COMMUNTIY PROJECT: Area Travel Guides

So I got to thinking it might be fun to provide a way for players to leave their mark on the RPG and make it a little more interesting place at the same time.
The premise is simple: Have you ever read a cool strategy guide or site about a game that provided some good tips and entertaining flavor text about the world the game takes place in? That's what this is about. Anybody that wants to can write up a little something for anything in the game, be it an area, an NPC, a monster, item, spell, tip, trick or any thing else!
If it gathers enough attention, it could really turn into a fun group project.
Don't feel like you have to limit yourself to just the established either. This is a chance for creativity. Write a little backstory if you want, or add some details to a place's local culture.
When enough information on a particular area has been gathered, We'll organise it and put it into a book in the actual game for players to find or buy as they travel through the game world.
Here's a quick example of what a monster entry might look like. Even if somebody else does something first, feel free to add to it or try your own hand at it.
Weak Goblin
Level: 2
HP: 50
MP: 0
STR 8
DEF: 1
MAG: 0
M DEF: 1
SPD: 5
DEX: 1
EVA: 1
Info:
"The weakest of the weak." These mischievous little imps scrape out their living hiding throughout the Great Forest and the snowbound plains. Known as pests to the locals of Terial and Forest Edge's Village, they're prone to sneak around at night, stealing anything they can get their grimmy little hands on. Luckily, they have feeble physical strength so anything weighing more than a few pounds is simply too heavy for them to make off with. It's not uncommon to discover something that previously went missing laying on the ground near the sight of a recent theft, simply because the Goblin struck again and discovered it wasn't strong enough carry both it's old and new prizes.
No real strategy is required to best a Weak Goblin in battle as they're inferior in almost every way to even the greenest adventurer. Still, they're scrappy little guys and often seek to team up with other stronger allies to improve their chances. Sadly, it's not uncommon for these partnerships to end poorly for the Goblin, and many have met an untimely end in the jaws of would-be forest friends due to a clash with their less than sparkling personalities. Such is the life of the small fry.
But don't feel too badly for them, because where one Weak Goblin falls, two more are always ready to scamper from the underbrush to take it's place.
... Get the idea? I'm hoping this is something we can all join in on. Add your own entries to this topic. Don't feel pressure to match the length or style of anyone else.
