of going to the doctor's office, you can stop by any CVS, sign in, and give your problems there.
