Equipment may feel heavier now

Because we have figured out and incorporated Weight into things now. If you're not strong enough you might not be able to equip everything you want at the same time. So you might need to be a little more strategic with what you craft with.

If you're still cooperating with me and obeying the RPG's honor code, you will discard the custom equipment you made before as soon as you can replace them, since they must currently be as light as air. kay?

[Crav edit: Look for a new enchantment at the City by the Sea potion shop related to these changes.]

It really hasn't effected me at all. I'm still over 300 under my maximum.

By the way, if you casted any enchantments on any non-custom items that can only be found once, they don't work right because all the stats of those items reset. Contact one of us any time to have them replaced with a new one.

And the game gets angry and explodes. =/
A lot of the regular items that people already own seem to have returned to their original stats if they had any enchantments cast on them. But the enchantments are still attatched, meaning they can't be recast and most of the items are now pretty worthless.

Sorry about that.

Please make a list of all the items you lost and PM them to me or S1x. I'll replace the damaged items as soon as I see the message.

^This.

And yes I do play the game. I won't say my username to avoid the risk of being flamed on the game itself. You guys seem to have respect for me when I am on it so I'd rather not risk it.

Then what exactly is a stupid idea, and why? What would be a better solution?

Productive comments make the world go 'round.

heheh, I've known who you are since you started playing. ;)

Relax, nobody is going to bother you here. I won't put up with it, and I know S1x wouldn't either. That said, your secret is safe with me.

Constructive is the way to go. Suggestions are always welcome. Since we're on the subject I'd like to hear from anyone that wants to improve the rpg and has some ideas. No promises we'll actually use them, but we are open to suggestion.

Well just fix the bugs that bringing in weight has caused. You are a very good programmer Cravdraa. I have mostly just been using your RPG as an idea for what I could possibly come up with in my head.

As far as I know, there aren't any more bugs beyond the fact that all the existing items' stats already changed. They're all being replaced as fast as possible.

My question from before still itches for an answer.

Powered Armor - I'm not sure of what the powered armors base stats are supposed to be

Only non-custom items were affected.

Powered Armor can just be purchased again. I've replaced the rest already.

Phew.

Now I only need to worry about Terial Shield.

So, hopefully everybody's switched over to the heavier equipment and discarded the old ones, right? There's been plenty of time to craft something new at this point. In an unspecified amount of time, I'll start getting rid of those "light" items manually, so make sure you're not still wearing some. ;)

^ Actually I don't have the materials to fashion what I want. Is there a way you can just adjust the weight manually to my amor so that I can keep them but still have the weight adjustment?

Can I keep the items if I promise not to wear them? Except for my boots, I don't even have any reason to wear any of the old stuff. I'm just amused by the idea of my character having powerful, weightless items from a bygone era.

Or if you could make available some of the more prized components like Flames and such at inflated prices so that they can not be purchased in mass bulk...that would make it easier for me to acquire the necessary parts to re-fashion my armor and stuff.

Keep in mind that there will inevitably be even better components as soon as or shortly after the new group of areas is opened. Until then, perhaps you could simply make slightly weaker temporary items that you can wear until then.
